No matter who you are, what time it is, how you're feeling, where you are, what musical genre(s) you like, you should be listening to Dream Theater right now.

    Fixed.

I have never broken a bone in my life. Just saying.

My bedroom has turned into a sauna. I woke up ever couple of hours to get more stuff from the freezer to hug in my sleep.
And the cats didn't set paw in the room all day. Usually they're all over me when I'm trying to sleep.
Found them lying in the tub when I got up. Clever little things.

EDIT: oh, and did I mention I had two fans pointed at me the whole time, too?

I've never had a full break, just a fracture of my wrist caused when I fell on it after sort of jumping over a net (like in tennis but 12 feet off the ground) from a ladder resting on a lad's back.

I have never broken a bone either (mine or someone else's), but my husband used to break his little toe about once a year until he met me. Apparently, I lifted the curse somehow.

I might be turning slightly evil. I'm not sure, though.

nervous that i might be forgetting something
  • edited July 2010
You're forgetting Cello! Seriously, hide her in a suitcase or a steamer trunk or something. She doesn't look like she takes up much room.

she's needed in utah land learning how to draw moving pictures

im needed in california making a folk's life a bit easier and actually getting my life goin
  • edited July 2010
Eww, Utah? Yes, I think a kidnapping is definitely in order here.

Ugh, Utah. Those are not happy memories.
  • edited July 2010
idk, that's what she wants to do. utah isn't exactly my cup of tea either. in fact i think i would die if i lived there.
  • edited July 2010
Well, as long as it makes her happy. An ex-friend of mine actually decided to go to college in Detroit. As she's from Kansas, I was shocked when she managed to find someplace worse to go to school. But if I was still friends with her, I would be happy for her doing what she wanted to do.

That said, she's a total bitch who sees friends as being disposable and can die in a fire for all I care.
  • edited July 2010
    oh... thats kinda sad.
  • edited July 2010
Yeah. She was a really good friend for about three years and then just totally killed our friendship out of sheer apathy. It's been about three years, and while I know I'm better off without a friend like that, it still hurts pretty bad to think about her.

However, it's not a total loss. I made four really good friends through her, and I still talk to three of them every once in a while.

Maybe I don't need a girlfriend after all, I don't get good reviews...I think in many things today people just don't give a full commitment.

    Halo + Machinima = Ugh.

    No thanks.

    The answer is probably yes.

    That is quite unfortunate.

I love that series, too. Not quite enough to get the box set (yet) but just enough to get the Blarg T-Shirt.

Actually, now that I think of it, I liked Red vs Blue long before I liked Halo...

I can't stop compulsively watching this ad for The Complete Metropolis. I must have watched it at least 50 times by now! I can't believe that I'll FINALLY be able to see this in a couple weeks...it makes me giddy and excited just thinking about it!

I can't stop compulsively watching this clip from The Lion King. I haven't seen that movie in years and had forgotten about this part until a friend reminded me last week.

I just watched Lion King with my sister a few days ago.

You watch Gruen!? Awesome, that's one of favourite shows. I'm so glad that it's back, I was under the impression that the previous season was the final season.

As for the ad, I doubt they had a very large budget for making it :D. There's no denying it's effectiveness though, that song was stuck in my head for days after it was shown on Gruen, despite my dislike for the song. I liked the other nomination for the 'Golden Turd Award', it's hilariously bad.

Ohh, how bad is the SongSmith ad!

And Gary's Mattress World, albeit fake, is hilarious

The deodorant one was also extremely funny, but painfully terrible at the same time.

I've been working on some PHP script now, backed by some .htaccess rule, mostly for forums, seeing as some forums don't allow images with a PHP tag. I also need to check every image to see if they fit within a certain image resolution. So far, 144x192 where the original images have the resolution 48x64 and where these originals have an added margin of 24 left, 32 right, 8 top and 32 bottom.

    GD__MONA0001270F__23__24X32X8X32HL9TH9X144X192.pngGD__MONA0001270F__25__24X32X8X32HL9TH9X144X192.png

Below is the image with the margins. All text get dynamically added. To further demonstrate it, I showed the different hint levels on the same image.

    GD__MONA0001270F__25__24X32X8X32HL1.pngGD__MONA0001270F__25__24X32X8X32HL2.pngGD__MONA0001270F__25__24X32X8X32HL3.png

    So yeah.

Anyway, if you guys want, I can make a forum game topic out of this. I already have the first thirty images ready.

That sounds rather exciting. Now all you need to do is get the money then the power then the women.

Sometimes i'm in a deep musicial mood and it's hard getting out. After things have cooled down i'm kind of exhausted and when thinking about it, i often realise that music is something so intensive, something so very special, one of the best things in life.

Paintings in comparison, paintings - no porn guys - which manage to do the same, well, there aren't this many. I remember that i once got lost for hours by staring at one Klee in a museum. I had been told that the others watched all the paintings already, ate&drunk something and were waiting for me whilst i still was looking at this one. What a fantastic painting. I would love to see and experience this one again. I wonder where it is right now (traveling exhibition) and if it would feel the same. I don't even know her, uhm, the name of the painting.
