i would say overall the 2nd episode was better than the 1st.Although some parts in the second episode did'nt make much sense it was still a tense story and it was so gory.its so rubbish it takes 1 month to release each episode.
Telltale’s Episodic Adventure game; The Walking Dead is a cinematic masterpiece and a must have for any fan. The Walking Dead immerses the player in a nightmarish world of survival and tough choices.
With gruesome horror around every turn, the choices made by the player guide the storyline down many different paths giving the game great Re-playability! The cut scenes flow seamlessly into the game play giving a movie-like experience. This is one of the better games I own and a steal at $25!
I agree this game is a steal for $25. For what I am paying I am really happy so far with the 25 bucks I spent on this game.

which bits didn't make sense ?
also you should probably google 'episodic gaming' and look at ttg wiki
Loved Episode 1, and I love 2 oh so much more. I also love the way that the characters changed in the 3 months in between. I sided with Kenny in Episode 1, saved Duck at the fam, stood up to Larry at the drugstore, even gave Duck an energy bar afterward because I felt sorry for him and his family. Then in 2, I gave Kenny, Duck, Clem and Ben the food at the camp. I started to understand Lilly and Larry better and sympathized with them alot more than 1, and I began to grow tired of Kenny and his constant fighting with Lilly.
Then the meat locker scene where I side with Kenny, even though I think that both he and Lilly have good points. After he killed Larry so quickly, I seriously began to doubt him, and then when he freaked out on me for not wanting to steal from the car I have decided that I just go along with him any more. He's losing his humanity, where I am trying to keep mine (and Clem's).
Trapped Teacher- Cut his leg off
Shot Jolene- Had Lee kill her
Meat Locker- Killed Larry, very hesitantly
St. John brothers- Killed Danny, didn't kill Andy
Car Supplies- Didn't steal, wanna make up for killing Jolene, Danny, and Larry
ok so my view of the walking dead goes like this, i think telltale has done a great job, but could be doing a lot better. First i'l say kudo's to the comic book style brings in a different aspect and is enjoyable, second iv been having doubts about it being tailored to you, by now everyone should be splitting up, in episode 1 it should be more of the tutorial and laying down the base to the type of choices and personal future, episode 2 should start to branch off, to me by the end of ep.2 there should be at least 3 different scenarios you could be in depending on what you have chosen. Telltale doesn't realize this is a MAJOR selling point to their game. I'v read a bunch of posts and it seems that no matter what ppl do there still in the same place as me, but there is still time to change that, this game has huge potential. Third I'm getting a lil pissed at telltale, they'v realised how they ignored the customers from the time between ep 1 and 2, couldn't get any reliable info, they said they would start being more open to the public but im not seeing it, like i said they could be doing soo much better

Hi, welcome. We meet on Sundays and our favorite hymns are "A Little Further With Me, My Lord" and "The Choir Sings Against Thee, Telltale".
You know I hope they delve a little deeper into Lee's crime and also his history teacher job. If he's the protagonist, I'd like to see him use his knowledge of history to help them survive.
PS. Mark is a the broest of bros, even when he's dead.
Just finished Walking Dead Episode 1 (It took me few hours). I can't hide my happiness with this game. well done guys. The interactivity in the game scenario is really unique. I'm aware that it must have taken lots of efforts from developers to build the hierarchy of the whole series based on the player decision (By the way , I saved the girl...sorry Doug :-0 ).
In conclusion, the game worth every cent. I'm 32 years old and working as engineer. Such a game made me live in my world that I missed years ago. Thanks to you and waiting for next episodes.

Not even middle aged engineers are saving the middle aged engineer. What is the world coming to?
I thought it was Great Can't wait till episode 3!!! I'm wondering what everyones stats are....Mine are as follows
Chopped Davids Leg Off? - I left him to die....(I have no idea how I could have saved him someone mind sharing????)
Shot Jolene? - Danny Shot Her
Helped Kill Larry? - I didn't help..
Killed both brother? - I only killed the one in the barn...
Stold food from car? - I did not steal....
I am curios of what would have happened if I chose different routes anyone mind sharing c:
Let me enlighten you on the different perspectives:
Chopped Davids Leg Off: you just chop off his legs and bring him to camp with you which also turns into a zombie
Shot Jolene: it's either Danny or Lee that shoots her
Helped Kill Larry: If you help kenny(which means siding with him) lily will be pissed at you and doesn't do anything to help you
Killed both brother: doesn't matter what you decide. you can either kill both, spare both's life or kill one or the other. These choices will only have an affect on Clementine
Stole food from car: If you steal, both lily and Clementine will be pissed at you
A few things really didn't make sense...Please if someone gets it help me understand
1. When I was out messing with the generator, Danny was sitting not far from me. He didn't see me.
2. At the end, Andy turned on the generator trying to put my head to the fence, (at this time the woman who said she was gonna cover me and didn't do it the entire time conveniently jumps out and shot Andy), so the fence should be on. Yet the walkers got in, without getting electrocuted.
3. Kenny got shot, and seemed just fine....
someone help me explain why the zombies got through without getting electrocuted at the end when Andy clearly turned on the switch??
1)First off if you noticed correctly, from where Danny was to the generator the path was in a form of a curve. So maybe since it was a curve Danny didn't see Lee or maybe when you mess with the generator Danny would have left, since you don't get to see Danny while messing with it
2)If you recall correctly it was raining heavily with a thunderstorm so the generator just got busted by the lightning and like someone said it got overloaded. If you kill Andy by electrocuting him into the fence that's another way of how it got overloaded since he's a big guy. In additional to that, the generator ran on gas and maybe till the walkers arrived it was depleted so hadn't enough energy to work
3)He got shot on the side. He could be fine depending on the wound. There is also a possibility that by the time Lee was fighting, Katja addressed his wound. If this was it obviously we couldn't have witnessed it
1. In episode 1, it was apparently programmed that "We reason with him" being as siding with Larry when he wanted to throw duck out. I didn't want to side with Larry, I wanted to reason with him. This one thing seems to make Kenny have it in for me in episode 2 when I didn't even mean it like that
It's not your fault or your decision's fault. There is some issues with the decision's connecting episode 1 to episode 2. Had an ep1 playthrough with siding thoroughly with Kenny but in ep2 he argued how i didn't side with him. If you start ep1 again it should work fine this time
2. I was disappointed that no matter how alpha you are with the people at the dairy they still decide to attack you. Seriously, what point was it to say "We have enough people to defend ourselves" or "Nobody fucks with us"
The only thing that the brothers do is cannibalize which means kill people to eat them. So it doesn't affect on how you correspond to them. "We have enough people to defend ourselves" - showing that they mean business to scare people who might do something to them so other's would be alert.
3. When you go to dinner and you make the excuse to "go wash your hands" there should be an option to go to the bathroom, wash your hands, and go back to eat dinner. Hell you can't even wash your hands period. There is absolutely no option other than to go upstairs, be a snoop, and find Mark (unless I totally missed it)
The "go wash your hands" was just an excuse to check on Mark. Since Lee asked 3 times about Mark and the same reply was "he's doing fine" made him suspicious. You can try to go back to the others but as soon as you do that you'll hear Mark calling for help. What do you do, just let it be and join the others or go investigate ? I would assure you that you'd be extremely curios and just "snoop" around
Or if you have Doug alive from the previous episode, when you get out of the barn you see a laser beam. Kenny went out 1 minute before I did, so Doug just didn't see a screaming man running out?? Did he arrive like right between after Kenny ran out and before I went out??
I guess it happened that way yeah since Doug state's that he didn't see Kenny
Telltale, you guys are well known for doing what fans like, did you perhaps read what we all said about Larry and said "fine, kill him now then, go on!" and see what we would do? If so, Bravo!
A lot of people wanted him dead and so did I seeing what an asshole he was in the previous episode. Like I said I wanted him dead but the way they did it in ep2 was wayyyyyy extreme. Would have preferred him to either got shot or snatched by the zombies/walkers
The heck was with the army guy? I was expecting a flashback or something about him, but no, we got no backstory for him and he's dead now.
I think the reason for not giving us a lot of information about Mark was for the fact that he'd still die in the end We get some insight about him though throughout the game
In episode 2 for example: Choose not to go to the dairy? You go anyway. Choose not to shoot the mad woman? She's shot anyway. Choose not to kill Larry? He's killed anyway. Choose not to steal from the car? The stuff is stolen anyway. Choose not to kill the St John brothers? Doesn't effect the story at all 'cos they won't be seen again either way
Choose not to go to the dairy? You go anyway - Even if you choose not to go you're not the leader so they voted and the vote to go passed so you were out voted so you didn't have a choice
Choose not to shoot the mad woman? She's shot anyway - In the end Danny says that HE shot her because the group wasn't yet prepared to hear about their operation so he had to shoot her so not to spill a word
Choose not to kill Larry? He's killed anyway - No matter who you side with Kenny wanted him dead for he thought that he'd turn into a zombie and kill them. Happens in real life situations
Choose not to steal from the car? The stuff is stolen anyway - Does it mean that if you choese to remain hungry I have to suffer hunger because of you ? No it doesn't have to be like that so I steal the food even though you don't approve
Choose not to kill the St John brothers? Doesn't effect the story at all 'cos they won't be seen again either way - Like I said it only affects Clementine about how you handled the situations
Maybe you'd have a point if the main selling point of the whole game wasn't "The story is tailored to how you play". It even says exactly that before each episode. Yet it isn't, the story is pretty much set in stone, no matter what you do.
All in all, I feel that the game is a lot more linear than I thought it would be. I expected it to be more like "Heavy Rain" where your decisions take you down different story arcs and skip over some of them etc. Maybe my bar is a little high but it's what I expected with the way the game is being marketed (The game is tailored to the choices you make)
Inserted both questions together to be able to respond to the both of you. Firstly you can't compare Heavy Rain to Walking Dead for just a simple reason: Heavy Rain is a totally 1 packet finished game, whereas Walking Dead is done episodically. For Heavy Rain they had plenty of time to do EXACTLY what you're asking of TTG as they had time to twitch into these major parts. For Walking Dead, since it's episodically, they don't have time to go into these major parts as if they did, we as players, would have had a time gap of 5-7 months for each episode. Think about it If ttg do what you're asking think about the number of options you'll have and the number of playthroughs you'll also have. To make my example valid, If you decide not to go to the dairy, you'll maybe have these options: continue hunting through the woods for food, go to other places(not the diary), encounter a building in a zone etc etc etc Imagine how many options there'll be if this is the case for JUST only 1 decision, let alone the OTHER decisions and therefore you'll end up with millions of choices which isn't the case. Don't forget that if you get millions of choices that means the same for the number of playthrough's to go through ALL of them :eek:

That's a really long post, but your responses to my parts were inaccurate.

Since there were a lot of people who were unsure about some things I felt the need to respond to their posts. Why were they inaccurate ? Would like to hear your feedbacks about the answers I replied to your questions and thoughts

Well, the "We reason with him" thing is not a bug. When you pick it in episode one it gives a hint that says "You sided with Larry". The other two options "It's him or Duck" and "Kick his Ass" are the 'side with Kenny' options. That's how it was programmed. So if you pick reason with him it automatically counts against Kenny even if you choose to stop Larry at the next prompt.
the "All they do is cannibalize" part didn't make sense at all.
Also, the hand washing part, There is no reason it shouldn't be an option. In a post apocalyptic world it would be reasonable not to rush upstairs even if you heard his cry for help. I would have liked to whisper to Kenny to go up there with me.... the option to just eat dinner and have mark crawl down on his own and resume the game as normal would even work.
This is just my opinion, but The Argument you made about heavy rain doesn't make sense at all, HR could have easily been an episodic game (Episode for each trial, longer first and concluding episodes) and the argument against branching narratives sounds like you just liking telltale and reaching a reason for it to be okay. It wouldn't have been "millions", maybe a few dozen though would be nice. It's what I was expecting out of the game. Am I seriously the only one who was disappointed when I did a second playthrough to see the changes and everything played out exactly the same way?

My response wasn't to the quote "We reason with him" but rather to the last thing you said, "This one thing seems to make Kenny have it in for me in episode 2 when I didn't even mean it like that". What I was trying to say was that there were some issues applying your choices from ep1 to ep2 understand ?
the "All they do is cannibalize" part didn't make sense at all - why didn't it ? you said that you treated them well and you didn't expect them to attack you right ? A murderer is still a murderer right ? you can't call him anything else except a murderer. Same concept for the cannibalism. If you're a cannibal you're still a cannibal
Like I said Lee didn't want to wash his hands cause his hands didn't need washing so my point was that he made that excuse to check up on mark.
As for "I would have liked to whisper to Kenny to go up there with me.... the option to just eat dinner and have mark crawl down on his own and resume the game as normal would even work" that was already explained in the million possible options bit
Nothing I say seems to make any sense to you ?
Let me explain your four-thought then: SONY don't make episodic gaming so your concept is invalid.

When I said "millions" didn't mean the exact amount but 20-50 roughly. I understand your point and I agree with you and that it would have been nice that way, but you have to look on the bright side. If they do what you are expecting that will take them more like 4-7 months each episode. You wouldn't want that right ?

Of course this isn't the only thing measured but it has a lot of weight, and you called it a bug when it's not.

That seems to be a system of belief, not a system of fact. I disagree with your "murderer is a murderer" belief here, and I don't really think anyone feels that way.
Like I said Lee didn't want to wash his hands cause his hands didn't need washing so my point was that he made that excuse to check up on mark.
He didn't wash his hands because the interaction icon wasn't there on the sink. I didn't want to check on mark god damnit this isnt my house and these people are sketchy and on playthrough 2 I knew they would lock me in a meat locker if I did so I didn't want to. Even if it was a dismissive excuse, he should at least wash his hands first and then check on Mark. What if Mark was in bed resting sipping tea and you walked back into dinner with dry hands....
As for "I would have liked to whisper to Kenny to go up there with me.... the option to just eat dinner and have mark crawl down on his own and resume the game as normal would even work" that was already explained in the million possible options bit
The eating dinner and having mark crawl downstairs bit wouldn't have split the narrative. Just an automatic "clem ate the meat" choice. The point I was making is that this specific scene is WAY too linear and the game forces you to play it in a way that I don't think many people would play it if in the same situation.
Let me explain your four-thought then: SONY don't make episodic gaming so your concept is invalid.
That doesn't matter. TTG doesn't make interactive dramas with tailored stories so your concept is invalid. Heavy Rain was split into chapters, that's about as close as you can get to episodic games. Throw in 5 extra "End of episode X" screens after a select 4 of them and spread out the release dates and you've got an episodic game.
In the realm of interactive dramas, my four your old words for you since you don't get it: Heavy Rain did it right. This game does it wrong.
When I said "millions" didn't mean the exact amount but 20-50 roughly. I understand your point and I agree with you and that it would have been nice that way, but you have to look on the bright side. If they do what you are expecting that will take them more like 4-7 months each episode. You wouldn't want that right ?
Everyone seems to make this argument as well. I feel like a broken record when I say TELLTALE GAMES DOES NOT MAKE ENTIRE EPISODES BETWEEN THE RELEASE GAP. All 5 episodes were in final phases before the first was released. Making a more immersive game would not have touched the schedule, just pushed back the initial release which I'm sure most people would be fine with.
We've had Ep 2 DL'ed on the PS3 since it was released, and this morning I finally found the time to get through it.
Fan-freakin'-tastic. Other than a little bit of lag glitch, it was totally enjoyable. We're in TWD universe here, playing a game that allows us choices and the suspense throughout kept me on the edge of my seat. I can't complain about much at all, because I don't take video games too seriously and view them as a form of simple entertainment when time allows.
:spoil-o:
That said, I died about three times in this episode. LMAO! Should've known that crazy mama on the staircase was gonna cap me...:D
I was pretty much waiting for a good time to dispose of Larry, and had to find a relatively tactful method of getting rid of the old coot without getting Lily's panties in a wad. So here's how I played it:
*Hacked the teacher's leg
*Let Danny shoot Jolene
*Sided with Kenny; he killed Larry
*Killed both St. John bros.
*Took the food
I've been pretty much trying to take a peaceful stance on everything but now the attitude has changed. I'm going to protect Clem no matter what (as usual, and keep her calm), side with Kenny, and kill anything that gets in my way. Hopefully Lily can be reasoned with but if not, she's gone as well. I'll try to keep Carley and that pistol on my side as well. My decisions will involve the best interest of the group if that means stepping up to take charge and removing threats that will harm the majority.
Maybe I do take this stuff far too seriously! Overall, this is a great game and I've enjoyed every bit of it thus far-- and I'm very much looking forward to the next episode! I've read every TWD comic since becoming a big fan of the series, and have also pre-ordered the vidgame set for next year's release.
Bottom line and simply just one opinion: Telltale has done a fantastic job with this game and I will have no problem putting up the cash to finish it. Keep up the awesome work (Telltale), and may your aim be true when those walkers are on the approach!

Your not taking it too seriously, this game is awesome. Ive got two games going at once. Once in which I try to make all the "right" decisions for the group, and i let Carly live...the other in which I try to be a badass/intimidating leader and let Doug Live. I might have to start a 3rd one and make him a straight up @$$hole, just for fun. I hope the next episode comes out soon, i dont know if i can wait til MID august!
The scene where Momma St-John takes Katjaa hostage is probably the most awesome scene I've ever played in any game, period. The lighting, the emotion, the scene itself, it all gave me goose bumps.
On my first time playing episode 2 I really thought Kenny was a jerk, I supported him in episode 1 and now he acts like I’m the enemy (including almost letting me die in the barn). But when I ran through it on my second save game (also supported Kenny in episode 1 on this save), I told Kenny that leaving was a good idea and the whole game changed moving forward. He had my back the entire time and even saved me in the barn. It was Lilly who was going to let the guy kill me.
Also on my second save game, I saved Doug. He turns out to be quiet useful (from setting up alarms to fixing electronics). He seemed to play a bigger part in episode 2 over Carly (I saved her in my first save game and she did very little in episode 2)
On my third save game (this one I backed Larry on) I am going to support Lilly 100% and see if Kenny is even a bigger jerk then he was in the first run.I love this game.
I think im going to do the same thing tonight. Side with larry to kill Duck. Save shawn instead of Duck. This is exciting bc i HATE that little sh!t lol
anyone else thoughroly (sp?) enjoy bashing Andy's face in? I kept hitting him with a right hook, and the whole right side of his face was REAL messed up. So awesome.
Let me just start out by saying: I just finished episode 2 of the walking dead game, and honestly I have not been this impressed with a game's story and mechanic for a long time. I have the same depressed/sad feeling after beating it that I got with games like Half-Life 2(it's a good thing, as in I feel nothing I do after playing it will be as enjoyable).
I'm sincerely hoping that the rest of the episodes and the game's conclusion will not be done cheaply or swift, I hope that all of the stories get and ending, good or bad, but at least everything reach it's deserved ending.
Anyways I had a suggestion for the game and I feel would be a great addition.
So the game is obviously based on the decisions you make along the way, and I would like to see the decisions layed out once I've beaten the game. Just to see all the paths I could have or could not have taken. Perhaps when you beat an episode, it shows a decision tree. It would start with the first decision you make, and every decision that changes something would branch out. Each split would have a little bubble that could show a picture of the decision you had to make and maybe some background on said decision. It could also trace a path from the start to the finish showing which decisions you made, AND if possible, you could even select a decision and choose to start a new game from that decision.
Thanks for taking the time to read, and I hope that if some of the game designers see my suggestion and like it, that they end up doing something with it. And thanks for making such an awesome game telltale!
So I have been reading posts on this forum for quite some time and decided not to join in on the bashing of the lateness and everything but I wanted to leave a comment about the story so far. I really am wanting to see the stats for the 2nd episode since a lot of what I did wasn't what a majority of players did. In the 1st episode I was really the protector of Clem and chose to save Carly because of her presence with the gun. I did show a different side in the next episode.
I did make all three kills that you could (both brothers and the woman in the campsite) reason being is that the woman made me feel threatened by going off the rails which I did realize later it was because the ol rednecks were eating everyone. But I made sure to drive the pitchfork into the one brother; and the reason I killed the second brother wasn't because he was heckling me to do it, it was mainly to show to the group I'm the leader now and I'm here to protect even if it means taking out the bad guys. Of course the big choice was a no-brainer for me and felt that it was one of those choices that Clem would just have to deal with and I took the supplies. I'm not sure if it is because of my role while I was in the service but I just feel the need to protect myself and the group and I'm very into this game and the choices you need to make. Not sure if others made all of these same choices but I like that a game makes me still think about it long after I have played it.
I have kept myself from playing any of the episodes more than once until I have fully completed the full game. Anyway the past couple months I have enjoyed reading everyone's comments I just thought I would finally leave one of my own.

your gonna have a lloonnggg wait until you start playing again... i would start another game if i were you, giving your character a different attitude from what you would actually do. I am on my 3rd game right now, first one was everything I would do...2nd was more of a "leader making hardest decisions", 3rd is complete badass...think "the bad john lock" in the end of Lost. Also, i chose kenny's side in the first, both sides in the 2nd, and im going to be all Lilly in this 3rd. I even agreed with Larry that we should kill Duck haha. Its fun to see reactions to silence as well... or picking the response that seems most outrageous/innappropriate.
anyone else thoughroly (sp?) enjoy bashing Andy's face in? I kept hitting him with a right hook, and the whole right side of his face was REAL messed up. So awesome.
Mm. I still prefer the irony of pushing him into his own creation: the electric fence.
The only really big decision thus far was in episode one, choosing Doug or Carley... and even then, that really didn't effect anything that happened in episode two, as Carley and Doug were pretty inter-change-able.
Hi all, sorry to bring up an old post and possible dead thread. My first post too!
But I must say 'Carley and Doug were pretty inter-change-able'
Carley saves your life? Whilst fighting against Andy she shoots him in the ear stopping him from killing you. Right? So surely, Doug would not of been able to help you out there!
Oh, also.. I absolutely loved Mark being not so much of a Walker on the stairs, hanging down and grabbing the mother.
Lastly, I never covered why the electric fence came back on during the Bandit attack, is there a dialogue that covers it?

That is all.
I believe Doug does save your life by shining a laser pointer at Andy's eyes. It was awesome to see the irony of Mark. He said that if anything went down, he would have protected Lee. During the Brenda scene, he indirectly "saved" the group even as a walker. Also, the fence came on because Andy thought he heard Mark scream. If you remember, the fence came on AFTER he screamed. This was suspicious.
I should have waited for all five episodes to be released before I played the first two. This game is like a drug. I'm addicted and now I'm tweaking for the next episode to come out! Dang it!
I want to make things up with Kenny in the next episode. The guy is pissed at me because I didn't help him kill Larry. I couldn't do it. I mean, I hated Larry it would have been easy, but I felt bad for Lilly. Now Kenny hates me. The guy saved me when Larry punched me in the face so I feel like I should have shown him more loyalty.

Come on episode 3!
Hm. He still would have saved you if you saved Shawn and sided with Larry in the drug store. Repairing my relationship with Kenny is the least of my concerns in the upcoming episodes.
I'm pretty sure the "morality" in this game is loyalty to Kenny or Lily. You'll never please both and one or the other is going to shoot you in the back.

True but Kenny still has a family to protect so if I have to choose between saving one or the other, I'd have to let Lily die. But I swear to protect Clementine above all! She's my little angel.
I think everyone must have at least two saves. I have one game that is totally based on my moral compass and first instincts and a second where I made the opposite choices, just to see how it hashes out in the end. I haven't squarely sided with Lilly or Kenny in either case.
Comments
And to Telltale games, you've created some of the most interesting and loveable characters in along time. Clementine is adorable.
I agree this game is a steal for $25. For what I am paying I am really happy so far with the 25 bucks I spent on this game.
which bits didn't make sense ?
also you should probably google 'episodic gaming' and look at ttg wiki
Hi, welcome. We meet on Sundays and our favorite hymns are "A Little Further With Me, My Lord" and "The Choir Sings Against Thee, Telltale".
PS. Mark is a the broest of bros, even when he's dead.
I assumed that she was interested in Clem especially, took her hat to remind her of the girl, and that she wanted to take Clem for her own.
In conclusion, the game worth every cent. I'm 32 years old and working as engineer. Such a game made me live in my world that I missed years ago. Thanks to you and waiting for next episodes.
Not even middle aged engineers are saving the middle aged engineer. What is the world coming to?
Let me enlighten you on the different perspectives:
Chopped Davids Leg Off: you just chop off his legs and bring him to camp with you which also turns into a zombie
Shot Jolene: it's either Danny or Lee that shoots her
Helped Kill Larry: If you help kenny(which means siding with him) lily will be pissed at you and doesn't do anything to help you
Killed both brother: doesn't matter what you decide. you can either kill both, spare both's life or kill one or the other. These choices will only have an affect on Clementine
Stole food from car: If you steal, both lily and Clementine will be pissed at you
1)First off if you noticed correctly, from where Danny was to the generator the path was in a form of a curve.
If this was it obviously we couldn't have witnessed it
It's not your fault or your decision's fault. There is some issues with the decision's connecting episode 1 to episode 2. Had an ep1 playthrough with siding thoroughly with Kenny but in ep2 he argued how i didn't side with him. If you start ep1 again it should work fine this time
The only thing that the brothers do is cannibalize which means kill people to eat them. So it doesn't affect on how you correspond to them. "We have enough people to defend ourselves" - showing that they mean business to scare people who might do something to them so other's would be alert.
I guess it happened that way yeah since Doug state's that he didn't see Kenny
A lot of people wanted him dead and so did I seeing what an asshole he was in the previous episode. Like I said I wanted him dead but the way they did it in ep2 was wayyyyyy extreme. Would have preferred him to either got shot or snatched by the zombies/walkers
I think the reason for not giving us a lot of information about Mark was for the fact that he'd still die in the end We get some insight about him though throughout the game
Hope these help

"the argument against branching narratives sounds like you just liking telltale and reaching a reason for it to be okay. It wouldn't have been "millions", maybe a few dozen though would be nice. It's what I was expecting out of the game. Am I seriously the only one who was disappointed when I did a second playthrough to see the changes and everything played out exactly the same way?"
The eating dinner and having mark crawl downstairs bit wouldn't have split the narrative. Just an automatic "clem ate the meat" choice. The point I was making is that this specific scene is WAY too linear and the game forces you to play it in a way that I don't think many people would play it if in the same situation.
