But you don't know what I look like.. You might enjoy it.
I can't help but picture you like your avatar:) So in my head you do not just look like Duck. You really are Duck. Later on I hope to find posts of yours, defending Duck big time, and in a heated argument about saving his life. Just to support my image of you;)
If anyone wonders. Vain looks like Dumbledore in my mind.

Thats precious. You know the Gollum kind of way:) But it is nice, since it feeds my mind picture of you.
Now I only need to hear Vain say, that he is pissed about the ending in The Halfblood Prince, and that he is actually gay (J.K Rowling forum), so he can support my Dumbledore image:)
I apologize, and I fixed it. I pictured you as an old, fat man with ketchup on his face pretending to be a zombie searching for the next date for his weekly comic con discussion meeting. I'm glad I was wrong though.
TallTale Games just posted that on their TWD facebook page... I hope that's not the "big news and announcements" they had for the near future! lol. I was hoping for an update on episode 3! Well maybe if they're already recording the dialog for episode 4 they'll be able to get it out in a more timely manner? lol. I sure am hopeful a lot.

Last time I got an update was from Nick Herman about a week ago. He started to review the first draft of the script of episode 4.
Doesn't look like it's being released this week. Wait until next week! If they really just submitted it for certification a week ago, and the average certification process is 6 weeks, we're looking at the end of Sept./beginning of Oct.!
the certification process took about 10-14 days (as per what we have been told for when ep2 submitted 4 certification and then released) so not 6 weeks as you said. that would mean another month wait per episode even if they finished and then submitted certification 2 weeks before the release date. The episode will be out soon. my bigger complaint is even with fast internet speeds episode 2 took about 6hours to download thru The Steam. i guess patience wins out ut what happens when patience is gone....maybe that's when the dead will walk the earth forever more;)

If this is true, then I probably could care less about this game now. Games is great, but when you put it in an episode format that only seems to come out every 2+ months, and was actually promised earlier than that, really losing appeal. I am looking forward more to the comics and TV show at this point.
Although random to this thread, because telltale has never dissapointed to dissapont, if you want to play a game similiar to TWD I must suggest "Cause Of Death" for the iphone/ apple. Its made by EA, and is very similiar to TWD but detective-style. Im not promoting it by any means, but I just say because:
1) Its a fun game to keep you entertained
2) they actually keep their word and release an episode once a week!

It must be your internet, I bought this game on steam and it took no more than 11 minutes tops to download each episode.
I just realized something. Once Episode 3 comes out in the near future, the forums will die down for a few weeks. Then what am I suppose to do for my nightly entertainment?

Huh? Once episode 3 comes out, I have a feeling that the forums will be more lively. There will be multiple threads discussing the choices we made, as well as multiple character discussion threads.
Do you know any other company with near-monthly episodic video game releases?
No I do not.
Thanks for pointing that out to me. "near monthly"- that sounds better than monthly. Are they using that in their description of game now?
Are you staff on Telltale?

Interesting. I never read that but it makes sense. I read blogs like this (Click Here) that claim it takes at least 2 weeks and can go on as long as 6 weeks, with 4-6 weeks the average. A time of 10-14 days sounds much better!

Interesting insights.
That probably means Episode 3 will be out within the weeks to come, or days if we're lucky.
Knowing how long the certification process sure does help us see things in a different way. Although it doesn't help to remove the image that TTG, like Valve Cooperation, has issues with their release dates.
Having been let down by Valve's words on their release date for L4D's DLC previously, TTG's given scenario isn't so bad. At least the download for every new episode doesn't take as long as the DLCs in L4D.
Coming from an asian country with a shitty net server, that would also mean that I take an hour minimum to download them episodes, and I spend longer days waiting for the episodes to come out.
Before I got TWDG, I used to go on Google during my free time searching for updates on Episode 3. Now that I have the game, I'm just gonna wait out and see how it goes. My guess is TTG will still deliver every single episodes nearing the end of the month as opposed to whatever dates they've given.
I don't envy you guys though, I don't know how ya'll get that patience. Practically every other fans are already raging that its late-mid august passing in to early-end august.
Ah, not good. I hope there will be some kind of announcement soon - I hope they'll be able to release Episode 3 by the end of the month though... but I have this sinking feeling it's going to be out mid Sept.
They said nearing submission for all any of you know they haven't even sent it out yet
They did actually say in the blog post dated the 10th August that it was nearing submission, however, it was also implied that they would not notify us when it had been submitted, but instead when the certification process has been completed:
"As soon as we hear back from our partners on when Episode Three will be available on Xbox LIVE Marketplace, PlayStation Network, PC, and Mac, we’re going to break that news to you right here."
I thus think we can say that the game most likely has already been in the "certification machine" for a week or so.

Note that that post was on the 7th August though, and the blog post that we were given a week and a half ago may have been the notification they were talking about.

OMG you are right:eek:
What am I supose to do then? Please do not release the game....
On the other hand I will have EP3 to keep me company, and the EP4 release bitching will be right around the corner:) So just release it.
Let me break down the experience from a PC user perspective. The latest episode gets finished, and I have to wait for the Microsoft certification process on a platform which I'm not even playing on. Then it's officially released on SOME platforms, but not mine. For some reason (temp exclusivity rights?) my version gets delayed for another few days, even though it's been ready for nigh on 2 weeks. And on top of all that, I'm the last to get the episode after buying it from TellTale's own website. That's insane. That's absolutely 100% batshit crazy.
But hey, I guess us smelly PC users should be thankful we're getting it at all.

indeed agree 100%
but the kicker was pc users and i think ps3 got ep1 before xbox by a few days.. it stung but i guess mr gates laid down the law..for the rest of the game.

if Bill gates cared about xbox being left behind those few days they should update whenever they have to and not just on specific days. it was available to be released on all platforms but xbox is like but we only update on THIS day. here take some money and wait the extra week so xbox gets it first next time. and this is how the guy who gave us windows creates blood thirsty rage filled zombies:eek:. I know I'm getting kinda hungry myself lol

hasn't TT's fan base grew since it's released the walking dead? I was under the impression this was their best selling game.
LOL that's hilarious
./awkwardly wipes ketchup off her face/.....What?
I like that tag, though have you got what it takes to leave it there. :O
Probably, but you shouldn't toss the word "fan" about so loosely. I like the game, but I'm certainly not a fan of TTG's

Something about tags.
If there was a rule in the forum faq saying "Don't tag threads" I wouldn't do it.
Wow, the facebook page has just as many complainers as the forum. Less people defending TTG too.
