I expect if all previous choices are carried over then it will take longer and longer to design each episode. I'm willing to wait, I don't want the Mass Effect treatment.
i hope for the sake of all console players its midweek :P that way i can still visit the forums and not have to ignore most of the active discussions for fear of spoilers before i get my grubby mits on it!
I'm a literal person. If they don't say exactly what they should say, there is ALWAYS wiggle room.
So basically you have no point at all and are just judging using your own personal opinion, while choosing to ignore what was actually shown/told to the consumers...
Spite sounds so mean, more like i want to enjoy thenfruits of TTG labour as one big happy collective whole, sharing in the story and decisions presented to us, enjoying the discussions after.... Honest :-)
You will observe the wiki fail, fail, fail aaaaand fail in their release date guesses. We're far better guessers here, and even we might be a bit off this time.
I predict that The Walking Dead Episode 2 will be released when it's ready and possibly without an announced date till it's actually out. I'd love to just wake up one morning checking the new Addons in XBLA marketplace and see Episode 2 Starved for Help waiting

while that would be a wonderful surprise, why do you think they would do that?
About a week ago i posted a thread about information I found on walking dead wiki. it said there would be delays and episode 2 was being pushed back to june 24th... this was apparently refuted.
I'm working on the game and I haven't heard June 24th. For all I know the wiki is right, but if they are it's beacuse they guessed it. When there is a date confirmed, we will announce it. Until then, anything you hear is, genuinely, an unsubstantiated rumor.
Yay, Jake! I am keeping myself busy with Sorcery, but I am still checking the forums every other day it seems. That first episode must have done something right. Here's hoping for a smoother release.

Wow, this leads me to a very important question: Will you be my friend?
If yes, you should tell your friends when the game will be released. Friend's gotta share...
When people are forced to wait they begin to see all the flaws in a game under a microscope. When games are rushed however they have even more flaws. Remember a Rushed Job is a Suck Job and noone here want's a Suck Job

Thank you for taking the time to reply to my most and let me say the game has been amazing up until this point. I am extremely excited to see what's to come for Lee and crew. May I ask though, since you're working on the game, why was the second episode delayed? I understand there have been no official release dates, but according to the FAQ it states that episodes would be delivered monthly.
I was reading through this thread hoping to find out when episode 2 would arrive and began wondering about Telltale's development cycle. Do they get one episode up and running and base the release off that and hope to throw the rest together? I'm sure at least parts of all are complete, just not completely refined or tested. Some of their games seem to point to this, Like Jurassic Park, where the first ep was at least ok and it became near unplayable after, or Back to the Future which I loved but 2-5 didn't blow me away like 1.
Either way can't wait to play the rest of Walking Dead.
Personally I thought the 24th of May exactly 1 month after the first episodic was released. I know it is Telltale's style but I really wish they would speed things up or at least release on the same date every month so we know what to expect, I don't mind having to wait, but I can't help but find myself getting a little impatient.
im gonna hunt you down and play venga boys at you for hours on end!

You're right... maybe this should be put into an FAQ of sorts. Telltale has its own engine, so that's there before episode one of a Season releases. Nowadays, they also have a launcher that is ready to integrate the other episodes when they're out. But they also do NOT start worrying about "starting with" episode 2 only after they released number 1, and that is unfortunately often misunderstood on these forums.
The designers come up with a story arc. A lot of points are fixed on this arc, while there's wiggle room in other parts. Then individual episodes get assigned to individual designers, who schedule the steps towards release sequentially. When episode 1 releases, the scripts for episode 2 and 3 are probably pretty much finished; voice over work for these episodes could also be in the final stages; the environmental models are also already mostly done for episode 2 (as was evident from the preview at the end of episode 1!), and the programmers are very busy getting those for episode 3 to 5 ready, and so on.

Seriously, no reason to jump at each other's throat here. We're all waiting eagerly in this forum, so please.
I Answered the Questions to describe Clementine and she was there. ALREADY
