Exactly. It gets a bit confusing once Xion gets involved (particularly involving one Keyblade existing in multiple places at once), but that's basically it.
Xion is the first product of the Replica Project (while the other Organization members' names are anagrams of their original names with an X, like Sora/Roxas and Ansem/Xemnas, Xion's name is an anagram of No. I with an X). Just like the Riku Replica was created by Vexen from data he collected by fighting Riku, Xion was created from Sora's memories, leaked through Roxas. In particular, she's created from his memories of Kairi, which is why she looks like her.
I hate the little mermaid level in KH 2! The songs are awful! and it keeps sending you to the ship till you get the next spell or drive limit to do what it wants you to even if you have it! It makes Sora look like a moron who keeps forgetting he has that powers till he gets to the ship.
Aside from the shitty music, the crap twist on rhythm games, and the fact that the English versions of the shitty songs without sound effects aren't available to replace the Japanese ones on the OST (the only such songs in the series, I think), my main problems with Atlantica in KHII are that they didn't feel like bothering to make a full world of it again but still felt compelled to include it anyway, that the story recycles parts of The Little Mermaid not used by the first game while ignoring a fair bit of the story from the first game, and that the Journal requires you to play each of the songs a second time. It doesn't even care how you do, just that you have to endure all of them twice.
It's been a while since i played KH 2 i might get some things wrong.
While i don't think the little mermaid level was horrible it was far from greatness as well. I think the main problem is that Square enix tried to make the level like the Winnie The Pooh world (where it's a bonus world with mini games and you had to come back to it when you had what was needed to continue) But there is a few big differences between the two worlds. 1, The Winnie the pooh world has different mini games so it was not the same boring mini game. 2. The Winnie the pooh world had a reason why it was mini games and why it was a bonus world. It was a bonus world in Kingdom Hearts 1. 3. The only reason i think why The little mermaid's world was in Kingdom Hearts 2 was because it was in Kingdom Hearts 1.
The guy who came up with Theatrhythm Final Fantasy has expressed interest in a Kingdom Hearts version (among others).
How awesome would that be? It'd be the first Square Enix made spin-off, yeah, but apart from a Command Board compilation I can't think of a better style of spin-off. I'd love to see notable events in the series as musical mini-games, especially if they can get the rights to Disney tracks as well as all the KH specific ones.

It would be kind of cool. If it mixed Final Fantasy music, Disney music, and KH original music, playing out key parts of the games. I'd buy it. Especially if the Disney music is not specifically tied to Kingdom Hearts(yes I want to play a rhythm game to "This is Halloween".
Does anyone know what the BGM track is on Kingdom Hearts 1 when ever Maleficent or the other Disney vilians are talking in the group about there plans.
Not off the top of my head, but I have the soundtrack and can figure it out. I'll get you an answer when I finish my yard work. For now, I think the Maleficent track you're looking for might be Villains of a Sort.
Is the 3D Kingdom Hearts Dream Drop Distance game play good? I know nothing about the game except its on sale 2morro over here Also Iv only played 1 and 2 will I understand the game or will I need to play others?
You'd definitely want to brush up on the events of Birth by Sleep and probably Re:coded. Not sure how important Chain of Memories and Days will be, but I know that Ienzo and Aeleus are in it, and they've only appeared in Days and Riku's half of Chain of Memories so far.
And the controls in the demo were very good. Almost identical to Birth by Sleep, but with a few new gameplay elements.
I have the game in my grubby mits, but I am unsure whether to play some more Birth by Sleep first, or throw caution to the wind and dig into Drem Drop Distance!
(I wiki'd the events of KH a while back. There was no way I was going to go and play all of them. I completed Days, I beat most of the 1st, and I read up on the 2nd one and BBS. (But I do have BBS now, but I haven't got so far as Ventus in it...))
So... did anyone get KH:3D today? I did, but am holding off on playing too much. I did however spend about an hour messing around with flowmotion, so that's a good sign.
I got one question Gman! Do you play in destiny islands??? i love that KH world and i hope it's a world where you can play in.
I've gotten very little in it, the game starts off in Destiny Islands, but you don't actually play in it. Then after a few cutscenes, you start in Traverse Town. Haven't gotten farther past that.
Awww you have to be kidding me a fun little island in KH 1 and now you never even get to play a minute of it in the later games!
It probably would be the best place ever to mess around with flowmotion on too.
Speaking of flowmotion, it is a fun way to get around the worlds, but it might be a little to overpowered in combat. I can use the thing and make nothing a threat so far and I'm on the highest difficulty!
Do you start out with glide from KH 1? also is Kiri in it?
You do not start out with glide(But flowmotion is better than it, believe me. That you do start off with very early on). As for Kari, so far this looks like a Sora/Riku journey only so far.
What is this flowmotion? and if it's so good why did you stop playing?
For flowmotion its just a new way to traverse quickly by doing things like jump off walls and do quick dashes and such. I am able to fly across traverse town with ease and not even fly.
As for me not playing it. I'm going to be away on Thursday for a bit so a good 3ds game would be great to pass time so I'm just trying to not get far in it.

Destiny Islands is one of the worlds in Re:Coded.
Also, I just watched the opening to Dream Drop Distance and all I can say is holy shit.
Edit: Finished with Traverse Town as both Sora and Riku. I wasn't really looking forward to the Drop system, but...it works. As much as I'd love to move on to The Grid, I know better. I'll be hitting La Cité des Cloches tomorrow.

Yeah i forgot about that but still i wish it was in more games.... and i wish they would have the people from the island in the next game i mean i think the only 3 games we see them in is KH 1, KH 2 and KH re:coded
The drop system, why is it there? I haven't gotten to it yet, but I can't see how this is a good idea. What if I'm near the end of a hard boss fight and then POOF switch characters! I'd be freaking pissed! And then its pointless because can't you just switch back to the past character in an instant? And then the boss is at full health now is it not? Bad, just bad.

There is an item in the game with extends your time as one character and is pretty cheap to upkeep.
I literally played two whole worlds as Sora before deciding to let the game switch back to Riku! XD
Can you explain about the character switching in the game i want to know how it works and if its good
Basically, you play as Sora for a while to start, then it auto switches between Sora and Riku a couple of times.
Then the game makes it so when you play as a character, you are on a timer.
A bar depletes over time, and at the last 30 seconds it goes into "Bonus Time" which gives you some bonuses.
Then when it all times out, you switch to the other character and the bar resets.
Using the Drop-me-not items extend that bar for a period of time so as long as you have them you can remain as one character indefinately.
Both characters level seperately.
When you DO drop though, it gives you point that go towards upgrades you can buy before you drop into the other character. The rest gets converted to money.
(and characters share Dream eaters. Don't forget that point!)
The main upgrade system though is in the Dream-eaters.
Make as many different ones as you can at high grades, and you get lots of different paths to develop, which gives you spells, abilities and stat boosts.
Petting a Dream eater gives them a boost in happiness and ability points to spend, and exp.
But it can also change their personality, which is good because it can unlock extra paths in their ability chains, further boosting characters capabilities.

Thank you that was driving me nuts looking for it!
Thanks again! I couldn't remember hearing that in past playthoughs.
