The guessing for Episode 2 and the E3 previews is kind of increasing my hype, but in a way that is bugging me even more because I can't wait any longer. It's a shame Telltale aren't releasing this monthly, although I hope they do from this month onwards (Episode 2 in late June, 3 in late July, 4 in late August and 5 in late September). That would be pretty good timing for The Walking Dead Season 3 to start in early October.
If i was offered a release date of tonight or an Nintendo DS, Scribblenauts , Super Scribblenauts, and Scribblenauts third game if it exists. I'd choose release date but ONLY because it would make everyone else happy

It's a shame that we had not received any apologize from them. Or acting like all this were the initial plans and the customers were informed. THIS is a shame. They NEVER called this a "delay" (and it is), look it up.
Have to wait between Episodes not... I knew it when I prepurchased the game. It's their conditions and I accepted it when I gave them my money. Even I can take the delays. This things happen in this industry so often.
But the Telltale's manners towards their customers are not professional at all.
would a pregnant woman sue her doctor if the baby is late ? no
Would a commuter sue the transport company if his or her train is late ? no
Would a trapeze artist sue his partner for not catching them ? no
I do understand people frustrations but if everyone sued over every little disagreement and statments that are made with educated guess work that prove to be false for a small period of time..like a month or two..
what would the world come to ? v for vendetta anyone ? judge dredd ?
yes games have bugs regardless of how many games people make #cough gears of war 2/3 rank reset...#
doesn't mean they can fix everything quicker each time..
twd is a new ip and even maybe a new engine ? some games take longer cough dnf cough than others or can be rehashed with a spit and polish cough cod cough
and they still could be gawd awfull...
if half life 3 /hl2 episode 3 is anything to go by dev's have to way up the options of giving away info and holding it back... i feel been in the dark is annoying but ultimately when we are given the facts we are going to believe them....
Dozens of developers have been doing that on Kickstarter these past months, and some of them are going to fail. I completely understand if anyone isn't into the 'buy now play later' model, because it guarantees nothing. Even preordering can be precarious, some people had their Duke Nukem receipts for ten years!
That said, if you don't like this model, for god sakes don't get involved in it. They'll probably be a complete boxed version released a few months after the final episode finishes, so wait till then. Otherwise be prepared to be more directly affected by the development process, and for unexpected problems to pop up that you would never have encountered had you waited for the final product. It's not all bad though, there are bonuses too. Your feedback can prompt changes in the game before it's finished. When TellTale learned everyone hated the Soda Poppers in Sam & Max, the season changed to acknowledge that. An significant annoyance was removed and transformed into something brilliant!
And hey, TellTale showed up at E3 with episode 2. I would've thought that might calm things down a bit around here.
Yeah I think it would be good if our comments in some way influenced the game like the Sam and max game you spoke of, however I heard the developers say in the playing dead interview that they already know where they’re going with the story and our suggestions and the overall game stats won't change their direction. They just like to hear our predictions for their own personal amusement. I'm power phrasing but that's pretty much what the guy with the Doug shirt was saying.
Personally I don't think their making us wait for episode 2 because they need to. I think their doing it because they can. I find it hard to believe and accept that the game they demonstrated at E3 is far from completion, yet I have recently read posts saying they are planning to release it in the next month or 2. If they were to release it as late as August they would be wrong for advertising episode 2 as coming soon on the games episode list page, which they have done since episode 1's release in April. In what world is 3-4 months soon for a game that should be monthly?
At the end of the day episode 2 will still only be a couple of hours long. We have invested in the story so choosing not to play it is not an option but I fail to see how 2 hours of game play can justify what could potentially be a 3-4 month delay. It's likely that they want more people to play episode 1 and be discussing the game before they choose to release it.
The whole point of them making TWD episodic was to fit in with the episodic nature of the comics and the TV show. It kind of defeats the purpose if gamers have to wait too long between episodes. People buy season passes with the expectation of playing new episodes consistently that is the experience people are paying for. Even by the developers own expectations the game is meant to be regular they were just over ambitious and failed to deliver, proving that they were not able to handle the demands of episodic gaming. Hopefully they will work on this to do better next time.
I'm getting antsy. Come on TTG, Your game is making me like you, don't let your delays change that. I'll say round mid June I'll have lost interest, but will still buy it when it comes out.
The woman was constantly late ? and her job was merely on a trial basis and she was actually affecting the company. After 6 times of being late ? and she only got 1500 euro's..and imy point only mentioned the train not her losing her job but being late is of course a knock on effect...
yeah she got lucky and probably got a good lawyer...

Yes ownage since you gave a silly references that held no substance to the matter at hand and still got proven that it can happen.
O-W-N-A-G-E
PS I also think it's silly for people to threaten to sue, but I can appreciate a good ownage.
Hey all, I've spoken to a few people on here about how to get a refund for my Season Pass, and I know others have e-mailed telltale about it and gotten no response, not even your typical, "Thanks for e-mailing us we don't give a sh*t" response message. Is a refund even possible? With my entire bases being: They falsely advertised monthly installments. (Episode 1 was out in April and none in May = Not Monthly) I know a lot of ppl are bothered by this and I am just wondering what would need to be done, if anything could even be done at this point, and at E3 did they EVER give the exact date? Because if they did I've missed it. Thanks to anyone who can help me out.
two out of the three ain't bad.. if all 3 where proven that would be ownage..
i merely got caught out once bound to happen sooner or later...
The fact that you decided to choose 3 different examples that had nothing or held any weight and was irrelevant to the topic at hand. (All 3 examples you gave are transparent)
And only chosen by you because it would be highly unlikely for anyone to ever go to court over such miniscule matters thus giving you the 1-up in your mind within this argument when said example weren't even relevant.
live with it ? yeah i can it's only the second time someone just so happened to find some evidence or prove me wrong but i see from that whole post only them bits are called into question. talk as much as i do on here i'm bound to get something wrong..
That was my entire point of using them to show how stupid a lawsuit is against ttg...
I aint waitin another month and a half -.- played first episode bout month and half and i already forgot half of the story.... How much more am i gonna wait ???? I don't want to fuckin polls or sticky! just give us a stupid release date so we can wait not waste all my money on a crap game wich i will have to wait half a year just for it to be fully out -.-!!!
But what have you posted ja1862 that should make people give a damn about your opinion?
settle down there fellow knight
threats me ? no just stating a possible factoid quadruple posting may be frowned upon..
jaxxx can say what he/she likes as do all of us i have accepted i lost one small part of my original argument.. but i partly disagree with the ownage it is like saying
The woman owned the company she was suing because she won the case
BUT she didn't win what she wanted only got a measly 1500 euros
THEREFORE my point is to own / be owned you must win in all things not just one or two..

im only teasing anyway broski, if someone deems it necessary to block me on a website where the devs don't even visit, they can be my guest lol another happy customer also that dude can rebuke with the same thing over and over, your 3 fun facts about customer service have nothing to do with games

No, Telltale never have told an exact release date. At any game of theirs.
This is not bad or good, it's their way of doing things.

But doesn't Lily look different in episode 2 from episode 1?
Yes, she... she... she looks like wearing more clothes.

We should all know by now, any personal opinions given on the Internet are pretty much disregarded instantly, especially forums and YouTube etc.
Would you have posted if you didn't?
Settle down buddy no need to get all maaaaaad at me :-)
Well lets agree to disagree my good man :-)
You work at TTg?
