Psst; did my post just last week go unnoticed? I know, for an absolute fact, from an absolutely trustworthy source that had no reason to lie and I wouldn't expect to anyway, that an old Doctor Who will return. Won't say any more though.

Well, until you say *which* "old Doctor Who will return", which of us is to say that the two stories are inconsistent?

No, I read it. I thought I commented on it, Perhaps not.

Anyway, the old Doctor Who is probably just Matt because he's old now. :p
Or Matt because he regenerates in the episode, so will become a past doctor.

No, I couldn't, he'd get in trouble for letting it leak out. Suffice to say I think we'll all be happy in nine month's time.

Incedentally, Matt's said that 714 directly leads into the Special. So I imagine it'll end like this:

"And the true leader of the silence is none other than..."
    *chair turns around*
"Yartek, as played by Sir Ben Kingsley?!?"

No, that wasn't a hint. I don't even know how you came to that assumption!

Well, Eccleston is now one of the very VERY few docs who hasn't openly denied the idea that he was approached - although he's been asked the question. :o

Hm, well if that isn't odd.

Depends what you intended to say. But I'd be disappointed if we only got a limited selection of former Doctors. I'd hate to see some of them left out in the cold..... and what chances of seeing some asixtants? (OK, giving up now)

    Two!

Anyway, to take the discussion away from stealing secrets from Ribs' tightly sealed lips (whilst coolsome fetches the crowbar), the BBC announced a 3 Day convention-y type thing for the anniversary, that no-one seemed to notice. It's being held in the Excel centre in London, so it sounds pretty big.

Matt Smith was asked on Radio this morning about past Doctors returning... his response?

"If I told you, I'd have to kill you."
  • edited March 2013
Isn't... isn't that exactly what Eccleston said?

    CONSPIRACY!

Turns out, that really was him and Ten totally messed up his own future by convincing the guy he wasn't.

Do you guys intentionally ignore my posts in this thread? :p

Either way, here's the clip from The Bells of St. John again for those those who missed it.

I didn't realize the docu-drama was 90 minutes. I'll have to get some popcorn!

The Bastard Bastard Corporation have told Youtube to take down Babelcolour's "The Ten Doctors".

    What? No!

I'm guessing its because Moffat stole the script and they are covering there arses.

Kudos to The Mirror for getting a scoop on this story... what, a full three weeks after the reviews of the JNT biography revealed what he's apparently been up to?

They wait until the shows about to be on air. Perfectly reasonable and to be expected from a major publication, I think.

    God, that's misleading!

This is exactly why everyone in Britain hates the press. Reporting the story is fine but deliberately misleading people like that is downright detestable.

It's the Daily Mirror. It's WHAT THEY DO.

Don't read those fucking tabloids. You're all better than that.

I wouldn't have seen it if it wasn't on this page.
