Thats a retweet. The original tweet is from yesterday . That was the first we heard. 3 Days after the episode should have been released.

    and even that was late.
well, i stop complaining now. at least for some time. i'm still angry but i can't change a damn thing...

one last thing: about the example with the movie where you go out after 1/5 of it: no movie is separated in 5. that's an example which just doesn't fit our situation right now. bottom line: telltale somehow lied to us and they simply don't have to balls to apologize.

so, that's all the complaining for now :)

I wasn't complaining, you said I was stupid because I had no proof that telltale did reviews for their own games... others have posted you links...

    Do I get a sorry?
It is easy to find out the names of people who work for Teltale games. It is easy to get a user account under someone elses name. I'm not convinced. Maybe some disgruntled customers wanted to start a scandal. So are you going to address my points?

^^^ Blind fanboy or troll. As if someone would waste their time pretending to be a 'Telltale' employee and then write an in depth glowing review of 'Jurassic Park' Lol. Why would anyone do that? No one had a reason to hate or boycott Telltale back then (Even though BTTF was shit), if people were doing that now after the walking dead sham I'd understand mind you.

Maybe, but what's more likely? That there was some silent conspiracy to discredit Telltale by secretly getting the info of their employees and using it to post good reviews on their games, hoping that somebody might catch on and that it might hurt the company, or that a company with a proven track record of awful business practices might be reviewing their own games?

You're starting to sound a little desperate to defend Telltale. As long as we're getting into conspiracy theories, I'm starting to suspect there could be something to that.

Well whatever. Wouldn't you want to defend a company you have great respect for? My point is that we don't know all the facts. Let say you were right. Maybe it was a telltale employee, who never worked on the game. Isn't he entitled to his own opinion? I noticed that in one of the reviews he informs everyone that he works for telltale, so he is maybe a bit biased.

And an idiot to boot why even bother replying to him, the internet is his friend if he bothers using it he would find evidence on many gamer websties about telltale faking reviews.

Instead he just makes up crap and acts like its a hard point to follow lol

Two TTG employees wrote Jurassic Park reviews for Metacritic, that's completely true. They did not make an attempt to hide their identities and were of course soon found out. Telltale issued a public apology, but the employees were definitely acting on their own, and were not forced by their company to write glowing reviews. Innocent in thought, devastating in deed - as a quick look at Jurassic Park's metacritic reviews will undoubtedly tell you. Unlikely to happen again.

What vainamoinen said. I only said that it wasn't impossible to fake it. This is the internet after all. I maybe come off fanboi'ish at times, but I am neither a troll or an idiot thank you.

Guys lets not fight among each other. I'm frustrated as hell as well, but lets stick together. And even though we're still at the same place we were yesterday with no real progress being made, and the folks at Telltale are still bastards, we can beat them if we just stick together. BTW, I found this Youtube clip showing us what the folks at Telltale are really doing while we sit here and wait for a response from them. As you can see they're working very hard to resolve this problem:

I'm praying things will be smoother and reading your other post now. I just wish I didn't accidently click on a spoiler thread though :(

Guess I shouldn't check out the forum after midnight lol

Aye, I've bookmarked this thread to check into a few times in the afternoon after work and read this one alone after having 2 big plot points of Episode 2 spoiled for me by accident. They're also on my YouTube subscription feed too which I'm having to avoid, argh.

Well it is midnight and it's off to bed with me, I'm knackered. :p

I am really p*ssed about this. The Walking Dead Episode 1 was released on April 24th 2012. It is now July 5th 2012. It was originally supposed to be a monthly release. I was eagerly anticipating a late-May release date until I discovered that TT Games had not been able to follow through on their promise. I followed E3 closely and googled 'The Walking Dead Episode 2 release date' every day to see if a date had been announced. When the release date was FINALLY announced over two months AFTER the release date of the initial episode, me, along with my other European friends who own a PS3 were pleased. We didn't care about the two month delay, we just wanted to play it. I thought TT had done a fantastic job on episode 1, and i couldn't wait to play episode 2. So on Friday I signed into the PS Store. And what a surprise... No Walking Dead. I was kinda irritated, but i figured it would be out on Wednesday, and I thought another couple of days waiting isn't a problem. So I signed into PS Store yesterday. What a surprise. NO WALKING DEAD.

WTF TELLTALE! Not only does the US PS3 have it but so do EU Xbox and PC users. SO WHY DON'T WE?! I'm sick of being treated like second class customers here in the EU. Games are always released here last, and we have the least support from the devs. And also, I think it's absolutely ridiculous that TT havn't even released a statement regarding the lack of an EU release. I want to play this game. I've waited two months already. I don't want to wait another. Jheez, how long will we be waiting for number 3?

I'm not one to complain about delays, but this is ridiculous. The game is running fine and has been released everywhere else, and the game has been approved for release in the EU for every other platform, so why no EU release? I don't want to hate, I don't want to complain. I just want a statement from TT telling me when the game will be released. I'm just glad that I didn't get the season pass.

I understand your frustration but the walking dead game hasn't even been released in Australia and New Zealand. At least you will actually get to play it on your PS3 unlike us.

Exactly. The game was never submitted here for classification at all.

At best we can hope that TTG submits the game once the AU R18 classification is launched.

And going by the last month, I can guarantee we'll still have to pay full price for the game with no form of apology subsidy. Add to that we'll end up paying too much comparably to the rest of the world as we always do.

Don't forget guys, while you wait for episode 2 of TWD you can still play the fan made spin off episodic text adventure entitled 'Disgruntled Consumers' right here on this forum. It is based on the recent events with regards to the delay of TWD and the lack of communication from the company.

Episodes 1 & 2 are already available, play it today!

What the critics had to say about episode 1:

Until now, I was frustrated and disappointed, by the leck of communication between TT and us. A few minutes ago I loged into the german PSN Store...No Episode 2!
Now I have to say Iam starting to get pissed. Sorry for my language, but this is really unaxeptabel, I thought, when I bought the season pass, that this looked like a good deal. Now I think its simple some rip off!
If TT continuously does nothing, this will be my first and last TT game ever!

By the way DeadbeatUK, hope you make more "Episodes", at least there is some entertainment here ;)

When did I say you shouldn't complain? Point is, it's delayed and there's nothing you can do it. The extra month gave them the chance to really improve the game and after playing episode 2, it was defintely worth the wait. I'm sure you wouldn't want them to rush it out in a month.
As for your analogy, that doesn't work because you have already played one of the episodes. That would be like going to the cinema, watching 1/5 of the film, walking out then demanding a refund. Not going to happen.

the extra month gave them the chance to really improve the game? are you serious? no offense, but that argument is gonna fall a bit flat when you consider all the problems people have been having since it was released on x box 360 and in other terrotories. some people havn,t even been able to download it for gods sake. yeah, they really used the extra month to produce a cracking game didn,t they?

granted, if you walk out of a film after watching 1/5 of it, its your own fault and your not entitled to a refund, but do you see anyone here refusing to download the second episode? we can,t because its not avalable yet, so its not the same thing is it? sorry mate, but YOUR analogy doesn,t work

Eurogamer.net Has a article about this, no info about when we can expect to see the game. But I'm glad that this is getting some focus other places than the forum. I encourage you all to show the writer some support for speaking our cause. The more pressure we can put on TTG the more likely they are to give us some info.

I'll just add this to spice up the thread. From Wikipedia

    Episode 1: A New Day - April 24-27th, 2012
Episode 2: Starved for Help - June 30,2012
Episode 3: Long Road Ahead - August, 2012
Episode 4: Around Every Corner - TBA
Episode 5: No Time Left - TBA

This has afterwards been edited to:

    Episode 2: Starved for Help - June,2012
Episode 3: Long Road Ahead - TBA

Episode 4: Around Every Corner - TBA
Episode 5: No Time Left - TBA

We are still a lot of people who would like information from TTG about when we can expect to play the 2nd episode.

... I love how it was initially listed as a monthly release but then quickly changed to 'TBA'. God knows when we'll see episode 2, let alone episode 3... I'm sick of waiting, I just want to play it now. I'm sick of having to avoid spoilers when we should have just got it at the same time as everyone else.

Yeah, I knew I had seen the dates somewhere, but this is the best I could find.

I would be ecstatic for a simultanious US and EU release, I would be okey if I just had to wait a few days. But having to wait for a indefinite period of time feels like a slap in the face.
