I'm not trying to turn this into a LR thread, but as my favorite videogame of all time, and self-proclaimed perfect adventure game...I can't really raise a bar higher than LeChuck's Revenge in terms of writing, humor, art, animation, difficulty, and fun.
But I definitely understand why someone could hate the game: I used to.
You seem to be testing TWD an awful lot lately. 180 hours in total. I'm a bit shocked.
When working on the game, the Telltale Tool is connected to Steamworks, so it logs me as "playing it." I'm actually just in the development environment (which is up on my screen all the time and usually let running overnight). OR I'm playing the game FOREVER.
There is one thing that I TRULY hate about LR. The monkey wrench puzzle. And I'm somewhat conflicted on the ending, but overall, I adore LR and it's got my favourite version of the MI theme (Which sounds so much more awesome with real instruments in SE!)
Hmm, I actually thought that The Witcher 2 is massively overrated. It was mediocre, I couldn't get immersed in the story, and I didn't enjoy the gameplay. In addition, it took up a ridiculous amount of space. I can't deal with having games that big, I need space to record for videos.
Also it felt kinda console-y. Which is incredibly worrying considering it was a PC exclusive until recently. I'd probably prefer a console version of it honestly.
So in my opinion, The Witcher 2 deserves to be forgotten.
I would add Curse of Monkey Island instead. Not that I hate the game per se, I enjoyed it, but still...
Nope. Sorry Curse always gets a special place in the series for me. I'd rather forget about Escape from Monkey Island and it's lame Swamp puzzles and Monkey Kombat.
Yes it's true, I made myself the epitome of bad taste in this thread. Still don't like it
Hey, some people like the Halo games and the Call of Duty games, whereas I think those games are boring piles of crap without a shred of originality. To each their own.
Well, the thread is for games that deserved to be forgotten. Those aren't really popular and didn't even really make enough of an impression to be remembered to be forgotten.

It has left an impression on everybody who has a youtube account.
A game which took me 3 hours to complete but felt more like 15 hours (15 horrible, repetitive, boring hours of tedium). However, seeming as I'm the only sucker who actually purchased a copy (at full price), I guess it's a game that nobody else is even aware of, much less needs to forget about; nonetheless, screw this game!
... Actually, to be serious for a moment; I don't really believe that any game should be genuinely be forgotten about or even hated for that matter. Disliked; sure but hated; no. We're all so fucking lucky to live in a world and time where video-games even exist! I'm far too grateful for every incredible moment of gameplay to be truly angry at a less than stellar title.
Sincerely, I'm forever consciously aware of how absolutely amazing video-games truly are as I'm playing them and as such I'm always able to enjoy them to some extent, no matter how "poor" they are. This is especially true as technology improves, resulting in ever more complex, intricate and graphically immersive games. The "bad" games of today would have blown our ungrateful minds, had we been able to sample them 15 years ago.
No, society (both online and not) must remember its poor choices throughout history, and learn from its mistakes. Let Farmville stand as a reminder of how one can be inveigled into wasting their time and (in extreme cases) their money by saccharine visuals and the lure of constantly achievable but pointless milestones.
Farmsville's fun until you start needing cash to continue like most zygna games...
Either cash or 500 Facebook friends that also play the game...
On the plus side, Farmville is one of the few Zynga games that allows you to have Farmville friends that aren't your Facebook friends. It actually makes the game playable without having to friend a bunch of people on Facebook that you don't know. I have no idea why Zynga doesn't do this with all of their Facebook games.
If you can't tell, I'm being intentionally ridiculous.
Well, I haven't played that one but I did play 'Arkham Asylum' and consider it to be overrated, generic tosh. I'm not being intentionally ridiculous. I'd go as far as to say that 'Arkham Asylum' is as overrated as the 'Call of Duty' games but just because it's got 'Batman' plastered on it, suddenly it's genius?! Then again, I think that Nolan's po-faced 'Batman' films are grossly overrated, so what do I know?

Just sayin' it could end up as petty insults and "my game could beat up your game anyday".
I'd want pictures of that. Game DVDs can make mean scratches to each other if you don't separate those brawlers in time.
No, it'll be fine. Besides if anyone disagrees with what I think, my Dad'll beat up their Dad.
You're not going anywhere until I'm done murdering you.
Portal 2 is garage!
That's just wrong.

Damn. Would've been better if that guy had 3,000 posts instead of 3.
That's what I was thinking.
Do I need to go into detail? Do I?
Linking to these videos might have helped though.
I like the first two, and Hotel Mario, but not Zelda's Adventure.
Weeeeelll... sooner or later, someone just HAD to name something I really liked.
(unfortunately, Guru already did. And Daishi, oh god, Daishi)
I'll give you the monkey wrench puzzle. That was pretty weak.

I couldn't agree with anything more strongly.

I think we can all agree on this one.

I would do that.
I agree on WWE Crush Hour, Bubsy, Sonic Heroes, Silent Hill Downpour and Star Fox Assault though.
As for Fallout 3, Sam and Max and Portal and Portal 2, you guys can't be serious.
Tell you what, here's my suggestion;
