jp is one of the 5? I thought it was jp and 5 games.

    3 + 3 = 6
    jp + 5 = 6

    so 3 to go

So i'm part of the mainstream for a change? :O)

Anyway it's not only about difficulty/complexity. Btw why are there difficulty settings if they don't work properly? It's about the general lack of quality in many aspects important for adventures imo. As for riddles again. It's not only about beeing more challenging - but to a certain degree it obviously is -, it's also about beeing more unique, interesting, non repetitive. You can also have easy but enjoyful riddles if they are designed very well. TT entirely dissapoints in this field lately. Again how many riddles of the TOMI steering monkey in the lab quality have you played lately in a TT content? Obviously it takes time and talent coming up with those but that's what i'm interested in to play.

Any more leaks anywhere then? :)

It wasn't leaked, considering it happened 4 hours before the event started.

If it happened 4 hours AFTER the event it wouldn't be leak.. but surely if info is release before the event its a leak? And considering Fables hasn't been officially announced that is STILL a leak, isn't it?

If you read the text of the one article, it's pretty clear that it's not from a press conference or anything.

There's an embargo on the event, anything said between now and when the event's embargo ends is a leak.

For what it's worth, The Walking Dead has been made official with an announcement on Telltale's blog. I suspect maybe this weekend we'll get the official announcement on Fables, with the other three mysteries revealed later on.

Sooooo... anyone else still hopeful for Monkey Island or Poker night sequels?

I would love to see more Monkey Island but I'm ok if there isn't. Poker night? Not so much. I would be interested in a higher priced casino game. With multiple games and a more fleshed out environment.
I still think we are going to see a couple of original titles we aren't going to be able to guess.

    We didn't guess "Fables"...

... I am still hopeful for Monkey Island or Sam & Max to return. Makes sense to announce them later (after all, everybody and his brother knew about the Walking Dead already). Still, chances for this are probably 50-50 now. Chances are a little better for ToMI 2 (after all, we've had a S&M season just last year!).

    Extremely hopeful but doubtful... :(

Can I just take a second and say "told ya so"
Now we wait for the people who got invites to put up articles on their websites.... I figured TTG wouldnt just put it in their blog...

Is there an official list of announcements thread? I don't want to trawl for bits of information in a thread, why cant it be all in one post?

I think we all want more Monkey Island. Poker Night...eh. I'd like to see a new "At the Inventory" game if that's what you mean. I loved the dialogue and character interactions in Poker Night, and I love the whole concept behind The Inventory. It was cool looking through the club in the opening cutscene, and it seems a shame they designed such a nice area to only be seen briefly. I'd love if they made a point-and-click adventure game set in the At the Inventory universe (multiverse?), but not more poker.

Not all the announcements have been made public, mind you, but here's what we know about.

    Jurassic Park trailer: http://www.gametrailers.com/video/exclusive-debut-jurassic-park/710664
News article leaking The Walking Dead and Fables: http://emoney.allthingsd.com/20110217/telltale-signs-that-videogames-will-be-downloaded-not-sold-at-retail/?mod=ATD_skybox
    Official Walking Dead announcement: http://www.telltalegames.com/community/blogs/id-763

We should know more about Fables and the three other mystery projects soon enough.

So it's the next day and we still don't have any clue about the other 3 projects? Exactly what press what at this press event?

At the press conference, they announced the confirmation of 5 new Telltale press conferences.

But what about the Largo Embargo?

    Wherever you go
    On sea or on land,
    You can't ever hide
    From Alan Johnson.

    Wait, that doesn't rhyme...

Sorry for being off-topic Alan, but is there any chance you could tell us if pre-ordering the JP game gives you the DVD at the end of the season? And will it be a pre-order forum?

    Thanks in advance!

I don't want to let down my sources. But suffice it to say some of you will praise Telltale and some of you will despise them for it for multiple reasons.

If I am right, the announcements will take place after 4 hours and 10 minutes??

What I want to know is, will Suzette, Telltale's Bruce Wilcox's award-winning Artificial Intelligence chatbot, be incorporated into any of the new releases?

That would describe any game possible... any more hints? are you able to say new or sequel?

MI dont tell me they aquired the rights to anything activision currently owns (or perhaps another Lucas Arts title)...that might be the only thing that fits your description that I can think of right now.

Is it Rastamouse, after all that?

Ok. It's Jackass The Game. :P

    Actually, that'd be pretty awesome.
