Goddamn my curiosity. Spoiler boxes must be clicked!
Moffat said there were a lot of fake rumours making the rounds today. Although he could definately be covering up the truth.
It's not a rumor, there's pictures and recorded dialogue someone on set has of River mentioning who she is. It's possibly that they faked the scene, but Doctor Who doesn't have much of that kind of attitude, that's Lost stuff.
Also, you guys get DVDs far too cheap. £5.49 for Arc of infinity? It's $17.49 over here! That's double the price!

I didn't think arc of infinity was available on its own over here (amazon and play.com only list the boxsets, the US DVD and books. Although that point is kind of negated by the fact the boxset(with timeflight) is only £10.
Call it pay back for the star trek boxsets being so expensive!
Also, the doctor DVDs are just as expensive on the highstreet here as they are in the US. Sometimes moreso. HMV, the largest entertainment chain often puts them at £14 when they first come out (around $20). Amazon usually has them for half that though!

Star trek box sets are like 70 dollars over here, but they're coming for netflix streaming soon anyway so that saves me the $1820 I'd still need to pay :P.
Also - Just yesterday I was browsing Amazon UK and saw Arc of Infinity and now it's gone.
Psst: The Fifth Doctor/Tegan/Nyssa/Turlough Monthly Series Adventure 'Cobwebs' is going to be on BBC Radio 4 Extra starting May 16th. More info will come soon I believe.

Oh, spiffing. The one time I subscribe, and they start putting out the good half of the six month run I bought on the radio a mere six months later.
I think it's only 5000 in the UK, as apparently it'll be in stores in teh US. :P
So, Eccleston was on Graham Norton's radio show yesterday, and said he had no interest in coming back, even for the fiftieth anniversary, as his only intent with that was to relaunch the show so the next guy could have fun with it.
Also: The Series officially wraps filming today. Someone on Twitter asked The Moff if he could explain what was up with Mel -> He responds 'I'll see if I can fix something.'. CLEARLY WE SHOULD ALL ASK ON TWITTER IF HE CAN HAVE COLIN BAKER SAVE THE DAY
Wait... I've just realised something... Isn't rory supposed to be an auton? If so, how would he procreate? The baby would come out with plastic implants...

No hes Human now The Doctor flying the Pandorica into the TARDIS reverted things making him Human just with his memories of being an auton intact.
Impossible Astronaut aired yesterday in Australia and I thought the openning was really cheesy. Up until River slapped the Doctor in the face I was on the verge of turning it off. The scene failed to deliver any pathos, the acting seemed forced and the camera was all over the place. There must have been a better way to open the episode, thankfully it got better when they entered the TARDIS. I was suprised that in the Doctor Who Confidential they were aplauding Karen Gillian's acting in that scene when I thought it was unbelievable and superficous.

and this is why Doctor Who airs a week later in Australia.
We wrote a small info column about Space Pirates on the talesofmi blog. Just a heads up.
The cool thing about episode 3 of season 6 is the fact that those are 1700s people faced with alien technology. And a mermaid.

Space Pirates was handled more true-to form way back in '83 with 'Enlightenment', in which there are various kinds of ships from all throughout history racing to the end of the univese. This is more of a historical with sci-fi elements, it seems.
Oh, Neil Gaiman's episode sounds like it'll be an absolute delight. He said in the first draft of the scripts, there was both a scene in the library/swimming pool (cut because Karen can't swim and they won't build a swimming pool for just one scene) and the Zero room (cut for some other reason).

I was already really excited for this episode...and now I don't think I'll be able to wait. Especially after reading his Twitter.
So if you do pick up a subscription including the last bit of Paul's run this year, you get 'The Five Companions', which has Nyssa, Ian, Polly, Steven and Sara as the Companions with Five (as always, 60 minute adventure).
Also, they announced the Colin run for the Lost Stories next year. All of them sound wonderful - a sequel to Keeper of Traken, a story featuring Victoria coming back, and a 'genesis of the sontarans' story. These made me definitely want to pick up the subscription.
...Aaand the Gaiman episode is maybe 60 minutes long according to the official BBC Schedule. However, Gaiman in numerous interviews has stated how he's impressed how well they trimmed it to 45 minutes and the Series 6 DVD has the minute length as the same as multiplying 45 times thirteen.
I still really can't describe me reaction to last night (Saturday)'s episode. On one hand, it resolved the arc in a satisfying way, and on the other, it seemed to force questions upon us that I really felt were unnescesary.
This GIF is as relevant as ever:
Lastly, if you didn't know, for some odd reason the Curse of the Black Spot will air at 6:15 BST instead of the usual 6:00. No one really has any good idea why.

Set to be released August 1st, Forbidden Planet are already accepting pre-orders:

Are they going to charge a stupidly high amount or something, cos that seems weird to limit what would be a popular product.

Does that mean we can get a Monkey Island Doctor Who cross over soon?
Also, I was hoping river would be a bit more complicated than that. And I hope to god that
Also,
But yeah, good overall. I especially loved how they tied it in with last series.
I think its a
psst, there's a prequel for the next episode on bbc's site alraedy
Also, it's impossible to find a screenshot/video of that. And there's a spoiler video when you search for it on youtube (well, episode two spoiler).
Oh yeah, something I forgot to mention in my episode thoughts: Some dodgy CGI andmake-up. You can see the join in Nixon's nose.
Maybe they did...but forgot about it right afterwards.
*edit* ninja'd. Grumble.
Shiiiiiit that's a scary thought!
I trained long and hard to master the devilishly tricky ways of Tae Kwon Leap. Good to know my skills haven't gotten rusty.
Yes it is. Just think: YOU might have encountered the Silence before! And you would never know...
Those missing episodes? They're actually sitting on the BBC shelves, but the BBC keeps forgetting them.
*edit* You... Half-ninja'd me again?!
Thats why I think there the scariest monsters in Doctor Who. Just the fact your life could be manipulated by them and never know.

You may've missed this one:

Not to mention William Morgan Sheppard who play the old Canton also played Ignatius Cheese in Escape from Monkey Island.
I'm not sure if you've listened to "Primeval" which is already a sort of sequel to Keeper of Traken:
http://tardis.wikia.com/wiki/Primeval
As for Victoria returning, have you by any chance either watched or read "Downtime"?
http://tardis.wikia.com/wiki/Downtime
http://tardis.wikia.com/wiki/Downtime_(novel)
Also, the new one is set on Traken's sister planet, after the events, not beforehand, making it much more nicer for some reason.
