If anyone living in San Rafael, California is reading this, could you do me a favour and go and lob a brick through the Telltale Office windows (if they have them). Cheers in advance.

Well looks like we wont be able to play today. This is beyond ridiculous now. Lets not fight among each other, and lets not fight with Vainamoinen, he's the moderator of this forum and only tries to help us, he's not the enemy.

What we must do is unite and make sure the bastards don't get away with this. I'm fed up and I want my money back. This is pure false advertisement: "monthly episodes". There are laws against that. Even if Xbox and PSN US users already got to play season 2, it was still a month late so they got screwed as well, just not as much as us. I for one swear I will never buy any games from them ever again and I'm advising everybody I know in real life to do the same. Small companies like Telltale thrive on mouth to mouth advertising, they screwed that up all over Europe big time now. To be absolutely clear, this has nothing to do with Sony. Sony didn't take my money and then went back on our purchase agreement, Telltale did. If I buy a jar of Nutella at a store and I get home and it turns out the store clerk forgot to put the jar in my bag, I'm not going to call up Nutella to ask for my jar or a refund.

At this point we're all individuals to them, so they don't care. We're ants, a couple of complainers who won't do anything anyway. Most of their customers are semi happy because they finally got to play season 2 and will forgot about the false "monthly episodes" promise untill the same problem occurs with season 3. But if we unite we can get those nerfherders right where it hurts, their wallet. There are more people in Europe who aren't able to play the game they paid for almost 3 months ago then there are in the US who finally got to play a month to late. There are literally thousands of us, so lets say if 10.000 of us unite and ask for a refund, that will cost them 200.000$, a small company like Telltale will definitely feel that. It's also pretty easy to accomplish a petition like that through facebook and other social media sites these days. If everybody on this forum alone finds 10 people we're already set.

The thing that pisses me off most about all of this is their total lack of communication. I'm pretty sure they're not reading any of these comments on this forum, which is fine of course. But the fact that they're totally ignoring the problem and the complete arrogance which they display by advertising on big gaming sites is shamefull. "SEASON 2 AVAILABLE NOW". Even if it was available to us, it's still a month to late you bastards, so that's nothing to be proud of. And if you have the kind of money to buy huge amounts of advertising space on sites like IGN you might as well spent a little of that cash to hire a PR Manager or a communications expert who makes sure everybody knows what's going on.

Telltale, you went from being the lovable underdog to a despicable company and I hope we can get you down to the level you deserve to be.

    I totally Agree

    Yep. Pretty much.

Then again, i am completely expecting a 3 month delay so TT cant really disappoint me for another 3 months.

"TellTale - We Lower Expectations" should be their new motto :P

    True.
I should think the same way as you....
" Always have the low expectation of things.... " :D
That rule suits well on this world, doesn't it?

Even Captain Rhodes is pissed off with this delay now...

I might be able to tolerate this extreme delay if it was explained and apologized for, I'm a reasonable guy, but this lack of clear communication from Telltale Games staff explaining the problems we EU customers are facing is just unacceptable. And I don't care for passing the buck to Sony. Telltale should do the legwork and get the facts, and communicate them to us.

I understand maybe the logic behind not wanting to speak up if it's just bad news and no way to make assurances of when the problems will be addressed, but that attitude should only be adopted for a certain time, not for every single problem and not for one like this.

Up your game, Telltale. Your silence is beginning to feel like contempt and indifference.

Do you think they might just skip ep2 for us altogether?? If they do that would be the last straw! I've heard a few people speculating this may happen though.
They did release the sam and max series in the wrong order on eu PSN, season 3 was first then a year or so later season 2 and season 1 isn't even out on PSN! How does that make sense?! No one wants to play a game backwards?!

    TTG are a 'special' company.

Email no 2 from psn support. no mention of refund but says to call them directly if i want to take the matter further as they take security very seriously. and then just reiterates "ps3 titles are made by many different companies, "the walking dead" is made by telltale games and you should contact them directly at support@telltalegames.com"

meh... as Agent Piltdown above says "Up your game, Telltale. Your silence is beginning to feel like contempt and indifference. " ......I Couldn't agree more.

We're working with our partners at SCEE to finalize a release date for The Walking Dead: Ep. 2 on PSN EU. We'll update as soon as we can.

So i guess we have to wait another month :o

I'm not sure but they've probably covered themselves somehow. I think the best thing we could do is start a petition or do what the facebookers are doing and report it to watchdog... If enough people do so it may well get featured on the next show. Facebook is a powerful tool, it got Rage Against The Machine an Xmas number 1!

you have to call psn support directly i think, thats the gist of their email they sent me anyway. emailing them first and having them tell you this may be better tho as then you'd have an incident number. but good luck.

also... tt's facebook page makes me smile... so much abuse... so so much...

The PR guy has claimed that he understands how they (i.e. us Europeans) are feeling. Obviously not since most people are angry about the lack of info, not the delay in itself. TTG's behaviour is stupid when you know that they could have saved themselves a shitload of complaints by just writing a quick update a day on the forums.

Also, is there any chance that we will see Final Fantasy Crisis Core PSP on the store?

Well this is just getting sad, updates ready and episode 2 is still nowere to be found.
I personaly am not buying any of their games anymore, and I hope you guys will do the same.

I'm defenatly putting the blame at Teltale itself, they are responsible for producing the content, they are the people that offer a season pass when their not even sure if the episode they are planning to make will work.

You dont ask money for something you havent finished yet.

The other 1% is for Sony tho, I hold them responsible for letting Teltale use their network options to sell something of wich Sony isnt 100% sure that the promissed content will be delivered.

If I own a market I make sure the sellers on my market offer goods that are costmorfriendly and actuly finished, Sony should do the same.

exactly dude, the amount for spoilers ive seen by accident not to mention my EUROPEAN friends with xboxes going nuts about how good it is.
things like skyrim dawnguard is something that is a paid exclusive. i can live with that but this is fucking pathetic. its a certification issue? nope EU xbox has it, its a ps3 coding issue nope US ps3 owners have it. the uk ps store is only updated once a week ( also bullshit it was updated last friday as well ) so here we are on update day and no game? useless. whats your next excuse? you have our money and have been blind drunk for the past two months.

"the walking dead" is a great game and the amount of attention it has gained will only bring the advances of bigger companies now they know this is a good IP, telltale is merely digging their own grave with this. Kirkman is no idiot he went to telltale because this is his baby and he knew he could get TT marching to the beat of his drum with this. now he can go elsewhere and make a SECOND game that represents the walking dead without as much fear of pricks like ea taking over control of the content. granted i doubt that'd be anytime soon but TT can sure as hell kiss goodbye to the walking dead after episode 5.

Since Telltale aren't releasing episode 2 for us, I've created my own multiple choice adventure, exclusive to this thread it's called: 'disgruntled consumers' episode 1... It is of course a text based adventure, old school stylee and harks back to such classics as Zork and The Hitchikers Guide... So it begins...

You are awoken from what can only be described as a hellish nightmare, sweat on your forehead, 'it was just a dream' you tell yourself although it felt so real. You go over the vivid memory of it in your mind: you'd paid £16 for a telltale game some 3 months earlier and had been promised monthly episodes yet received nothing... You anxiously look at your clock on your bedside table, it displays Wednesda 2:43 PM, July 4th, 2012. Knowing that the PS store is updated today you log in only to find the episode is still not available... 'Oh God' you think, 'The Nightmare... It's happening'. You get dressed and head outside and are confronted by Telltale head of PR, he grins at you in a sarcastic manner and says 'You shmucks think you're getting an episode 2? Haha, we already have your money now you fools'. Do you:

    1. Immediately sucker punch him in the rib section before he can continue
    2. Say your sorry and just want some info on the release date.
    3. Run back into the house

You are carrying: an empty wallet and a walking dead dynamic theme.

Choose wisely... Decisions will be carried over into the next episode which will be released 'soon'... I'm just not too sure when.

Surely this is something Trading Standards (UK) could deal with? For all we know they could have taken our money and legged it with the lack of response.

Did they actually say it would be out in June? If so then it could fall under "Your consumer rights – products must be as described – match the description on packaging or what the trader told you."

I know nothing much of law, but it might be something for someone with a bit of experience in this to pursue if TTG don't get their acts together soon.

And it goes without saying, this is the last game I'll get from TTG. It's the first I've actually bought (I got Sam & Max and BTTF free with PS+) and I thought since they'd released a fair few popular titles this would be a good service. What an absolute shambles.

What I would really, really like to know is that why all the episodes were not created and finished BEFORE they started releasing them? Then have them submitted for Sony/MS to approve and release each month on time instead of this farce that we have right now.

I've dealt with companies screwing up before. I can understand things go wrong. What I don't understand is silence about it, sweeping it under the carpet without so much as a hint of an apology.

What also irks me is that everywhere else has this game except the Euro (and I think AU/NZ) regions.

Hey, look on the bright side - season 3 of Walking Dead will be out before we finish the game at this rate!

A little bit about my game - 'Disgruntled Consumers', for those who don't know about it episode 1 was just released a few posts up.

Based on Telltales lack of communication with customers and their inability to release episode 2 of The Walking Dead, Disgruntled Consumers is about a group of paying customers devastated by a 4 month wait for a 'monthly episode', a shit dynamic theme and the horrifying choices you're forced to make to survive.

If I get enough positive feedback I will create episode 2 (Cos I'm not telltale) and start a kick-starter page to fund it's retail release.
