Carl also got IMMEDIATE medical attention, and was in a coma for about a week, in a well guarded area around proffesionals with good equipment.
Carly got NO medical attention to treat her wound, is in the middle of the forest so walkers could've gotten her, is HUNDREDS of miles away from the group, and she is also unarmed.
She is dead, get over it and to everyone, its good you liked a character, but quit whining that person is dead, its walking dead, the comic book where to celebrate 100 issues of the series, they killed off the fan favorite of the ENTIRE series by beating him to death with a baseball bat in front of his pregnant wife and 8 year old child.
I'd think you guys would want Carly to die a painless death so she doesn't get a fate like the above wrong, but screw logic!
That's true about Kirkman but read this interview and look at why he killed that character. It wasn't pointless, and by all indications the Carly/Doug death is going to be pointless since we already have a new batch of characters shoe-horned into the narrative. Time will tell if there's some long lasting impact on Lee but right now he doesn't even seem to remember it.
That’s horrifying and having Rick experience that and being powerless in front of this guy is really going to fundamentally change the book in huge ways. I think that makes X one of the more important characters in the life of the series.
That character made it all the way to issue 100 and the plan was to originally kill them off at 75 but Kirkman thought there was more he could do with them. Carly/Doug's narrative arc was just beginning. I understand that there's time constraints to tell a story in five episodes but the real bummer to me is how Telltale squandered story potential by offing Carly/Doug in episode 3 instead of episode 5. They prematurely climaxed.
The idea behind his death was just to portray it as such a random event.
I call that pointless.
TWD is about random, sudden, pointless deaths. The argumentation "this death shows how dangerous this guy/girl is", that is hardly a "point", neither in the comics nor the game. Would there be more meaning to
Carley's death
if Telltale had celebrated the occasion like Kirkman's issue 100 did?
Hello Team,
I am new here so I am not sure where should I post my query.
I am from India. I am using Playstation 3 320 GB Move Edition.
I have downloaded The walking dead Episodes 1 & 2 from Playstation Store earlier. I see that Episode 3 was released on 28 Aug 2012, which I had been waiting for so eagerly. But I am not able to find it on Playstation Store.
Can you please tell me whether it has been released for India or not yet. If not, Can you please tell me when will it be available for download in India?
Looking forward to hear from you.
PSB: Speaking of the novels, I recently finished The Rise of the Governor. And I understand the next book Road to Woodbury will focus on Lili, an infamous character from the comics. Will there be any tie-in to the game? Is there any chance Lili appear in future episodes of the game, for example?
Robert Kirkman: There will definitely be a character named Lili in the game. Whether or not that ends up being the same character we know and love from the comic and the upcoming novel remains to be seen. But yeah, the new novel comes out in October and I’m excited about it. The novel series, the comic series, and the video game all are intertwined in the same universe. Keeping that continuity straight is something that’s been very important to me, and yeah, we’ll definitely see them continue to connect in a lot of interesting ways moving forward.
So I hear that Doug was based off of someone who worked at telltale. I loved Doug. He was my favorite character and biggest bro in the game. Knowing that he exists in real life is pretty cool.

I'm betting it's a placeholder release date for now. Amazon doesn't always have the correct release date.

Whole interview can be found here.
Hope that helps.
You are quite correct, but we should all be willing to sacrifice our lives for the sake of music.
Well we did see a LOT of walkers soon after
"Sean will remember that"
There's a circle "?" and sometimes it has a splatter around it. Other times just a solid circle with question mark inside.
Is there a table showing their meaning?
i.e. dirty circle, clean circle, circle surrounded by splatter etc
