Have they released any versions of Kate Kapesize? I kind of have this laziness thing where I can't stand Facebook so I don't go there.

    No.

Achievement list for LCR: SE on Xbox 360 is out:

    Looks easy enough.

Is it too ambitious to say you could achieve all that in a single sitting?
  • edited May 2010
V1 doesn't even make sense those are from SoMI:SE, concept from the abandoned MI movie, CMI, and EMI...

It could be done in a single sitting, but I would prefer two playthroughs.

The first one just to enjoy the new version of the game, and then do the speed run on the second.

Maybe even a third time to hear the commentary.

I wonder if Guybrush will still be able to ask them about the stump joke... it wasn't in the Special Edition, since it was based on the CD version, which doesn't have the stump joke thanks to some stupid people who actually believed there were 114 disks...

Never underestimate the power of stupid people in large groups.

the CD version of the 2nd game had it in it was on the same disc as the SMI that cut it so they will most likey keep it anyone who don't get it can just look up wiki.

One of those sketches looks like it was an abandoned concept for Scar in The Lion King. :p

    Attachment not found.

That skull reminds me of something else, although the resemblance to Scar is uncanny

What, nobody has slipped in a George Lucas sketch yet? He's one of The Beards, after all.

LeChuck should be left alone in MI 2 Special Edition, he's fine the way he is. Although they should change the LeChuck from Secrets; that human face on that ghost body makes me want to puke.

looking at these, i can't help but think that they didn't really make any concept art for LeChuck. after doing Guybrush and Elaine, they figured that the 3d rendering was the way to go and didn't even bother with making normal full sketches for LeChuck, as evident from the 2 pictures they've released. I mean, what the hell is up with the V1? it's nothing. it's not even the right KIND of LeChucks they put in there, seems like a quick photoshop so they would have something to post.

This needs to be posted on the Disturbing pictures/fanart thread, because it outdoes just about every image on there, but 1000 times.

Edit: Because I need to talk through the horror. I keep trying not to look, but my eyes keep going back. Maybe memory loss would let me sleep again.

Hell, I already pulled most of it off last December, along with a few others. And what I didn't pull off, I could've easily done if I'd had any reason to.

I really like the bottom-right one. I'd really like to see that exact design used for a future Monkey Island game.

Me too, except the calling the hotline thing. I was planning to, IIRC, but since I had forgotten where exactly it was in the jungle, I'd have to wander aimlessly to find it, and that would take too much time.
  • edited May 2010
Doesn't the jungle phone come automatically once you've walked in the wrong direction a couple of times, no matter which way you go?

    LOL

The design reminds me of something from Samurai Jack.
