So I finally get back into Revelations, I finally get myself an assassin recruit, things are looking up, I'm getting excited again, and my cousin sends me a friggin' screenshot from what I presume is the end. Thanks, jackass.

That's just not cricket. Apart from that, good to hear it's (or it was at least!) getting better for you.
I'm basically trying out all my old(ish) Wii games that I never got round to so I can see if they're worth playing or not.
Dead Space: Extraction - Looks amazing for the Wii, gameplay is solid (even if the 'girlfriend' has one of those annoying 'British' voices) and it looks a lot of fun. Will revisit if I'm in the mood for a first person shooter.
Disney Universe - I'm amazed at how much fun this game is. I wasn't expecting it to be at all, but it's a blast. Will definitely be playing this one.
Doctor Who: Return to Earth - Shit. Pure and simple. You spend 90% of your time aiming and firing lightballs at moving targets, 5% playing minigames and 5% wrestling with a camera that's like my Dad when he's in the right - it will move for no-one. The character models are shockingly poor, the animations crap, the AI insulting, the levels bland and the script terrible. Worst game I've played in quite some time. Will return to, if only so I can give it a proper review where I can properly stomp on its head.
Epic Mickey - Pretty fun, actually. I kinda knew it would be, but you never really know unless you play it. Looks like a time-sink though, so I'll leave it until I've not so much on my plate.
Fragile Dreams: Farewell Ruins of the Moon - WTF is Fragile Dreams? It's a Japanese RPG, basically. Haven't spent a whole lot of time with it, but it seems promising and I'll give it a proper go when I get some time off work and can really delve into it.
Metroid: Other M - I hate the controls. No other way to put it - they're clunky and hard to use, especially constantly switching back and forth between first and third person modes. And the voicework is dull. Probably won't go back to it, if I'm honest.
Thor: God of Thunder - Odd. A little like God of War, but the first level didn't sell the rest of the game on me. Feels too button-mashy to me. I'll try it again at some point, I mean I own it, but not for a while, methinks.
...so yeah, I'm gonna be playing a bunch of Disney Universe once I finish Deathspank: The Baconing again.
after reading a bunch of positive reviews I bought 'To the Moon'. Its an adventure game that looks like a snes RPG. The puzzles arent anything special but the story is amazing-its got the structure of Memento and uses ideas from Inception and Eternal Sunshine. It manages to be really funny at the same time. Theres an 1hr free trial on the website which is well worth checking out, the opening scene is funny enough that I was sold straight away
I have a lot of games going on at once:
Jurassic Park. Stopped playing just after completing Chapter 2.
Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword. The reason I stopped playing Jurassic Park right after Chapter 2. Currently in Dungeon 4.
Star Wars: The Old Republic. Currently waiting for the updater to update for this week's Beta test... stupid 11+GB update...
I got to play a little bit of Skyrim! My brother bought it, so I immediately hijacked his computer and managed to get my character to a level where I can reliably be killed by weird goblin things. Though, honestly, my favorite things to do so far are the crafting things. Seriously, I spend all my time forging armor and brewing potions.
Well, I finished Apollo Justice yesterday. But I've mainly been playing Skyward Sword. I've clocked in around 15 hours so far, and haven't reached the third temple yet! It's just great fun to mess around an discover new stuff. Although I spent two hours trying to figure out how to cross a sand pit and eventually had to look at a guide. Boo.
Because I won't own it until Christmas at the earliest. I could've gotten it for my birthday, but I chose Assassin's Creed: Revelations instead, and now I've just spent $200 I don't have from a job that I don't start until Tuesday on the Zelda themed 3DS.
BUT THAT'S OKAY BECAUSE IT'S SO PRETTY.
And apparently it's reflecting the texture on my ceiling. It's actually very nice and shiny.
Dang, another person that doesn't like Metroid: Other M...
I really wanted to like it. I really did. Loved Super Metroid and I heard that Other M is more of a sequel to that than the game cube games I never played plus it was a return to the 3rd person controls. I couldn't get passed the second stage....section...level whatever(and not because of game difficulty). Awful controls and the forced first person pissed me off. The advertising prior to release made it sound like you had a choice. I didn't like the character depth on her part...or speech..in ANY form. This game was just a heartbreak for me.
I've had Other: M sitting around for the last year, untouched. I'll probably pick up Metroid II on the 3DS shop and do a Metroid series run after I finish my Zelda run.
And speaking of my Zelda run, I just finished the Water Temple. Effortless as always. I've never gotten why so many people have trouble with that one. The Shadow Temple is the real bitch of that game.

A. It's confusing.
B. It's confusing.
C. Dark Link
D. I really like writing the alphabet to explain why something is wrong.
A. Not really.
B. You just have to change the water level, do everything you can on that level, change it again, etc. If anything, this makes it easier because the entire temple is easily reached from one central room.
C. Megaton Hammer or Biggoron Sword. And if all else fails, Din's Fire. Problem solved.
D. So do I, it lets me argue with you point by point.
Finished the main story of Skyward Sword, now down to finishing up the collectibles. Just five heart pieces to go. I have to say, this is now my favorite Zelda game. Followed closely by Ocarina of Time(regular or 3D). The rest kind of fall into an ever shifting continuum, with Phantom Hourglass and Spirit Tracks sitting in the "should play" pile. And Faces of Evil, Wand of Gamelon, and Zelda's Adventure sitting in the "must smash if ever seen" pile.
Played a bit of Dungeons of Dredmor, got completely addicted (scheduled half hour session became four hours) and then died with the hardcore mode on so all my saves got deleted. In retrospect, this was probably a pretty good thing, because it's time for me to get back to work on those darn applications.
Alternating between Ocarina of Time 3D and Majora's Mask. I feel like I'm playing Ocarina of Time for morons. This is the most insultingly hint-laden Zelda I've ever seen. And Navi telling me to take a break just now doesn't help my attitude towards it any either.
Disney Universe on the Wii. Far too easy to die and therefore get screwed out of the gold for the level, but otherwise I'm enjoying it. Also, still Deathspank: TOV on PC, which is slow going cause I already thrashed it on the PS3.
I've been trying out the Book of Unwritten Tales demo and have been liking it a lot. Now I just need to save up a little bit of money to buy the full game.

Mine won't get here til Monday!!! And I won't be able to play it until late because that's my D&D day!!!:(:(:(:(
All good stuff, but nothing particularily noteworthy.
