I forgot to post this, so it's a bit belated (though still currently true)
on Wii Virtual Console (or emulator if the TV is being used)
I am now basically near the end of the game, where I only need to grind levels, complete sidequests and (perhaps) beat the final "dungeon."
This game is fantastic. Anyone who hasn't played it should. I will not spoil the plot for you here because there is at least one totally awesome WTF moment in the plot (the resolution for which is totally FTW).
Play it. PLEASE. It's only $8 for the SNES version on Virtual Console, or $20 for the DS version.
...now I'm playing the waiting game. It's annoying how I can't rip video from my DVDs and so have to download them. I'd have been finished by now if I could actually do that.
No idea. Something to do with the type of drive I have, I think. Bleh.
EDIT: Still on Poacher, trying to beat the secret boss who is fucking impossible.
No, seriously. He's an absolute nightmare. There's three rounds, and I've never even seen the third one. I can just about cope with the first one, but the second has you jumping from platform to platform while avoiding a lighting strike, and if the lightning hits you, you'll probably miss the platforms and fall to your death, making you start the ENTIRE fight over again from scratch.
What makes this double frustration is how Yahtzee himself commented on how great mid-boss checkpoints were in his review of Bayonetta, and yet on his own bloody insane boss, he does nothing of the sort! A checkpoint after each round would make this boss SO much more tolerable, but no, it's headaches for all. Sodding hypocrite!
Both the editing AND the waiting game. Captain America seems to be taking its sweet time, but I've managed to grab most of the other clips I need from YouTube, so it's just that one I'm waiting for. Putting all the pieces together is taking a wee bit of time, but I'm getting there.
Also, replaying Infernal: Hell's Vengeance because the difficulty achievements don't stack. Which sucks.
I'm finally playing Superbrothers: Sword & Sworcery and I'm loving it so far. The constant Twitter thing is annoying, but I've gotten used to it, so it doesn't bug me as much as it did at first.
I had trouble with two... but the one that killed me was the long one(big surprise). The one with the Joker graffiti on the door. I achieved all the non-map stuff so I restarted for another playthrough. After I got the first 4 ARs and saw that 1 pop up again, It all came back and fuck it, I'm not doing it again.
Speaking of Arkham City, has anyone had problems doing the picture/scan/whatevers for the Riddler trophies on PC? I *know* where some of them are and a couple I've tried said there's nothing there(just a couple). Maybe the PC version is just more touchy.

Have you actually meat Riddler yet? Those are only available after you visit him in the church.

That might've been why. I probably got ahead of myself. I already did that, but the two that *didn't work* could have been because I tried them before that.
Still on Poacher. Actually got to the third round of the secret boss! ...and then died. And guess what? STILL no checkpoint. Screw you, Yahtzee. SCREW YOU.
Watch out for that stupid GCPD one that shows up on the main map. That last one took me more time than I'm willing to admit.
I'm playing Alan Wake. I like the writing(well besides the sequence in episode 3 where you introduce yourself to the trailer park manager and he immediately helps you...because you know, you're famous...that kind of dropped me out of the game for a second).
The ones in and outside of the GCPD are all done.
Some others are causing problems though. (about 4 right now, haven't checked all of them yet)
Having tons of fun with the ones that require dive-bombing into a narrow corridor and gliding against the wall 3 times without touching the ground.
Still in Grimrock, but slowly continuing my playthroughs of Anachronox and Rayman Origins too (although the difficulty of the latter is starting to get on my nerves).

It was made way back in 1951. You've got to admire how far computer games have come in 61 years.

Why not?

Alice: Madness Returns
Batman: Arkham City
Call of Cthulhu: Dark Corners of the Earth
Gotham City Impostors

I am level 62 and still continuing to grind...
The Steam Summer Sale can't come soon enough for me to get some cheap good ones.

Yeah, the flight through the tunnel took me forever.
Which one of those 4.

I'm actually starting to understand how to play this game.
Its getting enjoyable now.
Max Payne on PS3.

Shame my scores are so low compared to my friends, but I like my complicated circuits more! XD
Legend of Grimrock
Woah! Its been a very long time since I have played a platformer with such tight mechanics and level design.
So far, the secrets are pretty easy to find, but its nice to see a platformer not relying on leaps of faith and pixel hunting.
The music and artwork are spectacular as well.
Just everything about this game has been fantastic so far.
I forgot how awesome this game is!:D
probably gonna go on XBLA and download some demos:D
