Did people complain this bad on previous TT releases, or is this mostly people that have never heard of telltale before but like the walking dead TV show (which sucks, and if you like it, you are probably a stupid moron that likes watching stupid moron characters do stupid moronic things) and they have nothing to do in between seasons?
seriously...who gets this upset over the release date of a video game? I check this forum from time to time to see if there is any news about when it it being released and mostly what i see is a bunch of whining. I've been waiting since 2005 for a walking dead video game, then in April of 2011 i heard telltale was actually making one, then i had to wait another year until i got my first taste...now i have to wait two months to play the next episode? yea cool, fine by me, i bet i will enjoy it, maybe in the meantime i will do something else.
. I mean, christ on a crutch, how do people deal with the Doctor Who delay that happened this year? Do they call up the BBC and hand them death threats? Its bordering on the absurd.
Do you *know* any Doctor Who fans? Those guys go beyond religious fanaticism! They probably marched on the offices with torches and pitchforks!
Meaning yeah, I imagine they were pissed and posted a bunch on forums about it. Even if they hadn't pre-bought the bloody thing before it aired, which is mostly why the folks posting here are pissed.
And you know what else? Maybe it is the whole adventure game demographic thing, but really even the angriest person who I've seen posting here has been pretty mild compared to Blizzard's or Bioware's forums when something is late or broken. So be thankful for that.
But I've got an idea. I suggest the mods here just continue to combine all the "where the hell is the game I paid for" threads into one, and everybody who is tired of reading "where the hell is the game I paid for" just stay out of that thread. Simple right? Because if this is bothering you now, you really aren't going to like the next few weeks if the next episode doesn't drop real soon.
And lastly, HelloCthulhu, do you have anything to do with the webcomic of the same name, or are you just a fan? Off topic I know, but that was a seriously funny concept that I wish the creator had continued. Now I gotta go find them again and reread them...
Doctor Who was delayed? I like the show but you generally accept that you get a few episodes a holiday special then it's gone for a while. Is there supposed to be an actual schedule?

To be fair, Blizzard is REALLY bad when it comes to delivering things on time. TTG's rather minor delay would be Blizzard's way of being "way ahead of schedule".
But the biggest delay of them all? Duke Nuke'em forever. People can't really complain when compared to THAT delay. Now that was ridiculous.
around the time tennant left there was a report/rumour that they where going to stretch out the 'seasons' to one a year and a special at xmas.
i remember it so bbc actually did say it..
duke nukem 4eva was basically scrapped / put on hold for a while and cos of the credit crunch and so the devs could do 'borderlands' i think ? probably other games..
then again we have valve pushing back releases (portal 2) and no info on ep3/hl3

This is all anonymous I take it? Then I'll whisper that I am a huge Who fan, mainly the old series, but I watch all the new episodes too. I often pop along to 'Gallifrey Base' a pretty big forum, I can report there are not really any angry/mental posts about the delayed season 7, the split season 6, or the spreading of season 4 over 4 specials, but then the producer and the BBC keep the fans well informed of production schedules and the reasons behind the decisions. It doesn't stop fans speculating beyond those reasons, but they do accept schedule changes without attacking the show or BBC.
This is my first experience with episodic gaming, and I have to say that I like it. It's almost like waiting for a new comic book to come out. TWD was also my first TT game, I have to say I like that as well. It was like reading a living comic book, only I got to have some choice in the matter. Anyway, just wanted to say hi and good job, can't wait for ep 2.

I've been a Blizz fan for years.. They're not THAT bad at delivering things on time.. and atleast when something is late or whatever they keep their customers in-the-know. From my experience, Blizz seems to really care about their customers.
The waiting I don't mind.. it's the lack of communication that gets my panties in a bunch! lol
That's the point here. And something worringly from Telltale.
I can definitely relate to this statement. It doesn't rise anger from me, but worry for the future of telltale. The silence is goddamn disturbing. Is it something to start nerd raging over? No, it's the first time its happened. If it becomes a trend I might even stop giving my money, but I won't be making it a grandiose statement.
Interestingly, I was thinking about what happens if one of you tree house club guys wins today and had expected exactly that wish. Then I thought: Couldn't Clementine sit on a zombie instead, lost in thought?
June 26th. 360 releases usually come on Tuesdays...
episode 1 came out on Thursday the 27th so i don't think they release on certain days i think when they have it it will get released regardless of the day except for the weekends of course:)
Did people complain this bad on previous TT releases, or is this mostly people that have never heard of telltale before....
The only thing that I think came close was with "JP". It was very close to the release date time frame that they announced the delay, after an unusual period of silence from the TTG team and there were a lot of people up in arms over that.
Other than that - it was announced at the beginning of "BTTF" that there would be a 2 month gap between episode 1 & 2, so that wasn't too bad - and I don't remember any issues with "Sam & Max", "Strong Bad" or "Monkey Island".
The fact that the previews are blaming / stating the delay on certification issues is what bums me out with this, because that generally indicates either Mircosoft or Sony are holding it up - and as I'm getting it through the PC, I tend to get a bit selfish and say "Well, why should I have to wait?". Either way, June finishes next week, so it should be sooner rather than later....
Well, Since it seems that we will never get a episode 2 and I would like to continue to play some games. Who has a suggestion for my next TTG Episodic adventure? I have already finished BTTF.......

Hey guys, come up with ideas already!
