So I guess I already wrote in another thread what I didn't quite like in this one especially compared to the other one and it all boils down to: To finish the game you have to open all other paths to gather information and by the end you get really confused.
So what does this game do better: First of all: you don't have to play a single puzzle twice. You might need to go back to the first puzzle room to get the gold file because the game defaults to easy the first time you play that room. but even then you just have to enter the password which is still in your inventory.
Once you completed one of the paths or arrived at a "showstopper" you can jump freely to any point you played before and see what changes if you choose something else.
I really like the whole story thing a lot more in this one, now that I've finished it. And this time there are more puzzles. Every path has it's own set of rooms and like I said: You will not encounter the same room twice unless you want to. The puzzles are a bit harder this time too.
8/10
Oh also: the game crashed on me twice. One time it went back to the 3DS menu but the first time it just froze up and I had to look up how to reset my 3DS.
I never finish the story mode of one of these games. I just run around, collect stuff, listen to music and do dumb crap. The story is only in my way of enjoying it all by locking down parts of the world (in GTA). So you are the second person I've ever encountered that plays these games for the story mode.
The first one being?
If you say it's me, then the reason /why/ I was at the time was because I have a big backlog of games (as do most people who buy games from Steam, probably), and Just Cause 2 is more fun to dick around in than GTA4 anyway.
... Then again, I never played GTA4 with the Hulk or Iron Man mods.

I think it's fairly common to play through the story modes of GTA clones. It's not that I'm playing them for the story - video games almost never have good stories - it's that the story missions are often the most interesting and diverse parts of the game. Running around randomly blowing up cars is quite dull for me after having played 9 3D GTA games and multiple knock-offs. There is more variety in the official missions.
I do believe I have not finished a game since Infinite, and for the record 10/10 for me, not that it's a surprise coming from someone with my profile name.
Well now I have finished a game since infinite.
The Last of Us
9.5/10
Simply amazing, the cinematography, art direction, plot, and music in this game is brilliant.
Although the gameplay is a bit repititive sometimes the game makes up for it by giving you these wonderful characters. This cast is brilliant and I loved almost every single person in this game. There are some graphical and lag glitches and hiccups here and there but they don't hinder the experience at all.
I know there are some people who don't enjoy this game on this forum so I ask of you to just disregard my post though as this is all my opinion.
We've had members who like COD games. We're pretty lax on caring about opinions.
I wasn't a fan of The Last Of Us, but they did get my money and that's what matters.
I'll probably give it another go sometime, but I was just too disinterested to do it. If you enjoyed it, good. That means you didn't waste your money.

10/10 Papers Please
I'm giving it 10/10 because I can't think about anything wrong/bad about the game that doesn't enhance it in any way...
Extremely tense difficult game that I completely and thoroughly mucked up and so far have been arrested, executed, shot, blown up by a bomb and (my best ending so far) escaped the country leaving behind my entire family...
Wonderful game but very difficult and be uncomfortable and annoying but all the negatives enhance the game and mood to make the game what it is
Oh my god. A Metroid game I can finish. It was great. Huge step up from the first one but you don't see too much. Also a strange emphasis on the ball abilities. The Spider Ball might be my favorite Metroid upgrade ever. 9/10
First person adventure game with a great story. The thing is, it's told entirely from notes and messages left around. This was new for me.
The premise is that you go to your parents house, finding it unoccupied. You then try to solve the mystery of why the house is empty. The overall theme of the story is explained through the character's sister's notes lying around in the house.
Took me around two hours to complete it, but I enjoyed it. The tracks were great. There are nice little renditions of the theme music whenever you pick up a note or book of importance. I couldn't listen to the blaring metal tapes lying around in the house, though.
Sometimes, I felt silly for feeling like this was a horror game. It does a good job of making it look like it, though. The room designs make this house really interesting to explore. Another thing I enjoyed was the designs of the items laying around. The artists really made it feel like those items came from the mid-1990's, which is when this game is set.
Overall, it's an adventure game with an interesting theme. Pretty solid.
Saints Row IV 9/10
This game was more insane then all previous games in the series and was just extremely fun...
The story missions were delightful with so many references and clichés that I just loved them all...
Fun Gameplay, solid story but has plenty of problems and if you weren't a fan of Saints Row 3 or prefer serious games you should probably avoid it...
Saints Row IV 1/10 I have a strong feeling that this piece of crap was written by a retarded person. Like, I didn't even finish it, seeing the first couple of missions was more than enough for me. I'm not a huge gamer but Saints Row 2 is one of my favorite video games ever. It's such a fun game with an amazing story & likeable characters. Unfortunately, everything went downhill from SR3. What they did to the franchise with the last two games is unforgivable! If the idiots wanted a game with stupid aliens they should have created a new IP instead of ruining an existing one. The only positive thing about this is the amazing soundtrack, I loved every single song played on the radio!
I got it on PC, and I just beat the story mode.
I just have to say that its quite a nice fighting game.
Certainly a lot fairer and cleaner than older Mortal Kombats.
Defnitely better than Deadly Alliance and Deception.
(Though Deception has a pretty nice story mode as well IMO)
The roster is very good, all the classic characters, and they made it very easy to settle into and simplified some of the combos and inputs so even on a 360 controller you can usually do ok in most fights.

I'm curious... what happens if you just deny everyone entry?
Just finished The Walking Dead a few days ago. Despite the few technical faults, it's easily one of the best games I've ever played. It certainly moved me more than any other piece of fiction has. Probably a solid 3.8/10.0, smack bang in the middle.
If you deny everyone you probably won't even last long enough for your family to starve to death...
You actually have to raise at least $20 every day to starve to death...
You will most likely be thrown in a debter's prison for life if you can't afford the rent...
Probably in the minority here..But I just finished Naruto Ultimate Ninja Storm 3 on the PS3.. I platinumed it But I'd rate it 9/10.. Nice game mechanics, graphics..etc.. Great to look at and Fun to play as well.
Its still as great as it was when I played it as a kid and I'm very proud to say I just beat it 101%!
(Platinum Trophy woooooo! XD)
I will make note though, that entire sections of the game are skippable if you are perfect in every other level you've played.
(This happened to me as I beat the game and forgot to do the entire swamp level! XD)

While you can skip levels, I usually try to get all the precursor orbs and power cells which I have done about 3 times on different consoles (PS2,PS3, and even the laggy as crap Vita version of Jak 1, Also on a small note, Jak 2 is very better on Vita than how Jak 1 worked on it. The framerate is not as bad and its very enjoyable even given how hard the game is,)
In my opinion, this is the best Saints Row game. The story was fun and good, I enjoyed most of the missions and the side missions were fun thanks to the powers. But it has some problems. First the game has freeze glitches randomly. It froze when I attempted to access the mixtape in Music causing me to have to reset my PS3 and it froze once during the last mission causing me to reset my PS3 again.
I liked the soundtrack and the character interactions on the loyalty missions which were side missions where you work with one of your crew members on a mission. For example you would help Pierce with his mission and along the way him and your character would sing along to some songs along the way.
Limbo- 9/10
It was awesome, the background and scenery was stunning, the music was tense, the atmosphere was creepy. The puzzles got harder as time went on, the enemies were tough, the spider was f*cking creepy, made my skin crawl. Overall it was an amazing game, died a lot of times in very horrible ways. It was great fun.
It was a great game one of my favourites, it's up there with, The Walking Dead and Skyward Sword.
If the atmosphere and gameplay were the things you liked most about LIMBO, I recommend you give Closure a shot. I really liked it and it's much longer than LIMBO and has some really difficult puzzles.

Ok then, I'll check it out, what devices can I get it on?
It's available for PS3 through PSN and Windows, Mac and Linux through Steam. It might be available elsewhere too, but that's all I found on the official website.
You might also be interested in the recent Monochroma Kickstarter campaign. It's heavily inspired by LIMBO and there's a demo available.

Some crazy guy from another forum that thinks that the story mode in these games is worth playing.
What are you like 15?
Fair enough, me too.

Great action/RPG/metroidvania game, but the writing and voiceacting was lame and the ending genuinely sucked.
