I have.I'm very exited and a bit worried,I really hope she'll be a Lilly I can recognize. Sadly it will, very likely, be the last part of Lilly's story we'll get to experience(maybe she'll appear in the TV show).
I'd hoped Lilly would return in a future season of the game but the answer I got from Jake isn't at all promising
Personally, I feel that Lilly's story has come to an end. She is a major lead in an awesome game, gets her own book, and appears in the comic. The only thing I can see is a confirmation of her death or survival right after the prison. I feel that after that, her story would be pretty well told. Just like Lee's, Clem's, and Kenny's should end with season 1 (in my opinion). I think that what we have is already fantastic, and bringing her back would be taking a chance of messing it up.

Mm, I can agree to some extent. She doesn't need some major role but I would love to see her again after the prison arc. I would be cool to see how those events affected her and how much has she changed since that. Especially if the book shows how she changes after ep.3.
If we follow your logic, then Rick should die soon, too. He's been around for too long and most of his story is told. In my opinion that doesn't mean he has to necessarily die. Lilly has potential in her mostly because she's not a perfect character and there is a lot one can tell about people like her.
Ah, I see. Remind me who was Jake? Some of the creators of the story? Can you provide a link to the interview?

Kirkman satted that Rick very well MAY die eventually, to keep it believeable, because Rick has survived more crap thrown at him than any person has a right to. He's a badass that way. And I don't mean Lilly has to die at the prison, we could just find out what happened to her. Live or die, her story should come to an end after the prison. She could go on to help rebuild Woodbury, or strike out for someplace new in hopes of finding something better.
Just say Playing Dead episode 7 and nobody asked whether this is the Lilly that is supposed to join Woodbury. I'm disappointed! Anyone knows the email or whatever I can sent my question, hoping it would be answered in episode 8?
I don't get why Kenny couldn't have killed Larry just as he turns and starts rising up again rather than smashing his head in without any idea if he'll turn or make it, although I know he wanted an excuse to get rid of him.
I must say it after the episode 4 and was on Lilly's side with that, that the idea with the boat is simply dumb (or not good).
How I miss Lilly
I was laughing like crazy when I saw there were no boats... the idea was dumb from the very start. However, Kenny is the sort of person that insists that a bout would wait for him 3 months and more, just because he wants it to be that way...
I hope that Lilly returns for one and only reason.
That is so that i can feel that my choices in the first 3 episodes matter, cause now the only choices that matter from the old episodes is how good you were with Kenny, THATS IT.

Well, that's the idea. Not all choices matter as it comes to result, because sometimes it is just out of your hand. It is the same with the idea that there aren't good and bad choices. You just make your own. I really like and enjoy that more than for example the choice system in SW Kotor where some choices are [light] and other [dark].
When I know it is like that it kinda makes me go all light or all dark and it sorta kills the idea of choices.
I hate Lilly so bad. I wish that I could have shot her in the head back when she killed Carley. She deserves a fate worse than death. She is a cold blooded murderer and I would like to see her getting chewed on horrifically by a horde of walkers.

I think Lilly would have been quite an asset to have with the group in Episode 4, especially in Crawford. I know in my game as well she probably would have been the first person to volunteer in looking for Clem. Even with Lee's bite. Lilly seemed to be one of the people in the group to really care for Clementine, no matter who's side you were on.
I scanned through the book quickly. There is no mentioning of Lee, Clementine, Kenny, Doug or Carley. Even if this Lilly Caul is the same Lilly as the one in the game, there is absolutely no mentioning of the events that happened in the game. I will have to read it in order to confirm for sure.
Well it doesn't really matter. Consider both the game and the book Lilly the comic book Lilly.
When ep.1 was released Lilly was promoted as a character from the comic book. It was only later when Kirkman apparently decided to tell Lilly's story on his own.
Still Telltale said the story of the episodes were done long before they made them, so the Lilly in game was created to be the same Lilly that ends up in the comic book. During the time they were making her character, that was the plan. I guess we now have two versions of Lilly.
Damn....
I would really love to see a red post there.
I read the first two chapters and nope, not the same lily at all. I am disappoint.
and yes, it directly contradicts it.
 I guessed as much but I was really hoping I was going to be pleasantly surprised.Personally, I really think that it's a dick move by Kirkman to give the go ahead to Telltale but to decide later "hmm Lilly, that's given me an idea, I'll write her back story myself".I heard that he said in a interview that it remained to be seen if it's the same Lilly(when he already knew that she wasn't!)
While I dislike it,and my enthusiasm for the book has thus diminished, I can understand why he couldn't and didn't continue game Lilly's story. He would either have to choose a canon choice from the game or just start the book with Lilly on her own and keep her background a mystery.Continuing from the side of a road would be fine for players of the game but other readers would find it very lacking and would want to know more about her past.
I suppose it's now up to the individual to decide which Lilly origin they prefer but it can also mean that Telltale have more freedom to do something else in the future with their Lilly(if they want to).

He answered that it's pretty unlikely we'll ever see Lilly again but he also hoped she'd be alright
I also read an interview with him and he said he disliked Kenny and liked to go against him. He might be a closeted Lilly appreciator
You're hilarious.

Check the The Walking Dead's faces of death,Part 3 thread for a link to the interview I mentioned

I don't think she walks out of the prison fwiw.
She's not confirmed dead... so nobody knows for now.
.....I don't see her dying there.....
I'm sure none of us saw Carley getting shot on the side of the road like that either.
Then again, she MIGHT make it out... but the situation looked pretty screwed when they ran out of ammo.
Has anyone read the book?
Does it directly contradict the game?

(Comic book spoilers follow)
From what I counted so far Lilly still has time get to Savannah and months to get to Woodbury after that.
i did well the preview
So he chose to override and ignore Telltales Lilly but decided to use Lee and Everett
hes a d*uche
Answer to this thread: I like Lilly and Kenny.
we were talking about the book not appreciating it
ok >:3
but it's a book about Lilly(or so we thought)
