I can't see any series-link deals on the pages for games I already own. That seems like a bit of a flaw.
For example: I already own the first two Tex Murphy games, but if I want to buy the rest of the series at the discounted price, I have to actually go to the page of one of the other games. Seems a bit long-winded.
(I know the other games in the series are shown lower down the page, but still...)

They're just testing it right now, I'm sure they're open to feedback on the feature. It might be wise to just bring it up with them and see if they can do it.
This weekend, you can save 50% off of all Square Enix titles, except for Daikatana for obvious reasons. You know, can it really be called a Square Enix bundle if there are no Square Enix games available on GOG? It's all stuff they got from Eidos and other companies, there's nothing Square Enix made on there.
Also, This Week on GOG gives us the recap of the week and a clue for next week. Let's see, it's going to be released on Valentine's day, it's going to be a classic game, and it's going to have a "happy ending". I will not be hyped into thinking it's Love for Sail, I will not be hyped into thinking it's Love for Sail, I will not be hyped into thinking it's Love for Sail.

Ex-fucking-actly. Final Fantasy VII, just recently out anew with completely shitty DRM: THAT I would have bought without copy protection. But, noooooo. Because Square Enix is a copyright bitch.

Cloud's worse than Steam. And I've probably played the hell out of the PSX-FFVII before I sold it 14 years later for about the price I purchased it for back in '97, so no regrets.
My PSX was outsourced as a permanent loan to a friend, so I couldn't play it anyway.
It wasn't actually the game itself that pumped money into my hands... it was the German walkthrough book. Sold for easily about three times its original worth. Crazy. Just because the price was printed on it in Deutschmarks only, and no € value to be found.
As for a replay: I can wait until Square Enix comes to their senses. You know I can. You get a lot of patience if you're the sworn enemy of DRM and piracy...
Yes. I know. Because I can too.
That's why I can never understand that the same thing plays on these forums when TTG releases something.
I go to bed, have a good night of sleep and either it is out or I wait patiently. No crying. No "I payed for it I wants it nowz!
It's very much the same as the original, just with a few tweaks and enhancements.
They justified releasing it as a sequel by revealing Chris Sawyer completely rewrote the code for the game. Doesn't stop it from feeling exactly the bloody same, but whatever.
In the first of two releases on GOG, we have Zafehouse: Diaries. I have NO idea what this is, so I'm just going to say it's some kind of zombie game, and it's $9.99. But I DO know that the other release is Worms Forts: Under Siege for $5.99, and it's a Worms game. Well, it's a 3D Worms game, so draw your own conclusions on its quality.
You know, it's the weird corrolations that get to me. We have a new Team 17 game, who made one of the "we don't speak of these" Leisure Suit Larry games, and we're getting new stuff from Codemasters, who owns the Larry IP now... AND GOG's promoting a special valentines release that has a type of "happy ending". I'm trying not to get hyped for more Larry, but they're making it so hard.

It sure would be awesome if you're right though. I really loved that one and the CyberSniff 2000 that came with it was a nice touch. I've still got the game in the original box at my mom's house, so I'm not likely to get it again, but I think it's one of the classics that holds up well even today.
EDIT: Just to clarify, I think we're both talking about LSL 7, since that's the only one not currently on GOG.

Works Forts is somewhat of an inversion of your standard Worms gameplay.
In normal Worms games, you're trying to destroy the other players. In Worms Forts, as well as this, you're trying to destroy the other player's FORTS (hence the name). There's a focus on building defences and weapons, and it's a very odd departure from the standard formula.
Well, now that the initial wow factor has worn off, let's deconstruct this. A newly formed studio comes out of nowhere and claims to have obtained the unobtainable, and somehow managed to keep it under wraps until just days before the alleged release. Sounds too good to be true.
In the past, GOG has never charged more than $9.99 for a classic game. So either they mean it'll be worth the higher of the two price points, or we're going to see a higher price point for more anticipated titles.
Both System Shocks are fantastic, I hear. I haven't played the second (but I have it, have yet to get to it), but I have played the first and that was quite fun. Also ahead of its time for the style of gameplay it had. If the first was that good I can only imagine how good the second one is.
The Indie Gem Promo of the week is Giana Sisters for 5 bucks. It's... I dunno, I'm pretty sure there's a huge discussion about it somewhere in this thread. And that's it, nothing else happened... KZZZT SYSTEM FOUND. LOADING IN T-MINUS 23 HOURS... today.

At least it doesn't use Steam, right?
burn.
It's actually a double burn because I would buy it if it was on Steam. But it isn't.

No matter how much I'd need the money I would never sell my babies. Not even the ugly ones I -more or less- secretly don't like (e.g. Diablo III).

I can't even remember which thread this is.
This is Doodo's Musings.
It's kind of hard when all their accounts are from October or so.
We should show them his best posts so they will start mentioning him.
He is Duck as a grown up man.

....ahhhh wait. SYSTEM. Not BIO.
Finally... Sjees, I've been waiting for that forever!
This is really good news. I'm hoping for an HD update.
I know, and that's not really compelling evidence to suggest that this is a hoax. Still, this is definitely a "wait and see" moment.
If I had any time... I would buy that so hard.
You are making the wrong joke. Bioshock 2 isn't that good. System Shock 2 on the other hand is one of the best games ever made.
