Actually we already payed for all 5 episodes, when we bought season pass
I was only talking about the people who didn't buy the season pass, complained about how poor telltale are (I don't disagree) How bad they treat their costumers etc but then still bought the game lol
You season pass guys, I feel sorry for you and since you have already bought it no point in not playing episode 2 when it comes out. :-)
I dont know if this has been asked before. But I have a few questions.
Did you guys learn anything about incremential releases of a game while you worked on the back to the future game?
If yes, when do you guys intend on implementing that newly aqurired knowlegde on to your current project?
I bought this game april the 24th(so much for one episode a month) and I have yet to see the 2. episode. You might have guessed that I live in Europe, good on you.
Still I can not begin to comprehend why on earth we should have to wait any longer. If you know that you have to jump through hoops to get the new episode released, well you should preparring for that a bit sooner. You have tried this stuff before, dont you guys document these things for future reference?
TL : DR
Yes I am upset that telltale can't release the 2nd episode. And yes I do think that someone on telltale's part have dropped the ball on the release plan. And yes I am going to play all the rest episodes, cus I already payed for them.

A well thought out complaint but do I think Telltale will answer you... no :-(

Thanks, I really hate making a negative post, but I really just want to play the game. I love the art work and I can see that they have put alot of effort into giving the game that twd felling. I like(most of) the characters and the voice acting.
They can and should be proud of the product they are putting out. Its just that, it isn't out there, yet.
I hope we get it this week! Since we will be the last to play it, the stats at the end of the game will be more accurate.
Not quite the last to play it.
Remember they didn't bother to submit it for console classification in Australia. So NZ misses out too.
Although having said that. Although I'm pissed that I can't buy it without doing out of region work arounds (piracy for want of a better word), at least I haven't paid for a delayed buggy game.
TTG has taken a lot of heavy flak, perhaps unfairly, but they are but the latest in a series of game developers that has or is treating the EU community with utter silence when it comes release dates of certain products. It is not just that they are bad at communicating, theres is basically no communication from TTG.
Other companies are The Behemot and the Pink Knight for PSN EU, Trendy Entertainment and Dungeon Defenders and Bethesda and the Dawnguard DLC and patch 1.6. TTG is not the worst, but they are just as bad, and are now gettin hit by the cummulative anger of the PS3 EU community.
SCEE does have a certain responsibility in the delays, but when it comes to both The Behemoth and Trendy Entertainment for months they and SCEE were blaming each other, leaving us EU gamers hanging, and I'm starting to get the same vibrations about Episode 2 from TTG. I just hope that I'm wrong since I enjoyed episode 1 very much.
If the delay is caused by bugs in E.2, why not tell us so? I'd rather wait for a complete product instead of getting a broken game early, but I'd like to be told what's going on.
Exactly, you hit the nail right on the head.
That's what pushes me towards blaming TT rather than Sony in this circumstance. Its very easy for TT to just point the finger at Sony and whinge about certification and the hoops they have to jump through as a small, downtrodden developer, but if this is the case, why do the majority of PSN releases make their way to both NA and EU stores simultaneously? I dont think many people will question that EU PSN is more difficult than the NA, but most devs seem to factor in this difficulty. Fact is, TT are NOT a first-time dev to the PSN store, they are just a BAD developer with pisspoor PR skills and a lazy attitude to their customers, one that has been embolden by the fact that they've already swindled a lot of us out of £15 through the season pass.
If they actually "cared" about good PR and cultivating customer loyalty, they would be giving us regular updates much like Frozenbyte did when Trine 2 had issues with its EU release. Hell, they released an apology video AND a 30% discount when it did finally get through to the EU PSN. Will we see something like that from TT? Ha! Bloody likely!
TL;DR Dont get sucked in by small TT - big Sony finger pointing, other devs have blamed and subsequently dropped support for EU, Sony not always to blame. Frozenbyte are an example of what TT should be doing right now.
If we're all patient and come back in a year maybe they'll have released episode 2, they might have even got episode 3 out by then too!
First and last psn season pass I've bought guess you live and learn
I am Telltale's reckoning. Their punishment must be more severe...
Seriously though, this is getting ridiculous. Why aren't they replying to any of these complaints? I normally don't whine over the internet, I rather do it in person, but Telltale is really starting to piss me off now. The way they're handling this whole situation is just idiotic. Don't they have a PR or customer service department? What the hell are those people doing? Probably playing episode 3 with the department of release dates.
Yesterday I stated I don't want a refund, but I'm changing my mind. I want my money back, even if it finally gets released tomorrow, which is already a month late. "Monthly episodes"...I just checked, the last time I played season 1 was on the 24th of april. In 20 days that will have been 3 months. 3 months Telltale. Shame on you.
First of that's false advertising, which is illegal (in Europe anyway). Monthly episodes my ass. Second of all, blaming Sony is just insane and plain dumb, and I hope Sony will strike back at you for that. Did I give Sony 20 euro's for a game they supposedly made? No, I gave you my money, so you're the one who's going to have to pay me back. PSN EU has had loads of updates on other dates than wednesday before. And even if they didn't, you guys should have known that and should have thought about it before releasing it on every other platform. I've already read a ton of spoilers by accident (just roaming this forum or IGN is enough), and frankly I don't give a crap about episode 2 anymore. Just give me my money back you bastards.
All this could have been so easily avoided by sending 1 message consisting of 1 little sentence out to the world "We're sorry, we made a mistake, the EU release will be this wednesday, it won't happen again". But I guess you left your apology in your other pants.
Guybrush: At least I’ve learnt something from all of this. Elaine: What’s that? Guybrush: Never pay more than 20 bucks for a computer game. Elaine: A what? Guybrush: I don't know. I have no idea why I said that.
Gets me angry also that when the Americans didn't have the game and it was late for them, they took notice. Now that they have the game they don't seem to care as long as they have a copy.
Sony EU - It's telltales fault not us...
Well according to Sony it's Telltale's fault.
People have been asking on the official PS Blog and these are the responses:
(WHY NO WALKING DEAD! "Telltale games are your best bet…")
(WHERES WALKING DEAD! "It’s not out for EU this week. Please contact Telltale games for any information.")
(AMERICA HAS WALKING DEAD! "That should have been the plan, alas it isn’t. This is to do with Telltales so please chase them.")
First time buying from telltale, i will now gladly say it will also be the last time buying from telltale games. Bought a season pass with hopes of recieving episodes monthly - as they stated- they're 2 months late (annoyed). Finally we receive a release date but as it turns out, its only for NA PSN users (extremely annoyed) and to make things worse, they keep EU users in the dark not telling us anything worth a damn. Telltale if you read this by any chance, you will never see me buy a game from you guys again, you ripped me off once, you wont do it again.
Silence and censorship. Gotta love TT's attitude. The guy removed *everything* even though it was a legitimate and calm post and still you delete a couple pages of this thread. Its your website but have fun with that PR tactic....
Someone removed a few pages? Why would they do that? Is it true that the PSN updates tommorow?
Ill no doubt be silenced so ill keep it vague, a guy posted the twitter account for TT's PR guy and then got a warning for "offensive language" (which he also posted) All he did was post publically available infomation and with no inflammatory slant, merely "maybe he'll have some answers".
Rest of us say "typical TT" and then everything gets wiped.
As for PSN, it does update tomorrow, though considering the silence from TT i doubt we'll get anything. They're too busy putting up shiny banners on their front page saying EP2 is out now and how brilliant it is.

I broke down last week and bought it on the xbox, I couldn't play it since it was freezing buggy etc. I must prefer the PS3, it seems to work better there.
I just hope it's coming soon with some sort of compensation for us (Not Likely) sometimes I wish I lived in the USA, I feel second class as a UK resident with games.
Just recieved an email from uk psn support. "there is no sign of walking dead this week, ask telltale about it. "
excellent. supreme customer service from telltale i must say. if its not out tomorrow i want a refund of my season pass and i'll pay as i go, no melodrama but i payed for a season pass for monthly releases. i feel like ive hired a sh***y builder and he's done foundation been paid for the whole job and fu**ed off.
