Note that that post was on the 7th August though, and the blog post that we were given a week and a half ago may have been the notification they were talking about.
Also, I haven't been able to find the particular tweet... but frankly, I know shit about twitter.
You all think this waiting horse pucky is bad, try having to listen to a 12 year old and a 10 year old zombie fanatics asking you EVERY.....SINGLE......DAY..... IS IT OUT DAD? Did you check Xbox? Did you check PSN? Did you check the computer? Did you check the app store? Yes I have purchased all episodes available on all the systems available. F....M....L

i dunno if mods are deleting the new threads or have culled the new members who have been doing that on here but we seem have some rare silence at the mo!
next time don't tell your kids till you know it's out
In my heart of hearts I know we won't hear anything, we haven't heard much at all throughout the first couple episode releases so why think we are going to hear something now.
I've nothing but praise for the Telltale team for producing such a fantastic gaming experience - however I don't think it is much to ask for daily updates, or an update every other couple of days. I'm probably just being impatient, but when you've hooked such a vast clientel, it is crucial to keep them satisfied - whether it be a small teaser here or a hint of an update there. Radio silence just doesn't wash.
jesus, it's cos the episodes are being made, hence they don't know they are ready till they finish the ' episode ' and then testing it till it's fit for certifying..
"Hey everybody. Just a quick update: We finished episode 3 and submitted it for certification. If all goes well, this usually takes 2 weeks. If there are any problems we'll have to go back and fix them then resubmit ep 3 for certification. Unfortunately we can't give you a hard date yet. We'll keep you updated and thank you for your patience! -TTG"

A simple post like that would probably solved the board a lot of headache. Despite the demands and anger being thrown about, I think the vast majority of the people are angry at the communication. I think the silent majority of people on the board are patient. I certainly understand that some things are out of their control and they can't give us an exact date. Just a couple updates saying something like the above during the month would make a huge difference.
I check this thread every day hoping there will be some sort of communication. Even just a red name popping on to acknowledge the fan base exists would be a good start. The only info we receive if any are from 3 party sources.
Personally I'm just annoyed that they don't tell us anything. I think the fans deserve a little respect in that sense. Sure it's annoying to wait 2 or 3 months for a 2 hour game when they said they'd come out monthly.

ttg pr monkeys are doing a bit better then before twd..
I don't know about that, but here is a source from August 10th saying they are nearing final submission process.
http://www.telltalegames.com/community/blogs/id-981 Yeah, that's right, an update from telltale that was less than 2 weeks ago, even when they communicate, the "fans" just don't notice and then still complain.(not you specifically, this is just in general)

and even now that you and others have posted it several times now.

ttg still get complaints !!!!!
I think the reason for that is out of sheer boredom. It cracks me up reading people rant on the forums over a video game. Honestly, you could go to any game forum and read the exact same sort of thing. This week and next are packed full of release titles. GW2 early access in 4 days, ME3 and TSW both have big updates next week. Play one of them while you wait for EP 3... I also wonder, are people ranting because they are worried the Zombie apocalypse may take place in the next few weeks and we will have to wait for Rick Grimes to figure out a cure before we are able to play EP 3-5?? Maybe that's it.

I try not to complain. am I disappoited? yes
do I hold a grudge? no,because,as a young artist,I understand the need to perfect ones art & game designing is a form of art.
i made this account to keep me & my brother uptated so any info i can grab puts a smile on my face
hasn't TT's fan base grew since it's released the walking dead? I was under the impression this was their best selling game.
It is, but that isn't what I meant.
I meant that this is NOT the entirety of telltale's customers here. This is the minority, the game sold over a million copies and there clearly aren't a million people here. These guys that are angrily attacking the game aren't doing anything to affect telltale because most of their customers don't even use the forums/care about the game. They just play it whenever the episode comes out.

Yeah, I'm disappointed as well, and you aren't what I was complaining about. Some of these people here really get out of hand like they sold their soul for this game. Then there are the people that say telltale never state anything at all, when this happened a few days ago.
Your welcome. For the Record, I just got that from telltale's blog at the top of the page, so that's probably a good thing to keep an eye on along with the forums.
Hopefully they'll bring it out on ps3 the same time it comes out on xbox and because im in the uk i waited a month like the description said then when i realised it wasnt out i waited another month till the 27th then the 29th the ps3 release date 4 episode 2 just to find that i had to wait another week for ps3 in EU which is just pissed me off so hopefully theyll bring them out all at the same time for xbox pc and ps3 but sometimes i wish that ps3 got an advantage against xbox but oh well
i know what u mean. my brother teased that he might have it because he has xbox & I hav ps3...ps3 gets an advantage here & there... ("PLAY AS THE JOKER CHALLENGE MAPS,only available 4 ps3 users")
I had never heard of telltale games, before I found this game. I like it a lot, but I think that two months is a loooong time to wait for a couple of hours of game play. Especially knowing that once you get that next episode, it will be another two months before you get to play any new content. At this rate it will be about 10 months, grand total, before all of the episodes are actually out. While I believe that the game is top notch, and I'm enjoying it a lot, with the limited number of choices that you have to make in the game, how can it take two months to create two hours of game play? I'll be hanging in there until the bitter end, but I'm disappointed about the length of time it's taking.

I hope this doesn't mean that you allow your underaged kids to play this game?
It is rated M, not for under 17. I get reamed whenever i bring that up, but doesn't anyone have a problem with children playing games that are rated M?
I still say it is stuff like this that really are affecting society, kids take all of this for granted, and view death as nothing big, because they see it constantly on TV and in games. So they become immune and figure people can take a lot of damage before dying and just take magical pills to heal.
Now i am not saying you are a bad parent, but i just hope you do not allow your kids to play these things. If they want to watch that is one thing
jesus, it's cos the episodes are being made, hence they don't know they are ready till they finish the ' episode ' and then testing it till it's fit for certifying..
then it's down to sony and msoft...
Yet Steam has no certification process to go through. Still bothers me they dont release it on steam the minute its ready.
After all we are the ones who's only option was to purchase the full season pass, not per episode.
So first they say mid August, then on the 10th we get word they are nearing final stages and it'll be a week or so. Than two weeks later we get no update,no word at all as the whole concept of an August release proves to be a complete lie.
Are people not allowed to be upset when lied to? Especially when your not getting what is paid for and the other side isn't being upfront?
How is that wrong? We have paid for something we aren't getting and lied to constantly about it.

maybe you should of waited till they're older...
That was a Tuesday.
Today is Tuesday.
We might get some good news!
you guys are bein way too hopeful

plus if they did send that out what would happen ?
people would STILL complain they are waiting for a release date.

This guy knows it. People will always find ways to complain about the game or company. Even if they would give out daily updates.
bye !
may I ask your source?

Seems like a justified reason to be upset
