Oh great. This thread just got nasty again. Because that's just what this forum needs <sarcasm>
You have to understand that there are kids on this forum, so when you start cussing and insulting other members you could be talking to some little kid. And even if that person is an adult, I can assure you that they don't appreciate it either.
This world is made of... LOVE AND PEACE!!!!! - Vash the Stampede
What were we discussing again? Oh yeah, the walking dead release date...
Is it the 26th yet?? lol. I'm in denial.. I want to keep hoping and believing it will be out the 26th.. but deep down inside I fear it won't come out all this month.. I definitely don't like how quiet TT is.. I'd think if they were going to put it out this month they would be excited, like, "guys, it'll be out any day! thank you for your patience!" but no word at all is making me believe they don't really know when they'll get it out and don't wanna piss people off more by saying anything! That's my 2 cents about that!
But there's 6 more days left yet till the end of the month, so I can still hope for a little while longer that they'll get it out!
I know this has probably already been stated, but let's face it. It'll come out when they decide, or when they can to release it. They're not going to not release it. (If that made any sense at all)
You paid for something. You're going to get it. If not then you can spend the next 8 hours of your day working to get that $24.99 back. If you're really that impatient you can go ahead and work for $3.12/hr.

It does make sense, and you're addressing a crucial point. Those new to Telltale hear "monthly", it's been two months to the day, they find no communication about a release date and there's no episode two yet, so what they come to think is vaporware. That's somehow understandable, but thankfully wrong. Episode 2 is just around the corner and I'd assume the TTG team wants to release it as soon as they can (anything else would just not make sense).

I hate to say it, but these people are just dead wrong. Look at ALL the other releases. Every game has been released in full. They have no evidence to back up their assumptions.

You've got two years of Telltale experience, so it's far easier for you to have that confidence! And I share it of course. But a full month's delay without a word, that's not chicken feed. Not in this world.
So it bears repeating: Every one of Telltale's Seasons was finished, all episodes were released. And although some delays occurred, the Seasons were always finished in a reasonable time frame.

Historically speaking, there's been TONS of games that have delays of at least a year, maybe even more than that. Look at Duke Nukem Forever. That took them more than a DECADE to come out.

The games are hardly comparable. This scenario is vastly different in many ways.

So, we're not allowed to complain about the one month delay because they usually delay games more than a month?
The faint hope is of course that the long term Telltale game players can - out of their experience with the company - get a bit of their ongoing confidence across. In a completely non-offensive, non-insulting, non-inciting, non-derogatory way of course.
Hey, that worked on at least 20% of this thread's pages!
So, while we're waiting for any news, let's do something, what would you like to see in The Walking Dead Episode 2? I would like to see Clementine parents being killed, lol. I would also like to see Clementine dead, but maybe that's too early. Anyone else got ideas?

yes till we get the newer members claiming to know everything and not budging from that view point and then calling us fanboi's just cos we have played ttg products before..

I am all for waiting, i have a year or more wait on Wasteland 2.
I am all for having to deal with delays of over a month, hell i have waited years for games before.
But now we arnt even getting updates, no news at all about the coming episode, we were supposed to get one a month ago, and yet im pissed off.
Many of us are pissed off, what im trying to say is, a game company who either has the single worst customer service department, or they just dont care enough about their playerbase and fans to give us an update, or even a release date, hell a release week would be sufficient, but we arnt even getting that, and why?
If they "havnt got around to it" then they just dont care, if they dont have the product then we deserve something to compensate. We payed for a service/product, and they cant deliver, we deserve interest, many of you can say im just being greedy or something, but i have been patient, i am way past patient.
The least telltale could do is give us any kind of news, as far as i can tell, they dont care, they havnt given us anything, i want some news, i want some indication that they give enough of a fuck to tell us if they screwed up, or if they at least have anything at all, i just want to know if i have to wait until the end of june, or beyond.

I assume that whatever happens next week, we'll at least finally have some official news. They can't let June pass without telling us WHY.
Welcome to the forums, Captain - and sorry for the merge.
If Episode II is released on the 25th Im calling in sick to work to stay home and play!
( I WISH) But for real that would be nice. If we have to wait untill the first or later not only do I want episode 2 and 3 in the same update,I also want the developers frozen in Carbonite and shiped to the prison world Kessel to work in the Glitterstem mines for exactly 2 months.:)

i wouldn't waste a sick day if i were you because even if it dose come out telltale dosent release there games till later in the evening (unless your working a night shift, then go ahead lol)
Like many people here, I bought the five episodes when the first one came out and I really liked it. I was going to buy this game for my brother (he is a huge fan of TWD), but after one month of delay without a word from TTG, I think that I should buy him one of the books instead. This makes me really sad, because I think the full game will be awesome, but right now I would not recommend it for any friend of mine (games in Brazil are very expensive, as any brazilian player will tell you).
even tho people are say it MS fault for delay so yea not sony fault
Microsoft holding a game for their own console isn't going to stop the releases for other consoles. That is unless they're planning some sort of "all together" release... But that doesn't make much sense to me. Meh, I give up, thinking makes my brain hurt.

I have hopes - because as Brandedkisame said, the 1st Episode was not released concurrently with other consoles. So...

If you don't have anything nice to say... you can express your less-than-nice things in a constructive way.

And now we know that Cthulu's screen resolution is far above average.
