He's my favorite superhero and they NEVER get him right.
I feel you. From the bits I've read of Spider-Man the only thing I think they got mostly right was Doc Ock in the second movie, but that might be because I'm a fan of the robot tentacles.
Though considering how the movies that feature my favorite superhero fared... well, I get where you're coming from.
Well, I guess I have to qualify my previous statement by saying I know nothing of his origin story. Everything I know about the character comes from Hulk comics, where he only stays around long enough to be duly smashed.
To be fair, Alfred Molina's performance was good, as long as you don't know anything about Doctor Octopus and don't expect him to be portraying a character that is in any way similar to the Doctor Octopus you may know from reading comic books.
Well since you don't like the movies you would probably like these reviews by theusualsuspect2013. He likes the Spidey movies but he does point out the flaws and poke fun at them.
If Joss Whedon writes it, it will be a well done triple A superhero movie, given how he handled humor in Avengers. But really, I'm more worried about it not happening at all, which is also more likely.
Therefore, I will be writing my own script of a storyline that would never ever happen in a summer blockbuster.
I'm going to see it on Tuesday. Given the movies I've already seen this summer and my assessment of the trailer, I'm expecting it to fall squarely in the middle of my summer movie rankings.
I get that people suck, and are easily hate-able, cause believe me I have spent more than my fair share of time ranting on political forums. Ignorance and confidence, possibly the two worst traits to be smashed together... and every single political forum has that. But really, they and the gaming/film/whatever equivalent only have as much power over you as you let them have.
I'v watched 9 episodes of Wolverine and the X-Men and it's pretty good though no ones character is developed that much so far its just all fight fight.
I read Dark Phoenix, Days of Future Past andAvengers vs X-Men. I need a good new X-Men comic but don't know what to get.
Read the one where Spider-Man and Wolverine join the WWE and Wolverine ties Mary Jane up in his basement and begins to hit her with a Yapapi strap on camera, and Spider-Man gets really spider-mad.

Two Blackbird pilots make the sacrafice and land in Parts Unknown. Then Bishop announces hes coming for Hogan.
I like the Days of Future past comic but there's now way the movie can stay faithful to it since the comics way to short and the 2 time lines there traveling to are completely different then the ones in the comic.
Like people are moaning that
It's Wolverine travling back not Kitty but Kitty wasn't born in the First Class timeline and Wolverine was around in both
. I don't think people should judge if this movie is good just based on how accurate it is to the comic.

I agree. I think that the movies shouldn't even be trying to copy a particular comic but should instead take inspiration from a collection of comics to create a totally new story. I view the movieverse as kinda a weird hybrid of the best parts of the Ultimate and original universes but with extra flavorings anyways, so it's just silly to try to expect perfect accuracy. In any case, perfect accuracy would probably make for a lousy movie. Wonderful comic, where there's build up and history, but for a movie you have to introduce things in a shorter time frame, so changes have to be made to suit the media.

Apparently the Wolverine was the best Wolverine movie or something. Whatever. It's a blockbuster. Not like I'm going to go see it.
Which, in the grand scheme of the X-Men cinematic universe is... well, it's better than Origins?
I... I think I may have just out-nerded Coolsome.
...someone hold me. I'm scared.
I saw the motion comic of it on Netflix before they removed cos there evil evil evil milk maids.
NIXONS BAAACK!!!l!!
Is this worth the large amount of cash it costs? I do love me some Wolverine.
Trask?

This could get weird.
