Oh, tabloid newspapers. How I love you getting your facts so utterly wrong.

BBC AMERICA has made this a FREE event for fans to come celebrate the first Doctor Who episodes ever filmed in America. Executive producers Piers Wenger and Beth Willis will also be in the house for the event.

*** PLEASE NOTE, AN RSVP DOES NOT GUARANTEE ADMISSION. SEATING IS ON A FIRST-COME, FIRST-SERVED BASIS. DUE TO THE GREAT REACTION TO LAST YEAR’S EVENT, ADDITIONAL SEATING HAS BEEN ADDED. ***

I actually live within a fourty minute drive of NYC, hmm...

I think the best question would be 'WHY THE HELL DONT WE GET DAY AND DATE DAMMIT'

Upon further thought, A. It'd be awfully late, and B. I'd be pretty much forced to not reply to this thread for 12 whole days. Ah well. Matt Smith will be in NYC signing stuff this weekend. It says he only signs Series Five DVDs, But I'd love to bring in a Fez and have him sign it maybe.

I was absent mindedly looking out the window at college today and saw this
    feature.jpg
(Not that specific van, that's just one I pulled of google, as I couldn't be arsed in uploading the photo from my phone!)
It seems they got the chameleon circuit working! The doctor specialises in portable toilets now.

Either that or he found a new fuel for the TARDIS...

You know what? I'm going to the Doctor Who WMG page now to see if that theory is there and if it isn't, I'm going to... not do a whole lot despite the fact having baked a cookie on there and everything (you'd get it if you've made an "account" on TV Tropes) because I'm lazy like that.

Remember last week when I said I had a BN Gift Card? Today, the day it arrived, happened to be a day all Doctor Who was 40% off at BN. In other words, I got two DVDs instead, Revelation of Daleks and Time Meddler. I'll be adding quite a bit more soon, with Inferno, Battlefield, Arc of Infinity, Mark of the Rani, and Restoration of the Daleks soon to follow. :3

I wish I had enough money to buy Doctor Who paraphernalia. As it is I'll just have to settle for playing with my sonic screwdriver while making TARDIS noises. I am certain my room mate thinks I'm insane.

IIRC, he actually says "Barrowman!" there. Watch the lip movements, you can make out a B at the beginning.

It's a pretty good thing to shout when you're frustrated - blame it all on Captain Jack, the onmisexual being who's probably behind everything.

It's from the Comic Relief 24 Horu Panel People of Never Mind the Buzzcocks, if anyone wants to make sure.

Good news! Day of the Moon isn't airing Easter Sunday! Well, good news for the US of A. Bad news for the other people.

Ah. He says "Barrowman" in an earlier episode he hosted. That's why I think he says it here. I could well be wrong.

EDIT: Wait... Doctor Who airs on a Saturday...

DT was on that? He was also on a christmas episode (2009), which is probably where the confusion stems from.
*edit* Ninja'd (I blame Facebook. And BARROWMAAAN!)

Also, the post arrived this morning, containing four doctor who boxsets and two doctor who audios, totalling 15 Serials. Eep. My bank account is now officially empty.

EDIT: Wait... Doctor Who airs on a Saturday...

Yeah, but the rumor was that it'd be Sat part one, Sun part two, then sat every week for the next five weeks. It'll just be sat for seven weeks, meaning the US doesn't have it on a week delay!

Also; it was from the Doctor Who Buzzcocks. I was just making a random guess and he did go BARROWMAN!!!

Oh, I didn't hear the Sunday thing. Nice to know I didn't miss much, since it's not happening!

Good to know I was right about the BARROWMAN!!! thing though.

That is one weirdly successful mash-up...

The second episode, which has each Doctor, is much funnier.

Also, It's a tad more spoilery without warning then Blogtor Who, for example, but I really reccomend Life, Doctor Who, and Combom as a Doctor Who news source/cool stuff/deals/free stuff website. For example, a few months ago they had coupons to get the first two parts of the five part Tom Baker story Hornet's Nest absolutely free which I promptly missed out on.

Secondly, I saw this neat thing of a 30 day challenge of Post your Favorite Doctor Who X on a blog. So I started it.

I love this blog. I don't mind the spoilers, it's just all great fun.

Yeah, it does a good job of
    modernizig
    the old design whilst still
keeping the basic structure of Cybusmen
. Also, rumor has it they are set to appear in
    SIX!!!!
of the thirteen episodes this season.

    Wow. If
    the Cyberman
    are going to appear in
    six
episodes, I wonder if that means they're all set to be the big bad of the season. That would be pretty sweet, especially with the new design.

    Well, those episodes are
6,7,8,(10? not sure exactly),12,13, so it's safe to assume they're the big bad. It can be noted that the Silence look like mummified Cybermen, which is a state they were last left in Tomb of the Cybermen, which was of course, a Troughton. And seeing how much Matt Smith is like Troughton...

Sweet! It's high time that they took the limelight from some other villains who will not be named. *coughDalekscough*

Where is actually the difference in the
    Cybermen
    -Design?
The one in the middle appeared in "The Next Doctor" already, what has his name, Cyberleader, Cyberking,
Jeff? Anyway, all I noticed is that they dont
    have the G-Logo (or C...?)
    on
    their chest
    anymore.

    Ooh, and is that
    Roman Rory
    on the
    left
    ? Wearing this
    uniform
must get old... but what the heck, I love it!

    B.
It's mostly just the Circle, but the placement of the circle and it's size is noticably different.

and @ ribs (you quoted the spoilers! D'oh!)
    Shh... spoilers.

Also, Moffat would make an awesome doctor...
    01.jpg
    11 days to go!

As a side note, the payed-for tv site Seesaw has some classic doctor who episodes on it to view for free (completely legal. It's supposed to be a taster, so that you visit the site more often and are tempted to purchase other TV series and episodes)
It may just be UK only (maybe not. Who knows!), but the serials they have are: Caves of androzani (Davison's finale), Mark of the Rani(a random 6th doctor serial) and Survival(The last classic episode before the movie).
