I want to play as clem, but an older version. Just to see how the world has changed her

As I read from forums here, it would not fit with the timeline of the universe - eventually, the dead will destroy the living, or the opposite. I don't know about possibility of the new apocalypse (you know, people have rebuilt and restored everything, then zombies hit again), but I think playing as Clementine (at least her being older) is unlikely.

If you think about it, it's still possible for Lee to be alive.

If you choose to amputate his arm, it's obvious that it helps, because he passes out less than if you don't.
It's possible that after amputation, the only times he passes out was because of blood loss.
Even at the very end, it's possible that he only becomes pale because of losing blood, and he passes out instead of turning when he's in the jewelery store.
So, if you handcuff him to the radiator, choose not to shoot him, and he does only pass out because of losing blood, he could still be alive.

Again, I said it's possible, not probable.

    @Chainsaw_bunny

Unfortunately his death is confirmed by everyone at TTG so arguing his fate is useless since we know exactly what happened to him.

While it's confirmed he is dead, perhaps we will see Lee as a walker in season 2. Since they're talking about importing save files, maybe those who chose to leave Lee will get a scene with him zombified. The handcuffs shouldn't be too much of an issue, since like the walker cop the arm could just decay to the point where it rips off.

Like I said, it was a long shot.
I just thought it should be mentioned, in case TellTale wants to pull a fast one.
Kinda like what they did with the end of The Devil's Playhouse.

Then again, these are two completely different series.

I was thinking maybe that Lee just passed out from blood loss and that he could be the main character again, but that's out the window. Maybe play as another one of the Season 1 characters, I'd personally like to be Kenny or Molly.

I just hope we get to Atlanta in Season 2 and see Merle Dixon without a hand running from walkers. As very distant and barely noticeable.

He's already been confirmed dead anyway.

Confirmation isn't always solid evidence and the fact that they are barely into the concept of the game means they can change things and disregard early confirmations and heck might have tryed to mislead our thinking with false confirmations plus Lee's "death" can be perceived in different ways so....yeah.

It could be possible that they're misleading us in the same way that they add a "Carley will remember that" notification moments before she gets killed.

I honestly don't see that happening, but I'd be happy if Lee was still alive somehow.

It would be awesome if he was still alive. Don't think he is though.

    LOL..Better ask who's not agreed.

But I don't think it's Omid and Christa are up on dat hill.TT likes to fuck with us SO much,so it wouldn't even be a suprise for me if they wouldn't appear on this season..but I hope that TT has this lil' piece of heart still on them (?) that Omid and Christa will show up ._.

    And Kenny,don't forget Kenny =)

you can thank that douchebag Graham Ross for Lee's death  but that was the most emotional ending for me. And that includes video games, tv shows, and movies.

Lee's death made me cry way more than any relative death ever has.

It will be set at least five seconds in the future, I think it will start with Clementine running and puffing to the two silhouette survivors, because they were not walkers, they walked to casually.
But i don't care how it starts, just as long as Sean Vanaman writes it

Actually, I've read around here that the voice actor for Clementine said that she will run or hide from the strangers depending on what you told her in the last few minutes.

My denial is all I got. I've convinced myself Lee passed out from blood loss.

    Me too.

I'd love for them to bring him back, but I know they won't.

I just don't think Clementine's ok to go off on her own yet.

The only problem I have with a sequel is that the first season gets across the message of The Walking Dead quite succinctly - The Walking Dead is a zombie apocolypse where the survivors are more dangerous than the zombies.

I feel like another season might might live up to the first because of this. Remember, this isn't like a sequel to a regular game here. It's all about the story. Of course, you'd be crazy not to cash in on the phenomenal success of this game.

My dream plot of season 2 is Kenny finds Lee and they go off to search for Clem.

    Season 2
    Setting: Countryside scenario

Christa was adamant that she hated cities and wanted to move to the countryside. Assuming she is in the group, I imagine that the upcoming season will have rural overtones to it... while trying to move through massively blocked byways (like in the TV series when they had to drudge through the highway slowly)

Since the game seems to complement the TV series, I predict there will be more scenes where you have to hide and avoid huge herds of zombies- similar to the scene in the TV Series at the highway or episode 4 in the tunnels where you turned on the water and a huge group moves by.... but magnify it by a hundred fold.

Moving into the country, you might encounter more hunting scenes to get more food for the group- and perhaps there is a hunting accident?

    Character features: Delusions
With the new upcoming season, after many months of an outbreak people's psychologies will take a turn for the worst. You think cannibalistic psycho's are bad? Wait for the horrors of season 2.

I suggest that the main character suffers through some seriously f'd up delusions, much like a previous forum poster said a few pages back (Page 29?)

The main character might even be something like from Chaos;head the anime, where he must fight through the psychological battles (and physical too). There will be much more psychological battles after this much time as progressed in the series and character's dreams and delusions will come out to play.

For example, your main character has a delusional best friend, who turns out in the end to have died much earlier- much like The Stranger's delusion that his wife was still alive. In the dreams, it can be affected by past events from season 1 with relatively no harm to the plot.

Psychology will be a HUGE part of season 2, if not the main theme that people's delusions will run rampant. Clemie is the only way certain character's can fight these delusions since she is the "moral compass"

Maybe they should make Clementine a character that can be saved and killed by your choices in season 2. I know its messed up to even think that for anyone who has played through season one, but after lee I can't imagine her opening up to that kind of relationship again...This way the new protagonist can have his own identity, instead of being a lee clone.

I have not read much but a few replies. I don't care about others replies either.
Just got the game and almost finished it for the second time now.
Man what a great game, probably the best game i have played since resident evil 3 back in the days. But damn! I know you wanted to add some extra drama on the end but how you gonna make the next season appealing when you let Lee die! the person we are all so f*ing attached to. And ofcourse clem, the precious girl we protected along the road.
I do hope you come up with something good like, she grazed his head instead of hitting him full and immediately walked away. Then he wakes up and the adventure continues. Make it a miracle that he did not die and come up with an explaination (scratch did not infect him, was from that wooden board not form the zombie, he was just terribly sick of infection or something) as long as he comes back. Period. For the rest you can decide whatever you do ofcourse. :)

    Hello Folks,

Just registered straight from Holland to tell that this game is the best game i have played since resident evil 3. And in fact this one is tenfold as good. :D
But damn, Telltalegames how could you take away Lee!?! The person everyone is so attached to. I really want to see a season 2 as long as we get to continue with Lee and eventually Clementine again! Make it so that Clem Grazed him instead of hit him full in the head because she didn't look while she fired. Then Lee wakes up and realize he was not bitten at all but it was merely a scratch from the wooden board and he was just been terribly sick from infection that healed for whatever reason you come up with. The rest you can be creative again but don't do this to me, don't do this to me man  Don't take Lee or Clem from me. :)

Lately, I've been thinking that the 2 figures in the back are Vernon and the black dude..I hope not tough (?) :)
  • edited January 2013
Vernon is on a boat... so no. Molly, Omid, Christa or Officer Andre (scraping Barrell I know) are possible. Bar new charecters ofcourse
