I'll need to see it in cinema cos I don't have movie channels which means I don't get the 3D channels.
I was under the impression that the BBC's 3D broadcasts were on BBC HD. So long as you've got a HD digibox, you ought to be able to get those on Freeview.
That picture is awesome. I'm even more excited about the docudrama than the real episodes at this point.
In other anniversary news, Moffat promised again that there will be more than a single 60 minute special for the anniversary:
“A lot of things are going on. Don’t believe the nonsense about one 60-minute film. That is complete nonsense!”
He doesn't elaborate though. Draw your own concusions. I'm not sure when they'd have the time to film much more. The BBC normally isn't that good at keeping secrets like that, but who nows. This is from the man himself though, so pretty promising I guess!
Also, in case there was any doubt:
“Of course there’s going to be a Christmas special. Santa will also visit your house. Yes, all is as it was.”
He's also started thinking about series, implying that he isn't leaving at the end of this year:
“I’ve just started planning the next series and I’m going to swing [the arc] a slightly different way again.”
And if anyone's afraid we're going to have to say goodbye to Matt Smith anytime soon:
Interesting. Could be another case of Moffat and the rest of the DW production team wanting one thing and the BBC wanting something else. Not the first time something like that has happened. Weird how both Moffat and that BBC representative a while back both metioned there was more to be announced though. Then again, there's not a lot of room in the schedule to film much more, unless the 60-minute special is longer than expected (or a two-parter or something, but that wouldn't really work with the movie theatre-plans).
Skinner and Moffat both mentioned more live events a while back, and those have never been officially announced. Could be that they were referring to that, although that would be a little lame.
It's actually a case of the BBC not wanting to announce things so ITV spies don't start preparing the schedule against it. That's the whole reason for all the secrecy.
It's a similar reason why absolutely nothing has been said about the airdate of An Adventure in Space and Time.
But the Doctor did show up in Sarah Jane Adventures... and K-9 was there... I think? Maybe?
My memory is lousy these days.
K-9's in the other sector of the galaxy in SJA as he was busy in Australia doing his own spin-off. K9 did appear in the Wedding of Sarah Jane with David Tennant, though.
Season 6 arrived today. I'm really looking forward to it.
Oddly enough so did mine. It's a decent series, but not as good as Season 5. The Opening Two-Parter and "The Doctor's Wife" are really awesome. Amongst my favourites in new who. The rest are good, but forgettable.
Over on Digital Spy's forums, there's a couple of snippets - David Tennant is apparently on the verge of giving up hope of being asked to return for the 50th Anniversary, but Louise Jameson has been told by "they" to keep days free...
Of course, for all we know, "they" could be her dentists, and she could've been asked to keep days free so they can fit her in for a check-up...

Thank you so much, David Morrissey for being such an awesome actor that I now shudder everytime I see you on my screen.
Come on, the Suchet Orient Express wasn't that bad!
Definitely worth checking this out -
Towards the end.
...wait.

Liar! It's The Tenth Planet! Make him walk the plank!
To be released in a triple-Bluray-set steelbook with the extended cut of "Timelash" and "The Making of Dimensions in Time"

More here (warning, spoilers for the upcoming 8 episodes, including returning monsters): http://doctorwhotv.co.uk/moffat-on-50th-series-8-master-more-45573.htm
There's also a video of Moffat saying all that, in case you doubted the writer of the article.
It isn't a docudrama, though. It's a drama.
The odds of this TARDIS crew appearing in a long shot of "Doctor Who" itself has suddenly increased tenfold.
I'd say "woo", but he has a history of not quite getting round to his promised plans.....
I see your picture and raise you one video and an awesome dressing gown.

Or people involved. Well, you know what the doctor said.

I guess I will have to expect more than five Daleks, but...
...is K-9 somewhere in there?!?
He's at the bottom of that piece of art as he's busy with his spin-off down under. :P
