I'm maxing out my budget for X-mas presents now... not particularly likely to invest in so many games until I see some X-mas money (from relatives, not my job ). And I'm not too fond of the Dark Eye, I really am not. But we'll see, we'll see!
The weekend deal (Yeah, I'm surprised there's one too) this week is the entire Anuman collection. Check out stuff like Syberia, Atlantis or the Megarace franchise for 60% off the normal price.
Aww, did I forget to put in the link? Dang... well, it was bound to happen sooner or later.
Well, to make up for it, please help GOG test download speeds. If you don't want to do it to help GOG become a better service, then do it because each time you run the test, which only takes a couple of minutes of your time, you have a chance to get a free copy of Realms of Arkania 3.
And, once again, I find myself asking for this. Please go watch this video, and follow the GOG link in the description to vote for it, if you haven't already.
I actually bought it today (instead of Satinav's Chains, hehe). And while it's 50% off, it's definitely worth it! Crazy little physics jump'n'run. Ever since the elephant level, it has a huge sympathy bonus from me as well.
Looks like there's loads of levels for this. I'm only in the forest...
Surprise, monday release! You thought you had to wait until January, but nope, Oddword: Stranger's Wrath HD is available NOW for $9.99. This replaces the original Stranger's Wrath, so if you already own it, no need to buy it again!
Edit: Also worth mentioning that the original version is still available as a goodie for the HD version.
If you thought yesterday's release would take away from today's releases, you'd be half-right! Today's new release is Double Fine's Stacking for the launch price of $9.99. However, SURPRISE, bonus re-release. Get Hostile Waters: Antaeus Rising, with a new soundtrack, for $5.99.
2011 was a pretty lame gaming year for me because of DRM principles... but it keeps getting better. Carry on, GOG!
Looking forward to Trine 2 now, still hoping for Trackmania Original and quite a lot of games which would have their original release on gog, while CDPR's Cyberpunk 2077 is still far off on the horizon.
Well, when they're not reducing the price in the first two days of availability, they normally take quite some time for another temporary reduction to take place. But I assume I'll have plenty of games to play in the meantime. Stranger's Wrath for one, and I think I'll return to Snapshot also.
Today, GOG brings us the first of four new Interplay titles. You can get classic racer Screamer 2 for only $5.99. Also, because I haven't said it yet today, SURPRISE, Mac release! 12 games have received Mac compatability, and you can read about them here.
Edit: Am I seriously the only one posting in this thread now? *sigh* Well, I'm going to try and figure something out. Until then, UN-SURPRISE, normal sale! 60% off everything put out by Nordic Games, except Book of Unwritten Tales, which is only 33% off.
No, you're not the only one posting here Gibbey. It's just that you get in there before people like me, who tend to rely on GOG's newsletter. And you, of course.
In cased you missed it in Gibbey's last post, Nordic Games are having a massive sale, with all their games being up to 60% off. Includes some Gothic games, the Spellforce series, and the first (and best) Painkiller. Some good deals.

Well, this was more of a complaint that I was getting into the territory of quadruple-posting there.
I have just completed The Book of Unwritten Tales and must say that it was a fantastic game!! I would recommend to anybody who likes old LucasArts games.
Got a big haul from GOG coming in today, so let's get right down to it. Primordia is now live, and has a launch week sale price of $8.99 for people who didn't pre-order. Next up, we have The Book of Unwritten Tales: The Critter Chronicles for a launch price of $15.99. And for our Gem Promo, we have FTL: Faster Than Light, acclaimed "Oregon Trail in Space" game for $5.99.
Time to take a Myst-ical adventure of the ages. The weekend promo is 60% off Myst-related titles, and The Manhole.
Edit: Also, after watching This Week on GOG (which I should probably start linking in the event no one wants to read me ramble on), it should be worth pointing out that the winter sale starts next week. So, likely no releases next week, but a free game on the horizon.
Just a heads up, the (Insert Holiday Name Here) sale starts tomorrow. In the meantime, check out GOG's caption contest for a chance to win free games! It also sounds like more contests are on the way through social media outlets.
Alrighty, it's sale time. Massive, sweeping storewide sales on almost everything, from 25% (stupid FTL, not going on sale for 5 bucks like I wanted it to) to 50% off. Also, massive sales on daily bundles, with today's bundle being 50%-75% off Bullfrog Favorites. ALSO, for the next 48 hours, Duke Nukem 3D costs a record low $0.00. Be sure to buy it at this low low price.
Games not included in the sale are: Baldur's Gate (Gee, I wonder why), Baldur's Gate 2, Hotline Miami, Deponia 2, Primordia, Miasmata, The Book of Unwritten Taels: The Critter Chronicles, and Eador: Genesis.

If you own it, then Stranger's Wrath HD will replace the version on your shelf.
Yes. Because I've been waiting for the HD update BEFORE I bought Stranger's Wrath at all. Ah, the perks of patience.
But alas, more patience is needed. The day's over, and the second half of the download will have to do tomorrow.

Shouldn't take too long. Also I love the game.
Edit: Surprise, midweek release! Get Miasmata, some kind of survival horror game, for the launch week price of $13.49.

...wait. That's a good thing. Carry on!
There is a reason.
Well, there is still no reason to say 'no' to Populous (especially Populous: The Beginning, which is made of pure awesome)
Thank you Father GOGmas!
