Am I the only one who does not completely hate Ben, and who didn't completely love Carly? I mean Carly's fine and Doug is a cool bro, but still... Ben did something he thought was justified. He made a choice that did not end well. I mean, come on: Lee and Mark pretty much exclusively chose for the group to go to St. John's farm and look what happened? Larry dies (causing Lilly to be angry and bitter at Kenny and - maybe - you), Kenny get's shot, Clem gets traumatized (if she eats) . . .
Actually, most (all?) of the group wanted to go the St. John's Farm for food initially, if you tell Andy that you don't want to deal with them at the beginning, the others will tell you off. Lee and the group made the wrong choice but at least they made that choice as a group. I won't say anything about Ben since I think it's probably time to put that horse down, I just wanted to defend my bro Mark.
man that is some bond you two formed. Was it that walk through the autumn leaves? all that vibrant color around you? or the shared moment of barbarism when you hacked through the teacher's leg?
Plus telling off Larry, clearing a fence of zombies, and getting shot by bandits, those are serious bonding moments there. Not even Clem could save the St. Johns from me after what happened to the poor guy.
The boy fucked up,he fucked up real bad but my Lee hasn't killed or abandon a group member yet and isn't going to start with Ben. I did decide to make him fear Lee by threatening to kill him. He should fear the consequences of doing something like that again.
I did get a little worried that Lee was going to throw him off the train and I might of read the choice incorrectly

I picked the same option and was never so disapponted by Lee. I told Lee to kill that bastard and he didn't. It would have been clean too. No witnesses, no investigation and no paperwork. Ben would just be another walker in a gaggle of walkers. If anyone asked Lee what happened to Ben, I'd just use Clem's standard answer #1 "I don't know".
Ben is starting to become as effective as a dirty black rat spreading the black death.
The group had survived for three months without any losses and had even managed to add a new member to the group. Then BEN comes along with the last two surviving members from their large group of fellow classmates and teachers.Within 10-15 minutes the other two are both dead and one of them almost kills a group member.
Ben is then allowed to join the group, and guess what? two group members are dead that very same day.The following week three more join them and another is exiled.Lastly a new group member suffers an injury that may be fatal.
It wont be long until the grim reaper himself recruits him as his new poster boy...

You're holding him responsible for Mark, Larry and Omid's lack of grace? Does he get bonus points for Larry?
He's cursed I tell you, CURSED!!!
and that group is doomed, they're all doomed,doomed,doomed...
Maybe Ben started the apocalypse...
"That damn teacher's pet Travis is always doing better than me in band! I bet Mr. Parker likes him more than me too! I just wish there was some way I could show them how valuable and awesome I am..."
*The next day, zombies*
"Hey Mr. Parker, Travis! Let's go hide in the woods, we'll be safe there!"
If I could make one change to that video, three family members would have to die first...cause that's just how Ben rolls. Massive collateral damage or whats the point?

You have to have on your big boy pants if you wanna fight with me.

C'mon now, you know I dont do the whole 'pants' thing. Just the thought of looking for them would mean diverting attention from the forums. I need to have my priorities in order here, ZA is serious business.
I haven't read all the replies so i'm sorry if i'm going to sound repetitive or something, but tbh i don't hate Ben. He's a kid! And i believe he was smuggling supplies with good intentions. If he didn't do it, probably the bandits would storm the camp anyway!
Ofc he should have told Lee or Lilly or even Kenny what was happening, so they could deal with the situation, but I believe he didn't mean any harm!
I forgave him and Lilly because the world has gone to shit and everybody is in a lot of tension and doing fucked up things. Ofc Lilly I wouldn't let go without making sure she wouldn't harm the group anymore, but she deserved a second change, like Ben!
the bandits where either slow to pick up the meds or they saw lee take them back.. true the previous drops kept them safe but how many drops was that ?
...true the previous drops kept them safe but how many drops was that ?
Lee commented that the bandits gave them hell, but that it had been quiet for a few days. A drop every day or every other day? The one Lee found could have been either the 2nd or 3rd drop.

I disagree with a lot of you, obviously there is no denying Ben did wrong HOWEVER he did it for the group and he clearly was sincere in helping the group. I dont see how you guys dont see this.
One, he was stealing in hopes to keep the bandits happy and thus ensure the safety and well-being of the group.
Two, besides that he was grateful for the group for letting them in, I mean what was he supposed to do to show his loyalty.
Three, he told Lee it was him! Now this matters especially more if you told him that you were going to jail before... which I did. Point is, he trusts you and that is invaluable apparently in this game.
All in all, I loved Carly (she was my favorite character) and obviously Ben should be held accountable for his actions but hes not a bad kid and he still can be an asset to the group.
It doesn't change the fact that he lied and gave bandits our meds without telling us a word and then leaving us in the dark until the point where nearly half our group are gone.

not many..
They're both of a school of thought I dont subscribe to

hence the 'not many'
