Live in the past, man. It works for me. I haven't been to the theatre since... I dunno, last year some time. I don't listen to new music or watch new TV shows.
FUCKING BORING. WHATEVER. I don't FEEL ANYTHING watching this shit anymore.
About the only new thing to me right now that has successfully made me feel something is the early episodes of the Simpsons and some of 90s Spider-Man, which I've been watching. The last movie to REALLY make me feel something was Django.
OK. Try doing what I do - branch out into stuff you wouldn't normally watch. Try anime. Try old shows from the 80s. Try anything outside of your normal comfort zone and see if anything connects.
And if all else fails... go watch Poirot. That moustache and that accent is practically guaranteed to bring a smile to your face.
Also: 90s Spider-Man was fucking awesome. Screw anyone who tells you otherwise.

I did that, and suprised myself by actually enjoying The Greatest American Hero. It's incredibly cheesy, but there's something surprisingly enjoyable about it... Robert Culp's presence is probably that something.
Yeah its actually BUYING all those games! XD
(As opposed to just burning the isos (Dreamcast had very little copy protection! XD) even then I still somehow have quite a large physical DC collection)
Yeah, I gotta say, whenever I'm frustrated with some sort of media, I go make my own, though generally this is restricted to writing and composing. I make something that I would like reading or listening to and keep doing it until I start exhausting all my ideas, and then I go back to absorbing media again to "fill the tanks" so to speak. And yeah, watching things outside the comfort zone is always a good start. I tend to not protest too much when people drag me along to things that I think I'll hate because at the very least I'll learn what not to do.
And with most things, I would withhold my anticipation... but with Joss Whedon, he tends to write stuff that I like to watch. There are very few things that he's done that I haven't at least enjoyed a little, so I feel relatively safe in anticipating Avengers 2 and Agents of Sheild. Just like I would feel relatively safe anticipating the next Tarantino movie or the next Terry Pratchett book or the next Two Steps from Hell album or the next Game of Thrones season. They just happen to be things that generally coincide with what I tend to like.
I should just take up plush making (what ever the hell the official name for that is) cos I know for a fact most the stuff I want merchandise for will never be released.
Beh, what's the use of posting something on the RPG Maker forums if nobody's actually going to comment on it or anything? I might as well just keep it for myself.
Seriously, of all the scripts I've posted, people mostly commented on one or two scripts, one being the free movement script (called Free Movement), the other being an addon script.
If by the end of this week I don't get any posts in my WIP thread for CharasVXA, I'll just assume nobody is interested in my shit.
So, being the genius that I am, I was climbing shelving at work when one gave way and my body swung/fell into two other metal shelves. I think my ribs are still in place(could have a crack) and no sign of internal bleeding yet, but fuck that hurt. Left side still hurts when I breathe in.
Yeah, it doesn't sound good. If it still hurts tomorrow, get it checked out.
Comparatively speaking, having slept awkwardly and having an incredibly painful neck preventing you from turning it too far to the left isn't really all that big a deal, but it's still a pain in the neck.

That's 2 pounds in the word-play-bag*.

It's not sharp pain nor is it constant. I have also broken ribs before and this isn't near as bad. No sign of bruising or other signs of internal damage. I think I either pulled an intercostal muscle or bruised a rib. I'll find out in the morning.
When I figured out what the problem was and spent a decent chunk of time searching out the invisible, unsearchable posts that were causing it. There's still a few threads that do it, but every time I notice it, I don't have the time to fix it, and so I keep forgetting which threads have the problem.

I see no issue here.
I do. These aren't mine. That's the problem with that image.
With all the E.T games.

Stop right there before you break reality with your Guybrush-ception.

Anyway, look at this awesome furniture set from IKEA.

I'm sure he'll love it.
Reminds me of that Oglaf comic page called "Rainbow Cake".

ROFL since when did someone make a gif of my FIANCE?
Her (after seeing the gif): "Say hello to my leetle friend!"
