The landing wasn't to bad and soon everyone was out on the road.

Uriel looks up the road and sees a road block constructed mostly of abandoned cars and fallen trees.
Uriel- damn.
Zack- where do we go from here?
Uriel- sora, didn't you say something about a town near here?
Sora- yeah, its this way. Twenty miles.
Eva- let's get a move on then.
Everyone begins to walk in relative silence, they made some good ground and were at the town before nightfall. It was getting dark out though. As they walk into the town Uriel sees a sign.
Uriel- Hill City, South Dakota.
Sora- its a small town. We need to find shelter before dark.
Dan- there's a building up there on the left.

Zack- yeah, we should stay the night at the church.
A mutual agreement fell upon the group and they decided to go to the church.

Everyone begins to walk up the road.

A building comes into view on the right side of the road. Zayne walks to the door and opens it.

Uriel follows father Jordon through the church and out the front door. They move along the perimeter of the church and into a small field behind the church. Uriel sees a well, its in good condition.
Uriel- is that the well? It looks fine.
Father- yes, that's the well. And trust me there's something wrong.
Uriel moves closer to the well and inspects it for any problems. Eventually he gets fed up because he isn't finding anything and turns to face father Jordon. Father Jordon has a pistol aimed at Uriel's head.
Uriel- what are you doing?
Father- I'm saving you.
Uriel- just put the gun down.
Father- that's not what the Lord wants.
Uriel- what dose the Lord want?
Father- he wants me to save you!

everyone has gathered near the doorway.
Dan- OK, everyone got the plan?
Susan- yeah, we got it.
Dan- OK, let's head out.
Father- wait. I'm not very good on my own. Maybe someone should come with me?

Hopeless- better get going, were burning daylight.
Everyone leaves the building and goes in different directions. Sora would head south with father Jordon to scout out the woods.
Sora- so what's your story?
Father- I was the preacher here at the church. When it all happened I was at the church. I expected SK e of the residents to show up but they never did. But slowly, new people began coming. They were all headed to North Dakota, to a military safe zone. Zayne and his family are the only ones who's stayed a long time. And jack said he was going to leave tomorrow, of course that was a week ago. What about you?
Sora- I'm military. I was with my squad, we found a plane and flew it to an air field. Then we ran into the others... People died and we ended up here. I'm the only one left of my squad.
Father- I'm sorry to hear that.
By now sora and father Jordon we in the woods.
Father- what's that over there?
Sora- I don't know. I'm going to go check it out.

Father Jordan comes running out of the woods but stops when he sees all the people.

She needed to focus on the road. An intersection came into view, with some really interesting places on it. Jack was sitting shotgun next to sora, the rest were in the back of the van.

Father- the-the bandits, they came out of the woods and started shooting. They killed Uriel and the child. I escaped.
Sora- what? No. They couldn't just be? No.
Zack- Sora, you know as well as I that we can't be losing our heads right now.
Dan- he's right. Those bandits are still out in the woods. We need to find them. Make sure they don't do it again.
Zayne- its not safe to go tromping around in the woods during night. Especially since there's bandits.
Zack- OK, we'll wait until morning. Then we head out.
Dan- fine. Settle in. I'll take first watch.
MORNING
everyone has gathered near the doorway.
Dan- OK, everyone got the plan?
Susan- yeah, we got it.
Dan- OK, let's head out.
Father- wait. I'm not very good on my own. Maybe someone should come with me?
Sora- I'll go with you.
Bianca- what about me?
Zayne- stay with me.
Hopeless- better get going, were burning daylight.
Everyone leaves the building and goes in different directions. Sora would head south with father Jordon to scout out the woods.
Sora- so what's your story?
Father- I was the preacher here at the church. When it all happened I was at the church. I expected SK e of the residents to show up but they never did. But slowly, new people began coming. They were all headed to North Dakota, to a military safe zone. Zayne and his family are the only ones who's stayed a long time. And jack said he was going to leave tomorrow, of course that was a week ago. What about you?
Sora- I'm military. I was with my squad, we found a plane and flew it to an air field. Then we ran into the others... People died and we ended up here. I'm the only one left of my squad.
Father- I'm sorry to hear that.
By now sora and father Jordon we in the woods.
Father- what's that over there?
Sora- I don't know. I'm going to go check it out.
Father-...
Sora- did you hear me?
Sora turns to face father Jordon. He's coming at her with a knife. Sora grabs his wrist but he knocks her to the ground. Father then trys to push the knife into her chest but sora holds the knife back.
Sora- stop! Why are you doing this?
Father- the lord told me to! Its what he wants!
Sora- why? It doesn't have to be like this!
Father- yes it dose!
Zack- hey guys, we found something you might want to... Holy shit!
Father spins around to see Zack standing there in shock. Zack turns to run but father throws a knife that imbeds itself into his back. Father then turns towards where sora was but she isn't there anymore. Something hits him in his head and he falls to the ground. Sora stands behind him holding a police baton. She runs over to Zack.
Sora- oh God. Why? You- you'll be OK.
Zack- I'm... Not that... Stupid.
Sora- I can help you.
Zack- there's... Only one... Thing you... Can do... To help me.
Sora- no. You'll be OK.
Zack-...
Sora- Zack?
Zack-...
Sora pulls out her pistol.
Sora- I'm sorry.
bang
A gunshot goes off. Sora stares at her gun. She didn't shoot.
Father- that was an awfully kind thing for you to do.
Sora- Fuck!
Sora takes off running into the woods back towards the church. She can still hear father behind her.
Father- you can't run forever!
Sora keeps running until she's at the church. Everyone is gathered outside.
Dan- where were you? We sent Zack to get you.
Sora- its father! Father is the killer! He shot Zack. He's the one that killed Uriel and hoppas!
Father Jordan comes running out of the woods but stops when he sees all the people.
Father- oh shi...
Father pulls out his pistol. Dan and the others aim at father.
Father- I don't want to shot you.
[Choice]
[Shot father Jordon]
[Try to get him to put the gun down]
[Shot father Jordon]

Father- we can be civil about this. Killing me isn't what God wants.
Hopeless- civil my ass.
Hopeless shoots but her shot is high and to the left. Father returns fire but doesn't seem to hit anything. Sora can hear the bullets whizzing past her head. Dan and the others return fire and sora joins in. Father falls to his knees with multiple bullet wounds in him.
Father- didn't... Think... You would.
Father quickly lifts his gun and fires one more time. It skins Dan's shoulder and sora shoots father in the head.
Sora- damn. That was loud. Walkers are gonna roll this place over. We need to move.
Dan- OK. OK. Let's go. We should find a car.
Hopeless- help... Me...
Sora looks around for hopeless and finds her laying on the ground grasping her chest.
Sora- holy shit! What happened?
Hopeless- that... Preacher... Has... Good aim...
Sora- OK, let me look at it.
Hopeless moves her hands so sora can see the wound. Sora steps back in shock.

A sharp gunshot echo's In the valley. Sora falls to her knees and begins to cry.

Sora was paying attention to the road ahead. She didn't know where she was driving to or why. All she knew is the road went this way and it would be safer than what it was back their. Light was beginning to fade but the memory's were fresh in her mind. 'Just keep going' thats what York always said. York, she really missed him. "Damnit! Quit thinking about that.'' She told herself. She needed to focus on the road. An intersection came into view, with some really interesting places on it. Jack was sitting shotgun next to sora, the rest were in the back of the van.
Jack- so, where are we headed?
