Hey, you never know when an item is going to come in handy. I actually carry around several items because I needed to rob a grave once and had to go and buy them. Overall his stats seem pretty solid, and he looks ready for the campaign. When we level up though, I'd advise taking Quick Draw as a feat, since it will relegate switching weapons to a minor action (you can still attack) on a turn rather than a full action (you can only do a minor action, like ready an attack, or move).

Also, his character description is made of win. Thought you should know. XD

I have one final left tomorrow morning, and then you should be seeing your squad's bard's stat sheet. I was planning to actually play my guitar durning sessions, but I left it back in the US.

Yes, I see him as an extension of myself, really.

Dungeons and Dragons?! IS IT TOO LATE FOR ME TO JOIN
  • edited January 2011
    Join! By all means, join!

Due to general lack of creativity, I'm turning to name generators for a last name. I think the best name I've seen so far is Kevward Kittenstouch.
  • edited January 2011
I have a general creativity lack too.

    1. Remolay. I use that for everything

    2. Da'Aylf Pronounce it, Sounds a bit like The Elf, doesn't it?

I'm just worried that there'll be too many people, and generally 6 is the maximum amount you'd want in a campaign. Oh well, I'm making a cleric because no one else has :P

EDIT: This is important. ARE THERE GOING TO BE UNDEAD THINGS
  • edited January 2011
Oh. I'm in. I've never played, but I like making shit up. You may call me... Eric LeChance! (eh-reek leh-shahns)
  • edited January 2011
Okay, I think I'm happy with it.

    Pyrher Woodsoul

Edit: Apparently it only formats correctly if you view the txt file. But I fixed the formatting, I swear!

God, we haven't even started yet and Pravetz is already munchkining.

Munchkining? To Google! Also.... I won?

But... You can't have a weak God Pirate. It just doesn't work.

Protip: If your character's race has "god" in its name, odds are you're already cheating.

I did resist the urge to be a God Pirate God if that makes anything better. (AlsoIDon'tHaveSkype)

Just a warning, Iced. They get angry when you make your character a god.

mgrant has some sort of internet program that does the die rolls and lets everybody see the results.

Well, we could always use open RPG, and use ventrillo for the chat..Plus open comes with a type chat feature.

Well, he's done. Crap for HP, but he's a slippery one. I love the RP aspect of D&D more than the fighting, though, so I'm good. Need to come up with a good voice for him, now.

Possibly. Not on the first mission, but what's a good ruin exploration without a dungeon with the DREADED ROOM OF GHOULS at some point?

Points for creativity Tom, but you might want to save your pirate god for an epic level campaign, which apparently I'm getting the vibe that I should run one at some point after everyone gets used to the system.

I prefer Skype because the audio chat feature works better for DMing than chatting, but I suppose we could try those options...if they work for Mac. Otherwise you guys'll be short a DM.

Actually I don't think it does..I'm fine with skype.

    Mac user here, Skype's perfect.

Well my Skype SN is Icedhope(I love being original.)

    Mine is division-ten

I have Tope, Remolay and Icedhope on my contacts now. My handle's vgfanatic06, pretty bland but I tend to be sort of uncreative when it comes to internet handles.

Searched for you, can't find you. Can you friend me, perhaps?
  • edited January 2011
@mgrant: Because I'm too lazy to find you, my Skype name is secretfawful.

EDIT: Mission accomplished. Mission speak to mgrant in a sexually innappropriate manner commencing.

EDIT EDIT: Mission failed. Mgrant too jaded. Abort.

Just incase we have too many Half-elves, and Rogues, I just generated a Human Paladin.

    Damien Ironheart

Also Skype is same as username.
(Haven't used it before. So apologies in advance if you get any issues)

EDIT: Also vgfantatic06 is mispelled I think.
I think you put in a extra t and it should be vgfanatic06.
  • edited January 2011
Yeah, I did have it misspelled, it's fixed now.

Right, I've done one more character, sorted out a couple of names (though not on the first two uploaded sheets) and that'll do me for now. Here they are:

    Cengared Ardeni

    Brennos Rek

    Rayvano Lamberink

As for Skype, I'm debating whether or not to create another account as the only one I have uses my real name. Now I don't mind people knowing it, I just don't want to share it publicly. Actually, I think the simplest answer is for me to add people who've already shared their user names and/or distribute my user/real name by PM.
  • edited January 2011
I still have to learn how to use Skype.

Edit: Oh, this isn't quite what I pictured at all. Okay, this should be no problem.
  • edited January 2011
Here's my dwarf character Valdris, cleric of Thautam, the Dwarven deity of magical objects. Her domains are magic and luck, so HURRAY RE-ROLLS! Picture and description will be up later.

EDIT: Also, my Skype name is skewedlogic if there's still room for me, heh.
  • edited January 2011
Uh. I've never played before. That is why I am holding a contest! Design TomPravetz' Whatchamakalet! Just make me a reasonable character, and the best one will have their creation used by me. (Pirates = bonus.)

    Also, skype TomPravetz

You get to play a halfling barbarian with no equipment and all of your skill points in Perform: Dance.

And I'm betting you guys can guess my Skype.

^ Sounds a bit OP to me.
