Searched Yahoo for Walking Dead Episode 2 Release date' a couple weeks ago. One of the sites told me May 30th. Ran the same search yesterday for what ever reason and some one posted on Youtube that it was the 29th. Now at the 29th and with no release I'm back to believing what I first read about the 30th. So tomorrow around 3 pm I'm gonna turn on that game and hopefully not have my heart broken. At the end of May 31st if 'TTG' doesnt have our zombies I'm never gonna get another game from them and HOPEFULLY before the time gta V hits this fall I may look and see if it had come out finally. But if not I'm not into being lied to hunny I'm gonna move on. Fun while it lasted.
They already said the release will be on June.
I wish that tomorrow would be a surprise and they release episode 2 but I don't think so, sincerely.
WTF!? Telltale really effing sucks. Jurassic Park was on of the most buggy games I've ever played... now we can't even get a confirmed release date for The Walking Dead Episode 2... Instead we get to play the guessing game... Epic Effing Fail. Last Telltale game I will ever waste my money on. At least TWD isn't super buggy...
if you read this topic and others on the forum you will see the episode comes out in june and will be released when it's ready...if ttg actually caved in to these petty insults and gave us ep2 it would be full of bugs and probably not optimized, so you'd still complain...give em a freaking break!!
Last Telltale game I will ever waste my money on. At least TWD isn't super buggy...
so you say jurassic park was crap yet you bought twd ? and twd is not super buggy because they got it right and that is why ep2 is not out yet... sheesh..
In case you didn't know there's a million or so other people in the EXACT SAME position are they all moaning ? Nooooooooo
your wasting your breath tring to get a date they dont care, the slack approach to keeping some sort of timline has put me right off ttg, ask a fair question get yelled at
You have no idea how much work and stress goes into creating a game. Besides, what's the rush? Don't tell me you're so bored that you need it right this instant. Watch a movie instead

When you ask a "fair question" 61 nauseating times in a row, you could well expect some yellin'.
I first will say I loved the first episode, impressed very much by the replayability even, I am not here to berate belittle, bash, complain at nor am I here to troll or pick other players brains(especially the cry babies I see on a lot of the forums on most game sites I visit). This being said and hopefully clear I would like to POLITELY ask telltale games, Please, I would like atleast a general area of when I can expect an episode 2, I so do understand inconveniences whether technical or what ever the case may be for a delay. I just get so bummed out everytime I open my WD and gp to the episode list and still see "comeing soon" on availability.... . If I had a date(regardless of reason and excuse I understand and do not need details or excuses it's cool) if we all had a date to start checking for the release even you know with in a day or so parameters it would be way less heart wrenching every time we open our game browser.
Sincerly, Quite possibly a brand new diehard telltale fan

It's no longer a "fair question" if you ask it too many times.

You have got to take a chill pill. This is the way things are always done.
A release date is never given until they are sure that they can make the date.
Delays have happened in the past.
So you consider this money wasted because you are too impatient to wait? Nice logic you have got there.
The way I see it they should never have predicted a monthly release rate before even starting on the latter episodes. There's always complications that will delay a release unless the team gets rushed by greedy sponsors, companies or owners (see the differences between Settlers 4 and Settlers 5, Gothic 2 and Gothic 3 or Age of Empires 3 and Age of Empires online as examples of what that causes), and a lot of people will always see a prediction, no matter how vague, as a binding release date, and consider it their right to be pissed when it doesn't come true.
Come on this waiting to get the next part of the game is b/s !!!!! Don't get me wrong I love the show and game but come on what takes so long ????? We all know the game is done and you all had no problem taking my money . I just want them to come out with the damn game comming soon is not good enough . Even with the show it came on once a week wtf
The game is NOT done and I don't know how anybody here can assume this with absolutely NO insight in TTG. You all really should calm down. It was mentioned before that TWD is nearly bug free and this maybe because they had enough time for testing the end result. Would you really like an incomplete and buggy product rather than to wait a few weeks more? I assume you people have real lives and other hobbys, too - so plenty to do to fill the time between. I really don't understand the big problem - at least now you know that ist will come out in June. So everythings all right for me.
Sadly it feels like people are getting a little bit tetchy waiting. I hope Telltale get a move on (but just because I want it, not because I'm getting moody).
Although I am happy to wait and it is tricky to release an episode monthly I can understand. But by now they should be able to confirm a date since it is over a month now. At least an estimated date would be nice.
I was hoping that the playing dead episode would tell us when.
well the two current theories about why ep2 isn't out are
1. ttg have taken there standard two month break after ep1 to polish off ep2 possibly other eps to guarantee a monthly release of the following episodes.
2. they had planned on releasing ep2 at the end of may but they hit a problem/bug/code issue or some story aspect the testers didn't like and are changing it to make the game better.
hopefully ttg will learn from this and take appropriate action to stick with what they say in an faq for future releases.
How trolling their consumers: Take a hit series, develop less than half of a game and provide you with the promise of releasing monthly episodes and fails to fulfill its promise.
a hint: change the name of the company, the telltale will never take my money, in my subconscious that your names are written as: Trolltale

I'm not one to be able to give much in the way of business advice but I do think, given the feeling in this forum that time is right to break the silence and at least try to announce a release date.
I guess it may be better to stay silent and not miss a release date but it's a fine balance with increasingly pee'd off fans and I can guess a growing disappearance from the consciousness of casuals.
People are pissing off because Telltale don't have told to customers nothing about this delay... only announced June at the end of a trailer a couple weeks ago.
It's not because of the delay (for myself, at least), it's because the lack of information about the delay. This is not a "monthly release" anymore, Telltale don't say anything and people feel cheated... which i'ts normal, in my opinion.
I hope the new episode will be released next week. I prefer a small delay than a big one.

You're absolutely right, This is not a "monthly release" anymore!
why evryone is asking question to ppl tat doesnt even answer or even read those effing messages , lol.but really im just mad of ttg for taking us for granted & its fking taking forever .the 2nd episode takes more than a month to make & im sure will take 2 or 3 hours to go through then we'll all wayt again another fking month wooo oooo tats a fun story adventure game guys .lol its a joke ttg team, think!!!!!!!
I love that this game is "monthly". I get to anticipate it a month after playing the first episode, then I get to wait another week or two. (prob a month) They seemed to have had it completed...but...Im now wondering why all the gameplay footage we saw was from the first episode. My guess is that they were under pressure to build the hype before the next TV season started so i doubt the game is finished. Now their months have turned into 6 or more weeks. wtf?

We dont know its coming out in June. We know thats what they are saying. We also knew this was going to be monthly. Guess what. They lied about that too. Theres not even a definite date on a series they have already started. Maybe they should have not put out ep 1 if they were not finished with the game. I dont mind game delays...look at Diablo 3. lol. But they did the dirtiest thing ever. They sold season passes to PC owners who may never play more than the 1st ep. Im playing on Xbox and luckily can only but one at a time. I may pick the next 4 up in a few years if they are out by then, but after coming to this forum, Im no longer interested in the product. This has also been my first experience with Telltale and also my last. Thank god it only cost me 5 bucks to learn this. There are a lot of better games coming out people. Save that next 20 bucks for a company that wont lie to you.
I understand everyone's " Don't complain. Just wait! They had problems." But the thing about it is. They already have our money, if you bought the season pass. So why would they care when they released it? They don't need you anymore. They can take all the time they want. The first episode sold what, a million copies or something like that? They are doing just fine now.
It doesn't matter what they told everyone. It doesn't matter that everyone has already waited a month after playing a two hour game. Which right now that is how it stands. I spent more money than the first episode is worth.
And of course people could say " Get your money back" or what ever else and tell me to stop playing the game. Is that suppose to be okay? Oh! So he is screwing with you! Well you may not be able to get this any where else, so you can suck it up or leave. I'm sorry if I do not fully understand why that mindset is okay.
Telltale games has had problems before with their release dates, from what I was told. And I was uncertain of even bothering with this because of that. I didn't trust them. And it really sucks to find out my distrust wasn't impractical.
I don't care if they DO have outside lives. This is their job! JOB! For those who work in an office or perhaps go to school. Do you get any sympathy for your tardiness? No. Not usually. So why is it okay?
I may be crying and whining, but this seems to happen a lot from companies these days. Can I really be the only person who doesn't want to be pushed around or taken advantage of? Perhaps the bad experiences I have dealt with from gaming companies these past two years has me sensitive to the subject.
But if you are uncertain about making a deadline or if you will be able to do what you wish. Do not tell us it is going to be monthly and then when the time comes around expect everyone to wait a few more weeks.
At least SAY something more. Give us some kind of comfort. We give them OUR hard earned money. For some of us spending 20 dollars on a game pushes away from paying other things that probably should be paid first. Shouldn't we at least get service worth a crap?

My plan is just to watch the game on youtube when released, if I remember I've invested in other games now and like you I only bought Episode 1... Happy days :-D
does ttg team ever answer or its like talking to a wall??
Depends on which direction you're talking in these forums. Hey, look this way! You're actually talking to the community here, you just didn't recognize it because you're facing the wall.

now i have to find the episode they say it in lol
the poll was limited to that many dates and was posted before we knew it was going to be 'june'
if ttg answered EVERY bitch and moan the episodes would take longer to be released... be patient it will be released when it's ready.
