is the woman from Woodbury who shoots Lori and Judith with a shotgun blast. She then, in rage when realizing what she did, turns to the governor, shoots him and kicks him into the zombie crowd before heading for shelter in the prison
She had a name in the comics?
Wait a minute, if she was actually part of
The Governor's army, that would mean
A. She survives the game
B. Has to leave at some point, the question is why? Does Lee find the Governor's Town? Does he leave her there to help the town out? Do we meet the governor in the game?
I don't know why that sparked more speculation than my guess, but it did.
i no this has been addressed a few times but it was never exactly answered well enough to understand, what i want to know is how the combat is controlled. I enjoy run and gun zombie games, but leave that to resident evil and dead rising, the walking dead is about tension and emotion, i get it, and i completely agree, but when it does come down to the moments your engaged in combat, i would like to know what its like. Everyone has been asking and people keep saying its not a quick time event you have control, but i dont mean just aiming. In the gameplay shown to us it looks like half control, as in something will happen like in the video were you get attacked, and lee moves on his own, yet you have the ability to aim the hammer. What i want to know is will i have full control, real time ability, will i be able to run circles around a zombie and then aim my gun and shoot any point of the body as i please, then run away, or will it be little events where you encounter a zombie and he automatically stops and does whatever telltale programs him to do, like when he runs and slips on the blood. I hope you have full control over him sometimes so you can make decisions for yourself, not the ones telltale lays out for you, can anyone answer this please lol
Ooh a Walking Dead wiki... and I can read it spoiler free since I'm up to date with the comics
EDIT:Holy crap I forgot about so many people already. Guess they weren't as important to me.

Hehe yeah exactly. Been reading through the entire series again (volumes) and sometimes you stumble upon a character where you think; 'I actually miss that dude'

Yeah, worst thing is
the governor's attack literally only killed the characters I liked, with the exception of Carl who lived, everyone else I honestly didn't like too much, so the characters I liked are all dead

.
The ones I miss the most from the prison attack would have to be Tyreese and Axel. I felt there could've been done so much more with their stories. But that's the exciting part of WD; you never know who's gonna go

Or live, for god's sake Carl has survived not one, but two bullets to fatal area. Not to mention somehow outrunning the governor's men
Speaking of Lilly, it seems the new Walking Dead novel; The Road to Woodbury, centers around her:
It is a dangerous world that Lilly lives in. The walking dead lurk in every corner, massacring anyone they can get their hands on. Nowhere is safe. But when a terrifying ordeal leaves numerous dead, Lilly and her companions are forced out of their tented community and out into the open. Safety seems to come in the form of Woodbury, a gated compound with food and protection. Yet it’s not long before the wanton dangers of Woodbury reveal themselves, and the Governor’s despotic rule of the compound threatens to undermine everything Lilly believes in. Because sometimes the dead aren't the biggest threat. It’s the living
When purchasing the game, how do you know what format I will need it in?
I don't see where I can choose Xbox360, PS3 or PC during the purchase process.
I want it for the PC, but I am unsure on how to convey that when I am attempting to buy it.

Thanx for any replies.
I guess:
a) You'll get an e-mail from TTG telling you how to get the games in each format.
or
b) It depends where you ordered. For example, using the website, the format will be PC.
Using XLA (is it right?) will be Xbox....and on and on

If you buy it from our website, that's the non-Steam PC/Mac version only. To get the Xbox version, you'll need to buy it on your Xbox. To get the PS3 version, you'll have to purchase through the PlayStation Network.

Hi, I have Pre Ordered The Walking Dead Game, and I was just wondering on if I will be receiving the game in the Mail within a Case and Manual for the Game, or is it where I will have to end up transferring it from my PC to my Xbox 360 Console through Xbox Live?? Because I trully hope that The new Walking Dead Game will be where I will be receiving it in the Mail in Case and Manual, because I would just happen to prefer it that way, without having to look up stuff as much on the internet for advice or tips of playing the game ect. Another thing is I happened to want to ask is that, is there going to be a Game Guide of some sort for the game to be able to know a whole lot more about how and what to do in the game as for using the controller, of what buttons are used for what type of action they are supposed to make, like just having a Manual withinside the Video Game Box itself, it could tell you those type of things, but I would really would just happent to like to know these types of things so when the exact time comes when it comes out later this month of April, I would just like to know whether or not those things will be available for people to get other than just myself, so I won't be so confused. So if you can email me back that would be absolutely Great if you could, my email address to contact me is:

I'm afraid that you are a bit confused. Preorder in the Telltale's web it's ONLY for PC/Mac systems. For console systems you'll have to purchase through PS-Store and Xbox-Live-store-whateveritsnameis. There's no preorder for console systems, sorry.
Also, with the release date approaching, any news about the DVD release ?
I must admit it was a big incentive for buying games directly from the TTG store.
Same here - it is still a pitty thet there was no regular DVD with Jurassic Park Saw the Jurassic Park DVD in my local store a few weeks ago and wished I hadn't already bought the Telltale digital only version.
There's still some burning questions that need answers I haven't seen yet....
Xbox controller support on PC???(I preordered on PC for the chance to be a character, but if it doesn't support controller I want my money back so I can preorder for PS3)
System requirements?(Not really worried about this as I have a $1700 rig, just wondering how powerful the engine is ;op
Can't remember what else but it'll come to me.... and keep up the good work!

There are Xbox controller support on PC, don't worry. In the gameplays you can see it. (A, B, that kind of console pad stuff...)
System requirements:
Minimum:
OS: XP Service Pack 3 / Vista / Windows 7
Processor: 2.0 GHz Pentium 4 or equivalent
Memory: 3 GB RAM
Hard Disk Space: 2 GB Space Free
Video Card: ATI or NVidia card w/ 512 MB RAM (Not recommended for Intel integrated graphics)
DirectX®: Direct X 9.0c
Sound: Direct X 9.0c sound device
Recommended:
OS: XP Service Pack 3 / Vista / Windows 7
Processor: Core 2 Duo 2GHz or equivalent
Memory: 3 GB RAM
Hard Disk Space: 2 GB Space Free
Video Card: ATI or NVidia card w/ 1024 MB RAM (Not recommended for Intel integrated graphics)
DirectX®: Direct X 9.0c
Sound: Direct X 9.0c sound device
I know in 2012 I should probably have like 4 or 8, but this is the first game I've run into that I'm interested in that is more than 1-2GB required.
Hopefully that means there will be nice crisp high resolution textures and/or BIG open environments to peruse. Walking through the forests around Hershel's farm, running into different scenarios depending on the pathway you take? Could be awesome. The game has a great art style, hopefully it will use my $500 graphics card at least a little bit ;op
I don't understand why TTG doesn't put it at a retail type of store. I mean, it boost your sells and more importantly, gives it more publicity. Also it helps people who want to play it on console that don't have internet connections(like myself).I think it would be a good idea for them to release it not one episode at a time if they shipped it out on disc, but instead as all 5 episodes.
Right now we have no plans to support gamepads on Mac, sorry.
Both wired Xbox controllers and wired Logitech controllers should work on PC. While I'm not completely certain about bluetooth wireless controllers, going with a wired one would be the safest option.

Lucky little bastard he is! As long as he doesn't turn into his TV counterpart I'm good

I read Rise of the Governor and thought it was great, so I'm definitely getting this.

I think that it would depend from sales and that kind of stuff.
Until end of TWD Season 1 I suppose that we won't know. And them either.

rick, I edited out your e-mail address from that last post. Best to keep those private!!
You're welcome.
I've edited my quote as well to keep his e-mail in privacy.

Mem modules are so cheap now so going to 4 GB is a no brainer.
Not natively, no, sorry.
360 controller?
yessss read more threads!!!!!

I do. Look at my post count, I frequent these forums daily and always check for news. Not once have I seen native 360 support for the PC version.
A quote from one of the two Insider threads. It is discussed in both.
