So since Episode 2 isn't coming out anytime soon. I decided to buy Dead Island to hold off my Zombie fix until ep.2 comes out.
I rather enjoyed this game on Xbox. Great way to pass the time and quite lengthy. Probably had 20 or more hours into it before I beat it. Since then I have picked it back up a few times here and there, so it has some replay-ability.
My understanding is that XBOX releases/updates (whatever the term is) games on Tuesdays, as the 26th is the last Tuesday of this month many people are either assuming or completely adamant that Episode 2 is coming that day.
It would be nice but I'd rather put money on England winning Euro 2012.

Everything else however was information the press had solely acquired at E3 and that was at the beginning of the month. Don't get upset at the ending of Mass Effect. It's a work of creativity. It doesn't matter whether we like it or not, that's the end the writers wanted. A movie director (worth their salt) wouldn't redirect the ending of their depending on fan reaction and neither should a game writer.
However... all that said, I wish it had ended about 5 minutes before it did. Would have been great and poignant. I won't spoil but that's the bit of the ending that I really remember.
I didnt have much problem with the ending in ME3, but it was definately depressing. But given the game in general, it was a world with a bleak future and every day you just hoped to be alive for one more day.
Given that, the ending fit the story. Too many people complain about stuff that isn't even reasonable. This was their story. Just like a movie. The only thing they promised was that the story would tailor to your decisions, and for the most part it did. THey never claimed these choices would lead to A) Your perfect ending or the Bad ending. The story played out as they intended. It wasnt meant to end in a shower of flowers and rainbows. But what people fail to mention was that this ride was an incredible dramatic telling of a deep, disturbing Sci fi world

Microsoft usually updates XBLA on Wednesdays. I am pretty sure it is Sony that updates PSN on Tuesdays. Microsoft has had a few Friday releases, as walkerbait00 mentioned.
