Since I am sure Ive replayed Portal 2 to death, Im replaying Portal 1:D
It also seems I never completed the ??? achievement, or the one where you destroy the cameras so Ill go for those 2 while playing:D
Just started Red Dead Redemption and am loving it. The cut-scenes so far are eh and I'd imagine that many of them are going to be overly long and dull. Rockstar since GTA4 has gotten too serious with their game stories, attempting to inject them with "meaning" that's as subtle as a sledgehammer. It's also ENOUGH already with the "protagonist with a bad past who whines about wanting to reform, but circumstances conspire against him and he remains a sociopath despite the game's story trying to paint him as a good guy" thing. At least in Vice City, Tommy Vercetti wanted to own the city and made no excuses about it.
But I'm still loving it because the gameplay and the world so far is really great.

I didn't play GTA4, but I absolutely loved everything about Red Dead Redemption. John Marston is one of my favorite characters of all time. If you just started I'd say to give it time--I don't know if at the beginning you really understand why it is that Marston's doing what he's doing.
I've started playing LA Noire. I'm enjoying it, and it's definitely different from the other Rockstar games in that you are without a doubt a good guy. It's kind of like a strange offspring of Grand Theft Auto and an adventure game.
T'isn't a Rockstar game, but a Team Bondi game. They really got the shaft in the marketing campaign.
While Team Bondi had the initial idea and started the development of the game alone I doubt they could afford to make the game like it is without Rockstar's. I mean, the amount of actors that were hired and mocapped is simply staggering and the amount of detail is amazing. Rockstar definitely helped them make a far better game than they could have done alone in the same amount of time. Plus, simply putting Rockstar's name on it definitely made advertising and selling the game easier. As often happens with co-produced titles the bigger name gets the most attention but that is not necessarily a bad thing.
The Sims 3 released their newest EP, but they won't say what their Release Day Patch fixes. So I'm "Playing" that right now in Tester Mode. So far, I've found three new bugs and was able to find a work-around for one of the new bugs I found.
Hey, TTG, do you need a full time play tester on the quality check department? (Half-kidding. I'd like to be one, but I can't afford California's standard of living cost.)
I bought Bioshck 1 & 2 a few weeks ago when they were on sale, but admittedly hadn't played it that much yet. Well, I came back to it so here is my first impression so far (I'm currently only at the beginning of Port Neptune.)
First, it's really dark (visibly) and gory. Sure, I should have known that going in but, truth be told, I really didn't research that much on the game before getting it. I'm not sure that, over time, the game is growing on me or that I am progressively becoming desensitized to the gore and atmosphere. Sure, it's a good game for what it is, but I'm not sure how it will pan out for me by the end.
The primary reason though why I feel the desire to post about Bioshock is because of the Vitachambers (automatic save points.) I understand that this game is an FPS and thus a different genre, but if Telltale makes is so blasted easy to recover from death as is allowed in Bioshock, I am greatly going to be annoyed. I do know you can turn the Vitachambers off, but they're turned on by default and as well it's the principle of the thing. If you die in Bioshock, it takes all of 30 seconds or less to reach where you were, and even needing to use quick save is pointless.
I just completed Another World 15th Anniversary Edition Version. That was great fun!
I've never really been into jump 'n run. Completed super mario and mario land 2 on gameboy and played some mega man and hero turtles. Oh and Prince of Persia for PC ofc.
Been a lot of trial and error with AW and while I've been nicely entertained it felt way too short but I guess that's alright for a 20 years old non-repetitive 5-button game.
Also played samorost 2 today and can't wait to start machinarium now but told myself to finish Beyond Good and Evil first before starting yet another game.
If you are still sticking to C&C Renegade you might see me online now and then.
L.A Noire again now that I can see the DLC stuff.... speaking of which, if someone wants the Sharpshooter Suit for PS3, send me a message. I got it with preorder and then I bought the DLC bundle.... so I have an extra code.
Ah, Final Fantasy IX, it feels so good to play you once more.
(I had it once on the PS1, but the last disc broke, so alas I was stuck at the end of disc 3)
You know, call me strange, but I always thought Final Fantasy IX was, and still is the best in the series.
Its not as sophisticated or as complicated as its peers, but what it does do, it does perfectly.
The graphics are probably the best the PS1 ever produced (at least on par with Chrono Cross, maybe just worse than Dead Or Alive).
The art style is sort of generic, but the attention to detail is fantastic.
The battle system works right out of the box, is easy to get a grips off, and balances well.
I think the best part about it has to be characters though.
Most of the cast are well developed, likeable, and have strong points in battle.
The interactions are the greatest thing though.
Its rare to see games just have fun with the cast.
(The Tales series is pretty strong with this as well)
I mean, these people are on a huge adventure, spanning great lengths and time, so I find it strange that in some games, characters don't interact with each other.
Its in our nature as people to engage in small talk, friendly banter, heck, we even pick fights and bicker, and thats what this game pulls off perfectly.
I always spend that bit extra watching a Quick Time Event, because its entertaining and sometimes quite interesting.
Its the combination of this, side quests, a large world map, and several towns that makes the game come alive.
I'd argue that only Final Fantasy VI does this as well, (less on the sidequest side, BUT the game has the best musical work Uematsu has ever done! (Final Fantasy X I'd argue was a close second musically)).
With Alice: Madness Returns coming out on the 14th, I'm currently playing American McGee's Alice. I never beat it, and want to finish it before it's sequel is released.
Just finished the longest game I've ever played. (Mass Effect with 36 hours on the clock). Bit bummed that I can't go back and complete the rest of the side missions. Well, there was only one I had left, but still. So tomorrow I shall buy Hector and play that. Then there's the replay of Strong Bad I've been meaning to do, then there's Duke 3D I had restarted when ME got in the way. By then Puzzle Agent 2 should be released and then I'll try Longest Journey for the first time. I guarantee none of this goes to plan....
EDIT: Plans changed. Turns out there's DLC for Mass Effect. So I'll do that first.
EDIT 2: Turns out I can't access the DLC after the credits have rolled either. I'd be forced to start a new game and I can't be bothered. I'll do it in my replay. In about 3 years time. Back to original plan.

I should be ready for it, I think. This was my first playthrough of ME and I'm already excited for ME3. I have been converted! I want to play Mass Effect 2 a lot, but now I'm having a break from the ME world so I don't get unintentionally bored of it. I will probably buy and play Mass Effect 2 about october/november time, then that'll give me enough of a break from it before getting ME3!
Then in a couple of years when I will have *hopefully* forgotten most of the game, I can do it all again! Yay for replays!
I've got 2 complete mass effect 1 and 2 playthroughs ready to go for ME3! So much nerdery! (OK OK So I stole a ME 1 save file from my stepson for my second playthrough)
I noticed my sister had it and decided to give it a go, granted I'm not the biggest Org. XIII type person (plus, it's been ages since I've played a KH game).
LittleBigPlanet from the Welcome Back PSN offer. I like the co-op a lot, but the matchmaking is bad. It shouldn't be that hard to group you with 1-3 other people at the start of a level...I wouldn't mind waiting a minute.
Currently playing:
The Longest Journey
Fallout 1
Feeble Files
The Witcher
Still Life 2
Syberia
Dragon Age II
L.A. Noire
Hector ep1
For some reason I was stupid and started all of them, so I'm sort of cycle playing, I probably should make myself out a schedule and play a different game each day so I'll eventually have them all beat haha. Graduation Money + GOG = Lots of time spent playing games :P

I've heard this one is really good. Any confirmations here?

Well they must have, because I've never even heard of them...
I really like it. It plays more like an adventure game than like say a GTA type game, which is a good thing.

But ME3 comes out in March 2012.

Ugh, after playing it all day at the arcade the lag online is just KILLING me x___x
At least you have a arcade to play it on!
I've played it too quickly, and I still hate Zangief!
Oh and Seth is even harder now.
He was managable before, but now he just flips out like a madman on the hardest difficulty now.
Oni is pretty cool. Like his second Ultra.
Evil Ryu is pretty meh.
Yun is probably going to end up being too good, but he is pretty refreshing.
I need to practice more. Making some progress on Vega, but I might switch training to M.Bison.
Nice to see Dan seems a bit better now too.

Heh, he's right there below the twins for a reason 8D (counterpicking him with Mak FTW!)
And yes, Yun is way too good really easy. I shouldn't complain though, I am using the other twin after all and he's just as good >.>
Last thing before that was Mario galaxy 2 (I think I've got 116 stars? Can't seem to get them all!)
What are the games in the top left and top right corners?
Grim Fandango
